My husband and I recently stayed at The Railroad Inn while visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and thoroughly enjoy our stay. Both staff members we interacted with were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The complimentary snacks and beverages provided in the lobby were abundant and varied. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and quiet with a super comfortable bed. We both commented that we wished we had planned to stay at least one or two more nights there as the town has a lot to offer and The Railroad Inn was one of the favorite places we stayed over the course of our two-week trip.

Very helpful, welcoming staff. They gave us excellent recommendations on dinners. Everything was very clean and easy to manage. We appreciated the friendly atmosphere the team generated among the other guests. Location was really convenient to all things Cooperstown. Would absolutely choose it again!

My husband and I stayed at the Railroad Inn during the Christmas holiday and we could have not picked a better place in Cooperstown to stay! It had the quaint feeling of a bed and breakfast, while having all the modern amenities you could ask for. James and Rilee couldn’t have been more welcoming and kind. We can’t wait to stay there again on our next visit!

Hotel was very cute and clean! Our rooms were nice and cozy, the bathrooms were nice and updated. Checked in late at night and had no problems. They also have a snack and breakfast bar which was great. Very close to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

This is a great place. Our family of 5 stayed in loft, which had a king bed, queen bed, and bunkbed. Everybody was very comfortable and had plenty of space. The rooms and common areas are very nicely appointed and very clean. The staff was friendly, engaging, helpful, and informative. We all would very highly recommend this to anyone.

We stayed last week and had a wonderful experience. There was some trouble with the AC initially but after talking to the young lady at the front desk it was taken care of quickly and she even phoned the room to make sure. Beds super comfy, roomy bathroom although water pressure not the greatest. We didn't eat breakfast there but it was nice to have snacks and drinks [bottled water, coffee] available all day. We would absolutely stay there again.

For the past two years we have stayed in this charming newly renovated hotel . Every summer my travel baseball team plays a week long tournament at dreams park and the staff at this hotel accommodates all the families of the kids(13). The rooms are immaculate, the staff is always welcoming and the grounds are flawlessly maintained. We have all stayed in other local hotels in the past and since staying at the Railroad Inn we would not stay anywhere else. Thank you for making our week long stay AMAZING 🙏. Love this place !

We enjoyed our stay at the Railroad Inn. It is located very close to Main St in Cooperstown. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had trouble with our lock, but it was addressed right away. It was a nice perk to have so many snacks and drinks available for free in the lobby.

The Railroad Inn was great. I highly recommend staying here. It was quaint, clean and the staff were super nice and accommodating. It was a perfect location to walk to downtown Cooperstown. They provide 24/7 snacks and water in the lobby area. You won’t go wrong with staying here.

Lib and I always reserve a room at The Railroad Inn when we come to Cooperstown to celebrate our anniversary. This year was our 61st anniversary. The Railroad Inn offers us the very best in accommodations. Perfect room decor. (Just view The Inn's selection of rooms.) Vending machines? No way! Anytime you desire a treat you walk to the lobby select something to drink and/or snack. (No cost.) The staff is outstanding. They see to it that my wife's flowers and gifts are awaiting her when we arrive. Thanks James! The owner recalls our previous stays. Even asked about my writings. It is quiet! Away from the beaten path but still just a short easy walk to Main St. As usual their guest quickly becomes friends as the Inn offers multiple sitting areas. Guys and gals, the Inn even has picnic area to cook on their grill. Parking is never an issue. Multiple entries close to one's room. Just sit and view all the effort that went into restoring this historic site by converting it into an outstanding place to stay. If you wish to stay at the very best Cooperstown has to offer, look no further, you've found the place-The Railroad Inn. Craig and Lib

The Railroad Inn was so beautiful and quiet. Rooms were super clean and spacious. The town was in walking distance and was well kept. The staff went above and beyond during our stay and made sure we felt like we were home. If you are thinking about going to the Baseball Hall of Fame I HIGHLY recommend the Railroad Inn.

The Railroad Inn is the ideal place to stay in Cooperstown. Great service, very comfortable beds, well appointed, clean rooms. The coffee and continental breakfast located in the lobby are delicious! They have a lovely outdoor area with grills, picnic tables, horse shoes and bocce ball next to a picturesque creek! Perfectly located, you can easily walk to the village of Cooperstown. Check this place out!

This place was perfect. Amazing value. Rooms were updated and modern but still cozy. Lots of space, and our room had a little private patio. Chairs, picnic tables and bocce available in the yard outside. They had a 24 hour station set up with tea and coffee maker, all sorts of grab n go snacks and a fridge full of water bottles at no additional charge. For me this was better than a continental breakfast for sure! It was a quick 10 minute walk into town along the quaint residential streets. All in all we were pleasantly surprised by both Cooperstown and the Railroad Inn. Highly recommend!

Love this hotel! Excellent staff, walking distance to the Main Street & Doubleday Field. Rooms are extremely nice and clean! Complimentary snacks 24/7 in the lobby was the best part! Wish there was a coffee maker in the room, but there was some in the lobby in the mornings. Will definitely be staying there again.

Stayed here on a short trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame and highly recommend! The room was a nice size, very clean, updated and had a small balcony. Staff was super friendly. The lobby had fruit, snacks and coffee all day and a decent breakfast selection (cereal, oatmeal, bagels). This hotel is literally an easy 7 minute walk to the HoF and main street shops.
