Just fabulous! The maitre d' is friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. The house wine is of an excellent quality - after trying a glass of the house rose, I found it to be so good I bought two bottles to take home with me to enjoy with family, and the house red my husband ordered was very good too. Highly recommended - I hope to return if I visit this area again.

Booked in advance, highly recommended, and was seated next to the window in a very quaint and cute restaurant in Deganwy. Having lived in Quebec for many years, the food was very authentic and great quality. Wine selection vey good. The Escargot was fantastic and not over done by heaps of cheese, garlic was just right with butter. This was followed by the most delicious fresh Hake served with mashed potatoes and veg. Perfectly done. The desert being a crime brule also done to perfection. A really authentic evening and our table was ours until it closed. Very highly recommended and definitely a 5 star experience.

We had our dinner here after a long hike. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was so so great. The waiter who served us is very friendly and hilarious, his French is so cute! The snail was amazing, so was the crabs. Would love to come back again :-) lovely Paysanne. 10/10.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal. My duck was beautifully cooked as was my husband's hake, with a delicious selection of vegetables. Great variety of dessert, perfect portions. Staff were very attentive and it made for a special evening.

Great food and exceptional service. We were greeted at the door, and the gentleman offered food and wine recommendations when asked, that were spot on. We had starter, main and dessert as the portions were not too large, which meant we could sample lots of the delicious menu. The sea bass was perfect with the orange and fennel sauce, the house red wine was delicious and the cheese selection was very well picked- arguably the best 4 French cheeses! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We begged to be squeezed in having stayed next door and been treated to the smells coming from this place for days. Sunday 3 course lunch was incredible, wine from the local village was just as good and the lovely owner Cai couldn’t do enough to give you a lovely dining experience. Food was delicious, all 3 courses and lovely to sit and watch the world go by!

Charming, unassuming yet very cosy place. French cuisine du terroir done with quality ingredients. Service done without rushing patrons. All in all, a very pleasant restaurant. But, please, don't tell anybody.

I had fish with orange and tarragon sauce my partner had chicken with a creamy sauce, both cooked to perfection with flavours to make the taste buds sing. Desserts were wonderful, we chose blueberry, blackberry & almond tart with custard and the cafe gourmand (a combo of espresso, fruit jelly, creme brulee and a mini macaroon) - beautiful !!

Just a small place and the food was fantastic. Cai, the host, was so nice. We hope to come back in the future and if we do, will definitely eat there again!

Good food in what seems like a small town house , owner a little overbearing but we enjoyed it the evening.

An excellent little French restaurant serving country style local produce. Wonderful food, service and surroundings. Lovely to see such an extensive wine list. We will be back.
