The assistant manager made my night. She went above and beyond! I came in totally exhausted, low on blood sugar, and I think I looked quite haggard when I came in, and she made sure I was taken care, gave me free soda, and treated me extremely well. This is one of the reasons I love this place, great customer service and of course the super delish food.

This location wasn't at all busy when I went. The teenage girls working the register were kind of rude. The food is super overpriced and pretty mediocre. The pizza crust is like chewing on drywall and the pizza was super skimpy on the cheese. The garlic cheese bread was undercooked and soggy. The cups and lids are stupid and don't fit each other. The pasta is nothing special- bland noodles covered in greasy sauce.

Very disappointing took Dad to lunch he suggested Davanni's. We ordered pizza the crust was so hard you could not even bite into it. And dad did not want to make fuss. So not happy wasted money.

Had a personal 3 topping thin crust. Fast & friendly service! Pizza was excellent but a little light on toppings. I would definitely come back to try again.

Great pizza!!! I'm usually a fan of thin crust but my family loves this kind of crust. Davannis is the only place around that has the best kind of this crust. We always get pepperoni and onions. Gotta get a side of cheese bread as well. They have the best marinara sauce as well. * I do wish they’d put more cheese especially near the crust as sometimes it is bare (kinda in my pic below)

The turkey sandwiches were a little light on meat, but all of them were delicious. It was a good change of pace, though I personally wouldn't do it that often as pizza from other stores can be had for significantly less per person. I will say the staff was very polite and the online ordering was very simple. Definitely worth trying.

this divanies has the WORST dies coke i have EVER had😡😡 IT tastes like LEMONS NOT COKE!!! when i said my soda was unsatisfactory they told me to LEAVE!!!?? they give me the smallest cup and the most lemon tasting coke EVER!!!!😡😡😡

Generally this Davanni's does excellent work! Unfortunately today they were very busy and unorganized. The manager on duty was obviously overwhelmed and was struggling to speak to customers and employees in a professional manner. I saw my pizza come to the window and was waiting for the hoagie to complete my order. After waiting for 10-12 minutes I asked what we were waiting for to complete my order. The young man turned around looked at the receipt on my pizza and made a comment to the person putting orders together and that person went in back and was able to get my hoagie right away. When my order was handed to me I commented on the amount of time my pizza had spent in the window and I was told "no this pizza just came out". Needless to say my pizza was cold when I got home and it was also under cooked, no one like a soggy, doughy crust.

Girl on the phone was rude and said we couldn’t order over the phone because they don’t take orders after 9:15PM. I told her my brother would be there in a few minutes. She was mad when he got there because he actually came in. She was also rude to customers that walked in after who tried to order. They walked in at 9:29 and she said it was 9:30 on her clock. When they said they wanted to complain, she told them to call the corporate office. Very disappointing customer service.

Had a very frustrating & annoying pick up experience. Watched my salad sit on my pizza for 25 minutes as I waited for my 6pc wing to be made. The wings were placed on the rack below the pizza and sat there another 5 minutes until I asked for the 3rd time about my order. I’d stay away from takeout orders on Friday/Saturday nights. Pizza is cold and salad not great. But hey, the wings are fresh.

Stopped in and we ordered a build your own calzone, and a hot hoagie. Staff was friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. Would recommend the white sauce, black pepper and garlic, it was delicious!

Dessert was delicious. Atmosphere was good. Liked the decor.

Called to order for take out and I asked about specials, the employee stated I could check there website. Ok so that means you don't know your own specials? I hung up..

Love, love, love the Hot Turkey hoagies. My dad got me so addicted to them. He started taking me there, I wanna say and believe back in the mid to late 80's on Sunday when I would stay on the weekends

Never heard of this place. Would have never even tried it but it was what was offered for lunch when I was in orientation. Tried the Cuban hoagie the first day, very tasty. Had the pastrami the second, also very good. I'll be back, I'll definetly be looking forward to trying other stuff.

Everytime I order here, they never pay attention to detail. I ask for extra tomatoes and onions on my hoagie, but I end up getting a total of two tomato slices and maybe 2-3 pieces of onion. Until this gets fixed, this will be the last time I order from this location.

When someone asks for light cheese on their pizza it should actuallybe light cheese. I had so much cheese on my pizza tonight I pulled over 1/2 of it off. Gross

Best hot roast beef hoagie & garlic toast, friendly service

This was our first time buying here. A friend recommended trying their Hoagie. We bought their mac & cheese and Hoagie. Thry made a mistake and gave us their lasagna instead. So we had to call and reorder. When we arrive the woman at the counter knew my friend's name right away and apologized for the error. They also gave a $15 coupon off next order. I think they have excellent customer service. They've won new customers over and I will highly recommend to friends. Our new fave pizza place.

My husband and I tried Davannis for the first time on a Friday night because we had a $20 gift card. It was crazy busy. We were greeted by a kid with hair in his face and blank stares and we could barley understand him. We realize that a lot of youth work here, but this kid needs some coaching on greeting, smiling, and welcoming customers with a little more personality and assertiveness. But he's a kid so we understand. Lol We were surprised that Davannis wasn't a sit-down type experience. It's more of a to-go place. Grab your food at the counter. They give you a buzzer when your food is ready and you pick it up at the counter. Not the worst, just unexpected on our part. Overall, the food was mediocre. The cheese bread was hoagie bread cut in half with a little cheese and garlic and not a lot of flavor. Next to no cheese! I wish I took a picture because it was trult disappointing. I ordered a BBQ Chicken solo which had onions and I hate onions. I couldn't eat it. My husband's meat pizza was pretty good though and the crust was very good if you like a thick flavorful crust...which I do! Although, the pizzas barely had any cheese and the lack of toppings was truly disappointing. It's not what we expected. We really compare pizzas to our favorite which is Chanticlear. I witnessed an episode last night where a guy was irate due to the employees somehow didn't get his order in after he had been waiting a long time. It's Friday night. They are crazy busy! Mistakes happen. The lady behind the counter took it his cussing and berating like a champ! She was sorry and offered him some free food which he refused, but she was busy and tried her best to expedite his order. Nothing she did/said was making this guy happy, but she handled it so well. Kudos to her! These types of underpaid and underappreciated jobs are our frontline workers and they need to be treated with respect even when they make mistakes. This guy (customer) was a total jerk and the employee was professional and was truly sorry. This stuff happens and customers need to be more empathetic and understanding of their busy Friday night at a pizza place. Great job to the staff here. I think we stick to our regular pizza that gets delivered. We probably won't be back due to the mediocre food, but the chic behind the counter made my night. She rocked at her job and handling angry customers. Her positive attitude was contagious! Way to go! Kudos! Keep up the outstanding work!

It's surprisingly good. Sharing one large deep dish pizza feeds three people for $25. Even my teenager (eats like a garbage disposal) was full.

The quality of the food has become worse and worse. Ordered penne with sausage and cheese bread. Received penne in sauce no meat and soggy bread with little to no cheese. Customer service had no care to receiver me the correct items and I got $14 back on a $40 meal!

won't deliver if needing change for 100 on a 50 dollar order unrealistic with comodaties and prices now a days .. business should have to, especially upon request have to make change for legal tender, on any denomination of bills especially when needing to break a 100.. you have sadly lost my business

Davanni's first timer. Overall walking into the place, staff does greet you right away. You order your food at the register and pay. You are then given a pager of when the food is ready for which you will go back up to the front and pick up the food back to your sitting area. We were a group of 4. Ordered the wings, 4 flavors to them. Plain, buffalo,bbq, and secret weapon. We went with the buffalo. Good selection for pizza here. Decided on the deep dish with the works and 4 breadsticks. You can have the wings and breadsticks before the pizza or have them come out together. We had the wings and breadstick out before. The breadsticks were mediocre and pizza was ok as well. With the pizza I could not tell if I was eating store bought pizza or resturant quality. The bread was baked a little longer than my liking as it was on the hard and crispy side. Every time I bit into it with the toppings and there were plenty as they are generous with the toppings, all I was tasting was the bread and it was bland. Too much dough, because it was deep dish?..not sure on this. We ordered a medium which was 8 slices, the cuts were not proportinate as some slices were bigger then others. The wait was about half an hour for the pizza to come out. Pizza and breadsticks were a little dissapointing but the silver lining is the wings. My first bite was terrific. Each and every bite was met with consistency. Given the wings are smaller then what your use to if you have been to Buffalo Wild Wings or Dominoes, but Davanni's is better then both by far. It is cooked just right and you dont get the chewy skin like Bdubs and Dominoes. If you are a fan of wings, this is a must try. The wings are on point.

Was told 20 minutes when I ordered. When I got there part of my order was not ready. I was told 5 minutes for the lasagna I ordered. Finally got my food 25 minutes later. It was all cold because of sitting under the heat lamp. The front cashier seemed to be having problems taking orders and getting orders out to customers. I told him I probably won't be back. This Coon Rapids Davannis has been going down hill.

My wife ordered a caesar salad with chicken. What she got was a bowl of lettuce with cheese and a packet of dressing for $9. There was no chicken. When she asked for chicken, they gave her a bowl of chicken on the side. Another person with us ordered the entre penne pasta. The plate was half full.

Super disappointed in the pasta with red sauce and sausage. Barely any sauce and a few tidbits of what i believe to be pizza sausage (not what it used to be.). Editing review. I called the following day to express my disappointment, and the manager was incredibly understanding and helpful and most importantly honest about the situation. I was also sent a coupon in the mail to make up for it. We are using it tonight so hopefully the experience will be better.

I ordered food for delivery home today for dinner for my family. As a result the food was not up to standards and the medium pizza looked like it had been dropped soon after being cooked (refer to picture). They did refund the money for the medium pizza but did not seem apologetic at the fact that this happened. Davanni delivery/ take out has always been a special treat to do with the family to relax and watch a movie together while having a decent meal.

Ordered for curbside pickup on Saturday night - pizza and cheese bread were perfectly done! I also had a gift card activation issue but I e-mailed corporate and they promptly apologized and took care of it - great customer service!

I had a gluten free 10" white sauce pizza with mozzarella cheese,spinach,mushrooms and pineapple topping.The pizza had a perfect balance of juicy and crispness. For an extra kick I added some red pepper flakes. It was simply delicious. My partner had a deep dish pink sauce pizza with hamburger and pepperoni. He says it was delicious and wished he had added mushrooms and onions for extra flavor. I would have had more toppings but they are a little spendy. Overall the service was great, wait time 15-20min, for convenience the have a delivery or call to order and pick-up.

Even though we are in a time of uncertainty they still strive for an awesome meal at a decent price. Davanni's has always had great food and always will. Pizzas are second to none as well as their hoagies. A great value no matter what day of the week.
