Popped in there for a quick lunch at the bar. The setup and information display about the beers on tap is excellent. You know what you're getting and what you're paying. I had the nachos with spicy chicken, and they are hands down the best nachos in the world! Okay maybe not in the whole planet cuz I haven't had nachos everywhere, but they are the best nachos I've ever had in my 50 years. The food was delivered hot and quickly and the bartender was attentive informative and funny. I'd recommend this establishment anyone and I can't wait to go back. The only caveat is that it's up a flight of stairs, so I couldn't take my parents because they both can't navigate stairs. I don't know if there's an elevator for wheelchair access or not.

Battery Park was a pretty cool spot to have a few beers and grab a bite. We sat down on the patio and, even though it was a chilly evening, we enjoyed the atmosphere. We tried several different beers and, we definitely found a couple of favorites. The food was quite tasty, simple but, well executed. Overall, service was also good, a little laid-back but, still responsive so, no complaints!

Love this place! Food is great and love trying all the craft beer they have. Their selection changes now and then but always delicious. Nice and small but very fun and the service is awesome. One hundred percent worth trying for a very tasty meal and refreshing drink!

Erin is a delight ! Gave me all the tourist Intel for peggys cove and Lunenburg. Didn't eat but everything looked and smelled delicious. Tons of beer choices and great diverse menu.

Great downtown Dartmouth location. We arrived on Saturday lunch hour and it was super busy. The service was great 👍 Food was good for the price. We found it was a bit cramped in the small space, and because of this, we found it difficult to converse with others at our table. Overall, I give it 4*

Truly one of the best hangout spots/bars in Downtown Dartmouth. The staff are extremely friendly, the decor panders to a mix of geek cultures in a maximalist and playful way, something both my boyfriend and I really enjoyed, and the atmosphere felt extremely relaxed and comfortable for two easily overstimulated bar-goers, though we were there extremely early in the day. Unfortunately we never had a chance to try the food, but the menu hits all the necessary classics and we hope to be back soon to try some!

Went in here for a late afternoon lunch. The place was packed and had a fun atmosphere. Although the seating is a bit tight the place was very clean and hygienic. Ordered a Fried Chicken and a Mushroom Hoagie along with the Jupiter Cocktail and a Mocktail. The chicken sandwich was fine but we were left a bit disappointed with the Mushroom Hoagie. The fries were good too. The cocktail was excellent. Hope they improve upon the vegetarian/vegan menu but otherwise alright.

Great place for a tasty burger and a pint. The service was great and the draught variety was awesome. The patio had shade options. I hate the sun but my wife loves it so it's great to get an option that makes us both happy. We were there celebrating a birthday. No one came to sing so that made us happy.

What an amazing place! Went for the first time and had the lamb burger and a taster flight of 2 cider and 2 beer. All of their beer and cider are from Nova Scotia. The food and drinks were both delicious, the atmosphere is cool and the staff are friendly and efficient!

Popped in for a snack and bevies prior to Dartmouth Makers Market. Service is great. The fries had great flavor but a little dry, def required dip. Still enjoyable.

Great service and good beer. Lots of choices and the staff is always happy to help with your selection. I like the ambiance too. The menu looks great but haven't eaten there yet. My friends swear by this place for their lamb burgers. Parking is usually easy enough (street parking)

You would never know by the cottage door on the front that within is a serious tap room with great food. I had a flight and the deluxe burger with a green salad which really hit the spot. Please try this spot. They were also doing something right since it was Sunday afternoon and the place was merrily busy. Exercise? I thought you said “extra fries.”

I asked the staff for suggestions on the menu and they did not disappoint! They also recommended a beer that is a great treat for after a meal. The cod tacos are just filling enough, and you can up the fried to spicy fried, which come with an amazing sauce. My husband had the Dartmouth style burger and loved every bite. The music here is also really good. I don't know if they curated a playlist or what, but it's never disjointed and the songs are all either familiar, or sound similar enough that you really don't mind hearing a song you've never heard before.

Great beer selection, not a huge variety on food, but excellent to go with what’s on tap. Excellent staff too!!!

Good place for beer and snacks, lackluster real meals. I had the burger, friends had tacos and the Greek fries. There was a ton of bun and sauce on the burgers, overwhelming any meat flavor. The fried capers were a cool addition to the tacos they looked beautiful and tasted pretty good. Ultimately the food felt a little expensive. The beer selection is great, and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is nice. The service was a tad slow and confused. I think the server might have been new, but everything arrived after a few questions.

4.5 This place has only gotten better over the years. Great staff; great beer; standard prices (reasonable for what it is, not cheap though unless it's your parents' money if you know what I mean); excellent space; good location; good food... Though the food is the weak point in my opinion. It all sounds amazing on the menu, and it usually is very tasty and fair, but little wrenches sometimes get thrown in the works, like a stale top bun on an otherwise scrumptious burger, and other disappointments in the past. All-in-all, it's been a great addition to Downtown Dartmouth, and hopefully they just keep getting better still.

The roof top patio is a great experience and the beer was great. The highlight though was the burger! So fresh and full of flavour with not one flavour over-powering the next.

Ate here twice during a visit to Halifax/Dartmouth and had an excellent experience! Service was friendly and accommodating; especially on my second visit when I was dining alone. The North Brewing beers were great, and there were several other good local taps on offer too. During the sunny weather, there's a nice patio out back. Highly recommended!

Great burgers and beer selection. Enjoyed the Out-n-in Jughead Burger and spicy fries! Is was delightful. Worth a stop!

A cozy pub and a great patio! 20 craft beers on tap plus craft ciders too. Great service. We didn't eat but the food looked amazing and the burger-focused menu has some vegetarian and vegan options which look wonderful. I have posted the menu here as a pic. We can't wait to go back to try the burgers!

Awesome food, beer and atmosphere. The nachos are the absolute best, hands down. Not your average pub nachos- they’re a step above.

Visited today with some friends for drinks and dinner. The atmosphere outside of the patio was really inviting and fun! Our server Jessie was quick to grab our orders, and she was friendly. The fried chicken burger was awesome! Definitely recommend Battery Park to anyone in the area, great spot! Will definitely be back
