Cozy, and welcome atmosphere. We shared the special breakfast pastry, which blew us both away. The sausage was juicy but not greasy. Highly recommended!

Let’s say you rolled into Mahone Bay on Holiday. There are a lot of great things to do (other than a roller disco, I’m no dancer but I fly on roller skates… I wish we had one of those) But it’s a big universe, and other amenities are further afield. What we DO have is some really amazing hand pies!!!! I love meat pies so very much. When you sink your teeth into one of these savoury pastry pockets you’ll have to stop and wonder…are you dreaming? I see mornings in my future made so much brighter by their breakfast pie. They’ve even got rocket fuel: fancy coffees are yours to explore! A beautifully decorated little shop with pink, grey, blue, and maybe some yellow I can’t remember I was too excited by the pies. You’ll want to stop the train before it hits Lunenberg to savour their delicious wares. They usually close around 3, so you’ll have to take your pies home and warm them up if you want to eat them under the real moon. Eat more pie!

We travelled from Ontario to try their pies when we got there they were sold out. After they heard where we travelled from they offered to fire up the ovens and make us some. We politely declined as we didn’t want to make their work day longer and go to all that trouble for us. They insisted. Wow what amazing customer service! We had the cheeseburger, chicken pot pie and raspberry pies. They were amazing so good. The cheeseburger pie was just like the best cheeseburger you have ever had! I would give them 10 stars!

It was a sunny day and we enjoy our amazing, delicious pies right in their garden on comfy cushions provided! The pies were hot and delicious. Staff was patient and friendly. I'm letting folks know there was a steady crowd of people there for their lunch pies or maybe dinner pies. It was busy! Flavours were so yummy and intriguing with light but super pairings of ingredients. The pastry needs a mention of course as it is perfect, delicate and flaky and melt in your mouthy. We all bought more after our meal to take home and thus extend the yummy experience. It was a win for food and location. And they have a good parking lot. Next door/ attached is an interesting shop, Sprig. This was lovely with pretty and unique items and giftie things with a knowledgeable and friendly owner. We'll be back!

I've had hamburger, chicken pot pie, and ham and cheese. Omg the crust is flaky and just so yum and the fillings are tasty. Next one is the breakfast hand pie! Sounds good. Might take a walk and enjoy my pie and a coffee! Try it!

These savory hand pies are my new favourite things 🤩 I've never been a dessert pie person, but these are magical. It's difficult to tear myself away from personal favourites like the Cheeseburger and Spicy Pork, but I've been enjoying all of the special pies as well. There are sweet pies and cookies too, so something for everyone. The staff is always friendly, the location has a quiet patio out back, and they do custom cakes for those special occasions. At this point I can't drive by Famous Town without picking one up (assuming they aren't already sold out). I suggest you do the same!

Yummy, just really delicious hand held pies! I always pick up a bunch for the family. I highly recommend, the pork pies are my favorite and there are also great vegan and vegetarian options. Also a great historic location

Fantastic little hand pies! Definitely a must visit when in town. Pastry was beautifully flakey, and the fillings were to die for. Great options for meat eaters, and vegans alike!
