I stay at Marriott exclusively. I was impressed with the customer service and the location. It was my 1st time staying at this place. It is located right in front of a Sam's Club what more do you need. Easy traveling distance to some State Parks. The breakfast was good and plentiful. I will be staying here anytime I'm in the Cookeville, TN area

Highly recommend. Our first time here and lots of good things to say about this hotel. Easy to find, in a location close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Check in was easy, room was clean, a/c worked, 4 comfy pillows on the bed, sheets were smooth and smelled fresh, area and hotel were quiet, slept like a baby!! Shower had great water pressure, nice smelling shampoo and conditioner, towels were clean and absorbed water!! Great cup of coffee in the morning, breakfast was ok. Try the pre-packaged sausage biscuits with sharp cheddar, they were a pleasant surprise and really tasty, biscuit was like homemade. Would absolutely stay here again!! Sorry for lack of pics we were in a bit of a hurry this trip!

My daughter and three small grandchildren were travelling and needed a stop last minute. Jordan, the worlds best customer service representative at Fairfield helped me correct my bad attempt at online reservation, find a spot for my family during a crazy high volume time, and get everything done with class, courtesy, and complete professionalism. Room was clean, well appointed, and an oasis of happiness on a day of long travel, stress, and "don't make me pull over this car" :) Thank you Fairfield and Jordan for helping us out in a time of need. Very much recommend using this super hotel in the future. Room was very clean and ready for my family. Simple but nice and well stocked. Beds were very soft which is not always the case. Marriott and Fairfield did not disappoint.

Check in fast n easy. Across street from samsclub. Almost weird, but had great view of the cross on the hill. Very clean hotel, warm. Room clean, comfy bed. Indoor pool refreshing. Breakfast was yummy.

One of the poorest Marriots I've stayed at. First, horrible room. Bad smell on entering room, the thinnest bed linen used ( I could even seen the mattress through it), rusted bathroom fixtures, room facing parking despite being Gold status. Next, lackadaisical attitude of staff. Despite informing of issues, didn't pay heed to it. The young lady at the front desk introduced herself as one of the managers. Despite explaining all the issues, she didn't seem to think much of it. Never staying here again.

Absolutely horrible experience. Arrived at 4pm and was told room was not available yet due to maintenance issue. Left to go to my daughters last softball game. Returned around 11pm and was told they didn't have a room for me anymore, because they overbooked. They then tried to find me a room at another hotel that had the same owner and, and went there and they had no idea what was happening. 12:30 I finally got in our room, and they charged me $50 more than my reservation. More importantly of the mistake it was their complete and total ignorance and refusal to make it right. Worst Marriott experience in 15 years.

Pretty average experience for a Fairfield in. I was on a business trip and arrived later in the evening. Left early in the AM so I didn’t stay long. Front desk staff were friendly and the breakfast is consistent with other location. It was pretty quiet as well.

We really didn't know what to expect and were very surprised at how nice this place was. The room was a mini-suite with separate TV and sleeping area. Two tvs. Bathroom was very clean. We immediately recommended it to some friends who will be traveling soon. We will be back when we travel through again. Thank you for such a nice and welcoming stY.

My second time staying here within a couple months. 1st stay was good this one not so much. We had trouble with toilet and door knobs but were given another room so it was inconvenient but not a deal breaker. My daughter recently enrolled at Tech so we'll be in a few times a year for the next 4 yrs atleast. I must say that the lady who is in charge of breakfast service( sorry didn't get her name) was a breath of fresh air! This woman was so pleasant,polite and welcoming that I would stay again just because of her.

I’ve been here twice now and I can count on an odor free clean room. For me this is the most important thing when staying at a hotel. Everything else is secondary. The beds and pillows were nice, although TWICE now the Showtime channels which are supposed to be free will not load. That cost you a star since it’s obviously not something you’re going to get fixed. It is annoying to offer something that you’ve removed!!

Very clean room and bathroom. Front Desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. The whole place is in excellent condition. We would definitely stay here again.

I supriseingly enjoyed my stay! It is a new INN so I was a bit scared. It soared highly over my expectations. The food was good especially the muffins. The staff here are just amazing people and they treated me and my family so well. If you ever need a place to stay on a budget, this is the best place for you!

We have stayed in this hotel multiple times while visiting and we have also had family stay here. We have never had a negative experience, nor have our families.

The stay was great. Ritchie does a great job and is very helpful. He is a very friendly guy and cares about the people who stay at the hotel.

Entire staff was so friendly and accommodating! I wish I could remember all the names, every employee that I came in contact with had a smile and offered assistance. I found out after I returned home , the manager had given me the employee rate for the stay. This was unexpected and so appreciated. Again I wish I could remember her name because thanks to her the trip became a little less stressful:)

I would of given 5 stars except there was no full breakfast served like specified. So my family and I had to go and pay for breakfast somewhere else instead. Hence choosing Fairfield Inn in the first place and paying the extra cost for the stay was for the breakfast included. Felt a little jipped. 🤷‍♀️ Other than that, the stay itself, rooms, front desk person, building were all great.

If I could give a zero I would. We stayed here twice in eight days. The first stay was ok. Bed was fair. Room was clean. Breakfast was horrible (the worst we’ve had at any chain hotel). The second visit the handicap room we were given was absolutely awful. The bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped on forever. We spilled some water and wiped it up and the towel was filthy black. The room smells of mold and mildew. There was no soap little toilet paper. No shampoo or soap in the shower. The air conditioner smelled moldy and had exposed wires coming out of the Bottom of it. The worst was the bed. The mattress was so old it was like sleeping on a taco shell sideways. We tried to book another room at another hotel it was so bad. How two different rooms on the same hotel can be so different is beyond me. Never again will we stay here.

The employees here are a 5, only gave a 4 because I would encourage the owners to remove fragrances in order to accomodate people with disabilities. The night employee did everything he could to make the room usable before he left and the woman who checked us in was an angel as we had an emergency and needed a room with little notice. Please consider fragrance free laundry detergent, no perfumes sprayed in rooms, or in common areas. I was told another guest left that day because she could not handle the fragrances. Room was clean and quiet. Thank you so much for everything you did to help!

The room was really nice and staff was friendly. I only took a star off because the breakfast was pretty subpar when considering the rate of a room. Breakfast is a big consideration for us when we travel and the selection was lacking. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

Nice hotel, quite area, great location. When I walked in I was met by the nicest guy, Richie. Super polite, super nice and friendly. Every time I seen him he had a great big smile on his face. Thanks Richie for making me feel welcome!

My stay was a very short overnight stay. I was greeted by a friendly staff member. My room was clean and ready when I arrived. I appreciated the remote key access. My room was spacious and included all the amenities I needed including nice a microwave and a nice size refrigerator.

Clean, quiet, newer hotel that is close to the highway but far away enough to not get road noise. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was perfect. Quick check-in . Price was cheaper than the TownPlace which was right next door. Not a lot of restaurant options within walking distance, but a lot across the highway.

Very clean, comfortable beds and wonderful staff. The shower was awesome!!! We weren’t able to get a hot breakfast as expected due to staff illness; however, the manager compensated us for the inconvenience. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
