I needed some Authentic Cuban food and Havana's didn't disappoint. My local friend took me here and everything was excellent. Had the beefsteak milinessa, tostones, white rice and beans. Everything was fresh, and cooked to order. Dranka mojito which was fresh and tasty. Definitely give this place a try

Food is unreal, never tried Cuban food and am floored with the incredible dishes thus far. 2 visits and both times it was absolutely delish. Had a tres letche (3 milk dessert) that is ridiculously delish in its simplicity and flavors!! Go try it and reward your soul cause this food sticks to it! The service staff is perfect, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Being a maine guy with zero spanish skills, i was able to get exactly what i wanted easily as my server was fluent in english and her native kanguage. If there was 10* i would give it cause this family run business is exceptional. Oh, prices are super low and huge portions!! Pics of both visits main dishes!

I was excited to visit Havana’s Cuban cuisine because I moved to Washington state from Davie 3 years ago. When I lived in FL, I use to visit this restaurant every week and loved it. I came on this past Tuesday & I ordered my usual order. The steak was so thin-my fork was thicker. I couldn’t even taste the meat. It was such a disappointment & waste of money.

It was too expensive and not that good . I'm fom orlando. I was expecting better cuban food down here 😔 I ask for a vaca Frita but looks more like Carne hervida o sancochada en agua y muy falta de sazon

I personally love this place, have been eating here for 7 years. I called in to place a order and the lady taking the order had a horrible attitude and was belittling the orders I placed. I called back within minutes and canceled my order and she laughed after I canceled. I am a small business owner of 8 years and I have never ever left someone a bad review. This was one of the most pathetic and worst customer service issues I have ever came across in my life. I will never eat nor recommended this establishment again like I have for many years.

Love the food there. My wife had the grilled snapper. Very delicious. And the Palomilla steak is always my favorite with rice and beans.

Something has changed here.. this used to be a good restaurant but not anymore. Rice isn’t cooked fully and tastes reheated and old, meat tastes old, portions are ridiculous as you can see how much rice compared to the fries they gave. I do not recommend this restaurant anymore unfortunately. Will drive farther for better food. When I called the restroom to let them know about the issues I was told it’s the same rice everyone gets in the restaurant and no one complained other then me. I guess my family - party of 4 - just doesn’t like their rice and how it’s cooked. They also increased their prices a lot.

Happened to be driving by this place on my way home from work, and ended up stopping in for takeout. I really wanted a Cuban sandwich and a cafe con leche. The place was very nice and clean on the inside. The staff was extremely nice, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I enjoyed the sandwich and the coffee, and I would definitely go back. I drive by this place often, and I'm actually surprised I haven't stopped in before. I'm interested to try other things on their menu.

We've been dining at this joint for years.. and I have to say it never disappoints.. anything on their menu is phenomenal.. from their appetizers , to main entrées to their amazing deserts! The staff is great. Manager Santiago very on top of everything to give an exceptional dine in experience! Even through the worse times like now, they are totally great.. If you are looking for great cuban cuisine take a shot at this place.. i promise you will not be disappointed! Try their green plantain cups stuffed with shrimp in creole sauce as an appetizer, their Churrasco for main course and rolling eyes in the back of your head coconut flan!! We enjoy eating out. Last night we found this fine restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful time there with excellent dishes and a professional crew and a talented cook. We added this venue in our list and we shall certainly go again soon. We warmly recommend.

I had never been here before it was very homely felt like a family friendly restaurant. I ordered the Cuban sandwich my only request for my next visit is that the chef add more or bigger slices of pickles the Cuban sandwich needs that kick of flavor. Other than that great recommendation

Absolutely loved the tamale. I would have ordered a ceviche as well but to be honest the woman at the counter was very rude to me when I asked her what type of ceviche they had. The ceviche is off menu, and was suggested by a friend. The hostess looked at me crazy for asking what type it was as if there's only one type of ceviche in the world. if I wasn't so hungry I would have left.

We ordered from Havana's for the first time last week. We tried the tamal, sopa de pollo, milanesa, and ropa vieja. Aside from the soup, which was flavorful, the rest of the food was just average. We normally eat Cuban food at Casavana in Miami Lakes and I kept finding myself comparing the flavors, portions, and quality to their food. The milanesa was overcooked and the ropa vieja was chewy. Havana's came highly recommended by a few people, so I was surprised the food missed the mark. I would try it again because maybe the chef was having an off night, but I'm not in a hurry to do so.

I ordered food from the restaurant through postmates. Upon entering the store,I was happy to see the employees wearing face mask. I was given a big portion of food that was very delicious. The food was also ready within 15 minutes and I spent less then minute in the restaurant. I would highly recommend this establishment. Why I did I visit this restaurant knowing how bad it is. Beginning with false advertisement from online menu, to bad food, along side with mediocre service. My husband and I have visited this place before in three different occasions. 1st time visiting the restaurant we were new to the area and were very tired from a long trip so mediocre food didn't matter, BUT WE KNEW IT WAS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO EAT. 2nd time my husband was sick and since it's right behind my house I figured to go back there and get a quick chicken soup and perhaps some meal for me and my two-year-old. We called in advance to order a take out. We had a exactly budget and were surprised when the meal end up being $15 difference, making it over our budget. Believe me between 3 family members and in an Expensive Mediocre restaurant, it makes a difference when you're paying $80 for a takeout. The manager claimed that the website had outdated pricing, So even though we brought the exact amount we assumed and we also showed the manager online the pricing that it claimed the restaurant would charge us , the manager still insisted that we had to pay new prices. Buyer beware! May I say that at the end, my husband was threatened by the manager to be thrown out of the restaurant or pay the bill so I had to come in and calm down the situation and pay the difference of $15. Believe me I remember the difference because I meant to write a bad review then but it's just not my thing to do. When you're sick and under budget the difference of $15 plus treated with such disrespect it makes an impression 2 remember not to go there again . I promised myself never return there again and what do you know I went there tonight. Tonight once again, I paid $60 between myself and a two-year-old. I had one domestic beer, a churrasco and a chicken soup for my 2 yr. old daughter. When the soup was served it was lukewarm so I immediately served it to my daughter. Meaning that if you're an adult and you like warm soup as most soup supposed to be, this chicken soup served tonight was considered cold enough for two year old to eat for a parent not to worry about their child getting burnt. My meal was good I could say although, I did notice that the soup wasn't a full Bowl size. In fact my daughter took a couple sips and I took the rest of it home in the to-go container. The Soup measured out to be less than 1/4 full in the container. I could go on about my experience at this restaurant, not including the check ordeal......but I'll keep it short LOL. If you don't mind paying the Expensive Price with Overly Salted meal; then I recommend you to go Waste your Time and Money.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to with my family. Food is very flavorful and great portions. The only time I have had an issue with my meal, it was quickly taken care of with kindness. No restaurant is 100% perfect and never makes mistakes. Its how they treat the mistake that matters. Staff is always quick and nice. Atmosphere is comfortable. Affordable. If you have something bad to say about this place, or judge it harshly based off of a to go order... you are delusional.

My girlfriend and I placed an order for delivery today, and apparently somebody took the order. Upon calling, they informed my girlfriend they will not be sending the food and will just be giving a refund. She called me to inform me of this, and upon calling, I was told the same thing. It’s insane that a mistake on their end has resulted in us not getting food. I’ve never heard of a restaurant having a system where if a customers food is taken, they just give up on the customer and send a refund. Terrible.

Amazing food, the flavors really pop with every bite! My waiter was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, “montuno havenero” was the BOMB, I ate half of it and was stuffed! The portions are good, prices are reasonable, not to expensive but not to cheap. If you like sweet things get the smoothies they are like concentrated flavor clenches ever sip.

The fries look like they had been sitting there and were full of Grease. The sandwich very greasy as well.We were told to order would not be done for 25 minutes. I've been living in south Florida my whole life and have eaten at all the cliché Cuban spots along with tons of small hidden gems throughout Miami. Havana's is not only far and away the best Cuban food I've gotten, it is some of the best food period that I've eaten. Their attention to detail and quality is second to none. All of the fish dishes are out of this world, super fresh and very reasonably priced. My go to is the Ropa Vieja, its hard not to order, it's one of the best sauces I've had in any dish. The lechon is incredible, you can taste the mojo and they go the extra mile to crisp the pork up before serving, thats something you never get at the other Cuban spots. The black beans are super flavorful and to be honest there's not a bad thing on the menu.

First time visit....amazing food! I've driven by this place for years, but just today, I decided to order from them. I was not sure what to expect but they had me at hello....the friendlies guy took my order, no problems, took me two hours to get there, no problem, food was waiting for me behind, the counter, no problem. Paid in minutes, to a friendly & smiling cashier. I could not wait to get home since it smelled so good even while still in the bag! The complete meal was so delicious, cooked to perfection and great portion too! I will be back again, and real soon, like tomorrow!!!

My numerous dining times at Havana's are always 5 stars. Never anything but truly great Cuban food and wonderful service. The owner keeps his eye on things as he greets every customer as they enter. The red or white sangria is a pitcher of delicious fruit and wine. An all time favorite of mine is the the catch of the day grilled or sautéed and covered with a light, fantastic sauce of crushed, tomatoes, diced onions and capers, accompanied by my choice of sides, black beans, rice, and plantains. My husband always loves the meat dishes. No matter what your palate enjoys, you will find something you will crave to have again...and again. A little pricey, but generous portions and well worth it.
