Would definitely stay here again. George was a fabulous host, we arrived after 10pm, with local hero John who towed our camper back into town after losing a wheel. Bulls garage right next door were also fantastic getting us up and running again. Never met a nicer bunch of down to earth and accommodating people. They all went out of their way to assist us. Oasis is a great place, amenities and accom is clean and comfortable, plenty of sites and space for caravans too.

Loved our stop here in Coober Pedy. This park is really central to the town, perfect spot. The park itself is a bit different but facilities pretty good. The most modern spacious bathroom which was welcomed, nice big shower cubicles which were amazing, you can get dressed without standing on wet floor!!! The tour with the owner was so fun, we had a bus full and was a great way to see Coober Pedy. Missed the breakaways unfortunately due to road being closed for something to do with the finx racing.

Joined Sunset Tour with the company and it was beyond amazing! George is doing well being tour guide to show us around, and race back by 9pm for a quick drink at the underground pub too! Would definitely recommend!

The motel provided a mixed experience. Initial discomfort with a hot room and squeaky cabin floors, but friendly front desk service. Limited amenities like no exhaust for cooking. The strict gate times enhance security, making it a safe and affordable option for a brief stay.

Oasis Tourist Park offered a decent campsite, segregating tents from camper vans, although the dusty conditions were hard to ignore. The staff's friendliness was a positive note, yet the coin-operated showers felt somewhat inconvenient. Unfortunately, our stay at this site was prolonged unexpectedly due to a blown tire in what we found to be a challenging town. The relentless flies further added to the less-than-ideal experience, making our time there more of a struggle than we had anticipated.

Honestly I wasn't very comfortable at this park. The caravan spots are all very tight, and the amenities while serviceable aren't without their own issues. The older toilet block is old and showing its age. The newer block while very fancy and new has its own faults in terms of how the showers work. The tiling in the new block is done so poorly that the water flows all over the floor and it's almost impossible to dress without getting wet. The wet area in the shower cubicle is basically the whole thing. Signs ask you to not move the shower heads and to mop the floor when done. Better fall on the floor tiling and a shower curtain or some better divider would be helpful. Understandably, Coober Pedy has very expensive water so you have to pay $1 per 7 minutes for a shower. But when the shower is a mess and difficult to use, you kind of feel like you'd happily pay more for the day rate and have better showers and possibly including some water. I won't stay there again, (there are other options in town available) however it is a tidy caravan park that's in a central location and the staff are friendly.
