Difficult, dirt road with many holes to arrive to an astonishing place with a breathtaking lonely beach, amazing lookouts from the cliffs and on to the sea. A must if you are in the area. Just drive carefully if you don't have a 4WD.

The little beach near here is pleasant for a stroll or nude sunbathing. We picked up 2 garbage bags of plastic bottles and flip flops/thongs; to help with the conservation.

Beautiful Cnservation Park. Stunning views. About 15-20 Drive from main road. The road is an unsealed road, but definitely worth the trip. Camping area just before the light house drive. Drive up to the lighthouse is a little steep but if you want the view it's worth it. Beautiful beach with croc signs, so always be on the lookout. The day we visited a group were wind surfing with a dog running around too. I wouldn't recommend taking your dog though.

Absolutely beautiful location a mere 20 minutes from Cooktown. ROADS Its all dirt road, so a 4wd would suit best. The climb to the lighthouse is particularly steep and narrow in parts only suited for one vehicle. VIEWS 360 degree views of the surrounding areas. The sea against the sky makes beautiful photos. BEACHES The reefs are just off the beaches, which I was very surprised by. The beaches are a mix of pebble, coral and sand. AMENITIES There are bins upon entry, but no other amenities appeared present. NOTE Often very windy

Beautiful location. Lots to explore so we need to get back there soon!

Amazing place! Great tracks to many good camping spots. We had a magical night with a clear starry night and lots of fireflies!
