Hands-down the best cheese & charcuterie board we've had in a long time! Often one orders a cheese board, and the crackers / bread served with it is minimal, but we were served 2 mini french loaves freshly baked! Eagle's Nest wines serves their guests in a beautiful garden setting which is well shaded and very peaceful. Their wines are world class! Our waiter, Kudzai, was knowledgeable and attentive, and we thoroughly enjoy his humor!

No free glass, no winery tour. Nice places to sit though. No coffee or any hot drinks. No food except for cheese platters and small thinks that complement wine. Overall it was a nice place and the waiters knew their wines and give a really good rundown about the wines.

Amazing views and scenery but highly disappointed with the service I received yesterday. Waiter was rude, dismissive and played it down as being “busy”. Perhaps management shouldn’t short staff on extremely busy days, especially over the festive period.

Beautiful setting amongst nature and great staff. Easy drinking wines and Little Eagle sav blanc my favorite. Ordered the The Undecided platter to share with a friend. It was small for the price and should come with 2 baguettes not just one. Child friendly. Jordan our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. He is an asset to Eagles nest.

Beautiful, quaint place with an option of indoors or outdoors. I took my bf there but it was raining unfortunately but we could stay indoors and be warm, there's even a fireplace. You have to book in advance because apparently places are limited

Beautiful setting but not wheelchair accessible at all. No wheelchair access to the gardens because of steps.

Gorgeous wines. Found the platters a bit expensive but good service and nice get away spot.

Nestled in the heart of the Constantia Valley, this gem boasts a variety of vintage & easy drinking wines. Tastings start at R95 for 5x beautiful wines and the tasting room is open Mon - Sun 10:30 - 16:30 Friendly doggos are welcome on lead 🐶🐶🐶 There is a lovely picnic lawn to sprawl out on as well as table seating to suit your preference. A definite must-visit! Pet-friendly | @petfriendly_cpt

This is more than a wine estate, it's a special occasion venue that caters to elegance and sophistication. It's nestled in Constantia on the slopes of the mountain, but you are also sheltered from the wind (mostly). Service is top notch and the wait was acceptable. Also, the server staff managed to keep a good balance between the extremes of being intrusive and ignoring guests. Food is good and well prepared. Bathrooms are clean, available. There's not much in the way of catering to young children, except perhaps the lawns, but adult supervision is recommended near the stream. Parking is a tight issue and can be very tricky to navigate on popular days. They have a selfie frame to take good shots.

The parking is not very clearly marked, but there is extra at the top, so just drive where you feel you probably shouldn't be driving :) Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff with interactive wine tasting. Great for families and fur friends! Lots of space to run and truly delicious Charcuterie. You feel as if you're in a forest, with how green it is and the stream trickling by. A much recommended spot!

Eagle Nest wine estate in Cape Town is a truly exceptional place for wine lovers. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. The estate itself is beautiful, with a charming and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting. The wines themselves are top-notch, with a wide range of varietals and styles to choose from. The tasting room is comfortable and well-appointed, making it the perfect place to spend an afternoon sipping on some of the finest wines in the region. But what really sets Eagle Nest apart is the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are passionate about wine and are always happy to answer questions and provide recommendations. They make the tasting experience truly enjoyable, and their enthusiasm is infectious. Overall, Eagle Nest wine estate is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in wine in the Cape Town region. Whether you are a seasoned wine connoisseur or just starting to explore the world of wine, you will find something to love at this beautiful and welcoming estate.

Planned to stop here on the wine tour as run by city sightseeing hop on off bus. And was not disappointed. We stopped to have lunch and taste what I hoped were some good wines. And very pleased with night. Highly recommended as this a a quiet place with character.

Eagles Nest for wine tasting and platters in the garden was a very pleasant surprise. It was quite popular but not crushingly so - not as commercialised as some of its neighbours. The staff were welcoming and knew their wines, overall it was a very pleasant few hours. Very child and dog friendly.

We got to this farm 40 minutes before they close and where told by the manager that we will not be served even a bottle of wine as it was to close to their closing time. We felt unwelcome and will not recommend this place. There are hundreds of wonderful farms to visit... Visit one's with a positive can do attitude. You won't think that Covid impacted this industry and farm as they obviously don't need business. I hope the owner sees this post and correct the attitude of the management.

Peaceful setting in a lush garden filled with birds. We did the wine tasting. Our wine guide was informative yet relaxed allowing us time to enjoy the wine in before going on to the next wine. The platter was well presented and tasty although a bit in the expensive side. All in all a great wine estate to visit.

👍👍 I love walking the Aphen trail. Length can be adjusted accordingly. Lush and green with a flowing river and friendly people and dogs, and occasional horses. Also love the coffee available between in the mornings 7am to midday at Ave Le Seur field.

👍👍 What a wonderful and peaceful place to go for a walk and clear your mind. The trail is practically surrounded by a wide assortment of forest trees and plants, providing a cool shade, and beauty for the eye to behold. It's the ideal location to go for a walk with both kids and dogs alike.
