An ice cream parlor straight out of the past. With low prices, scenic location, and great sweet treats? It's the perfect place to get together with friends on a budget. I got a root beer float for $3.50. Elsewhere I'd have to pay $3.50 for just plain root beer!

I bring my 94-year-old Mom here about twice a month. It's expensive, but so worth it! Great waffle cones, crispy like a pizzelle, and awesome ice cream flavors! Mom says its the best ice cream she ever had! Try it - you'll like it!

When I found out we were going to Cookeville I just KNEW we had to stop. And I'm sure glad we did. This place not only has some of the best ice cream I've ever had it also is one of the coolest places I've been to. You can eat your ice cream outside under the giant iconic cream city sign or you can eat inside in the chill atmosphere surrounded by Cookeville history and happy families. This is a MUST-GO place.

I have to say I really love the ice cream it was amazing! Cute place to just sit and chill and watch the fish or throw birthday ice cream party in the back. Love that it's across the street from the old town station where you catch the train and he can still see part of the train

Cream City is a most wonderful walk back in time, like an old time soda shop feeling. Great owners and the staff is awesome. Now the Ice Cream, out of this world taste. Love so many of the flavors, Mexican Chocolate, vanilla, coffee ( actually tastes like a cup of coffee) Cream City is a must stop, if you come visit our Beautiful City of Cookeville Tennessee. If you live here I hope you have been there. I feel this part of town is almost like Mayberry, such small town feeling and the friendliness, of the people. Don't make a difference if they are sitting outside Cream City enjoying an Ice Cream, visiting the small Train Depot right across the street, or sitting outside at a local restaurant having a meal. Someone is going to smile and wave or strike up a conversation. You will never meet a stranger here.

I've heard that this place serves some of the best ice cream in the entire USA and I fully agree with that consensus...this place has a lot of history attached to it as they've been around since 1920 and they have many amazing flavors of ice cream...I personally recommend the chocolate raspberry truffle

We love it here. Very affordable for my family of 6 and they are the only ice-cream shop in town that offer military discounts - so we appreciate that!

Did not disappoint. There are so many options, and I had a hard time choosing. They charge over $6 for a double scoop, but holy moly, the scoops are huge! Wish the Mexican chocolate was more spicy, and beware of the step-down in the middle of the shop.

Adorable little ice cream shop! Why would you go to Baskin-Robbins or Dairy Queen when you could go to this beautiful ice cream parlor? They had a wonderful wide array of flavors, as well as fall-themed hot and cold drinks on offer. I can’t wait to go back!

Kinda a don’t miss place. Old time style with a side of nostalgia. We had a mixed flavor shake, chocolate peanut butter, and a Blackberry Cornbread scoop. Interesting flavors to choose from. All 3 of us agreed it was 5 star. The staff was friendly and awesome as well. The sign alone is worth the stop. And you get the extras of the depot and engine caboose combo with the bicycle arch across the street.

Had the caramel cone ice cream today it was so yummy. I enjoy coming here and trying the many different flavors that cream city offers. And they even give you free samples of anyone that you want to try. Way to go cream city. Definitely will be back.

Wonderful staff and many choices of delicious creamy ice cream. Loaded Butterscotch was one of the best I ever had. Keep up the great work.

Here for a soccer tournament and some of the players wanted to go out to eat and get desserts. Place was nice and had a little room to sit and eat. Didn't need it though because you can head outside and go look at a decommissioned train. Ice Cream was great, but this place had some flavors I haven't seen before. Definitely a nice e place to visit. Employees were very nice and kept the line moving very efficiently. Next time I'm here we will definitely stop again!!

This ice cream tastes wonderful! Smooth and creamy. Lots of flavor choices. Our dogs even had pup cups made just for them with a dog bone on top! You can go inside or order from the sidewalk window.

It's a good stop after strolling around the city. Great tastes. Has varieties. Has both inside and outside seats.

Great ice cream, very scenic, but you want my advice, child? No, it's okay, come closer my boy... Yes... I shall tell you the Cookeville Secret™. You see, they want you to believe that this is the best ice cream, but do not be fooled by the White Man's Tricks... You want good ice cream, you go down to La Michoacana. Best stuff I've ever eaten. Cheaper too.

We have brought all of the ice cream lovers of our family here and everyone has loved the atmosphere and the ice cream! Thankful they have at least 1 non-dairy options for my smallest allergic human.

We stopped by Cookeville on our way back to Michigan. Loved the ice cream, after a day of celebrating my daughter's bday swimming in Burgess falls, this was a great stop to end our day. Definitely a gem in the city.

Praline and cream ice cream was good. Mexican chocolate ice cream rather spicy (cayenne?). Out of a couple flavors. Staff okay, but in the back most of the time. Furniture falling apart.

Awesome ice creamery. I ordered an Affogato cup with 1 vanilla chocolate swirl scoop. It's so yummy, definitely worth the wait in line + you can walk around and window shop with your ice cream. 😎🍦

I don’t just recommend Cream City, I HIGHLY recommend them. Not once have I ever had poor service or bad ice cream. Andrew, Vincent and Courtney are a few to name that are PHENOMENAL! We even see the owners out in town and they are such stand up, nice people. Thank you Cream City!!

This is definitely my family's favorite ice cream shop. Go early and go often because they don't always have all of their best flavors available. You've got to try Superman! It's 3 in 1.
