We stopped by here for dinner - they were open till 9 and we were craving something other than the fish & chips restaurants. Definitely glad we did - they have such an array of Asian cuisine. We were feeling the sushi and they serve it fresh. You can get Beef Pho Noodle Soup, Bento Boxes and Chinese stir-fry here, too. They have specials on weekdays! Monday’s is a Chicken Teriyaki bowl for $7. Tuesday, California roll (8 pieces) for $5. Wednesday, Spicy Pork Bowl for $7. Thursday, Chicken Katsu with steamed rice and cabbage salad for $8. Mindy was our waitress and was so friendly. It’s a family restaurant and you feel comfortable being in their hands. We got a sushi sampler that came with all sorts of fresh fish and a Cali roll in the center. The rainbow roll we got was huge and satisfying. We also got a sashimi sampler that came with a generous amount of 2 slices each - yellow tail, salmon and tuna for $8. Good selection of Asian imported beer, wine, sake and plum wine. I got the Chardonnay and it was a creeper - light and sweet and I felt wonderful after dinner with one glass, $5. Matt got a large Asahi beer for around $7. Fortune cookies given with the check 🤗🥠 It’s busy around dinner time but clears up by 8PM. Free parking on the streets.

The bulgogi bowl was fantastic, and the sushi roll my wife got was something I hope she orders again and gives me the leftovers. 😄 This place had instantly become one of our favorite restaurants in Coos Bay. We'll definitely be back

The service here was amazing I've never been to a sushi place that can get their rolls out so quickly and still looks and tastes fantastic. There are options for everyone especially picky eaters like my husband lol. This is a new favorite for sure and I can't wait to visit again!

Was craving good poke, so thought I'd give theirs a try -- having been disappointed at the price and size of the poke bowl at Tokyo Bistro. Well, it was a "pretty" looking mound 😂 but... meh, kind of mediocre, for the price. Too much mayonnaise -based dressing, for one -- and the fish chunks were TINY 😢 (like, are you using your leftover bits of fish for your poke salads?). Sigh. Seaweed was decent but couldn't taste it through the mayo. Miso soup was "okay" but very salty. Their other entrees might be better?

Customer service is AWFUL here! They messed up my order then argued we have to contact "door dash". The problem is, my husband picked up the order and door dash was NEVER involved. Nothing in my app purchases. This bums me out because the food was great, but I won't be treated badly for a simple mistake that could have EASILY been resolved with replacing the food (and yes, my husband brought the untouched food back to them). We will not be going back. Great food tastes like garbage in such environments

Our favorite "Asian" food spot in Coos Bay. The pho is good. Sushi rolls are AMAZING! We've had tons of stuff on their menu and the Poke Salad is among the best poke I've had off the island.

Fried in Old Oil. Honestly, this restaurant has been going downhill for quite some time. We went in on Monday Nov 21, 2022. We had 3 sushi rolls and one of the combination dinners with teryaki chicken, and fried egg roll. The egg roll wasn't just bad, it was downright gross, it was cooked in old oil and then reheated. When I bit into it, nasty old oil dripped down my face and onto my shirt. For a $75 dollar meal, I really think they could have fried the spring rolls when ordered. The sushi wasn't bad but it wasn't great and in my opinion, overpriced. I truly feel this restaurant is not worth your time or money, the food is really bad and the prices are really high.

I really love the food here they give you a lot of food.. It is a little expensive but it's worth it.. Good quality food you get a lot of meat. I love the fried rice. It has so many different meats and vegetables.. This is a family owned restaurant. The family takes pride in their food and their restaurant. They are very good to their customers. This restaurant is really small.. This is a kid friendly restaurant. The staff is friendly and kind. I will continue coming here Every time We go to Coos Bay. You should really try the teriyaki chicken. It is delicious.. This restaurant is clean and tidy and organized.

the fried rice contains pork! the last time i ordered from here the server told me the fried rice was vegetarian so i felt safe ordering the vegetable (vegetarian) teriyaki bowl with fried rice. today after eating some of it i noticed there was pieces of pork in it. nowhere on the menu does it say that the fried rice contains any meat. i asked them if the vegetable bowl was vegetarian and they said yes and we’re confused until one of the cooks said the fried rice has pork. i told them i am a vegetarian and i would not being eating the rest of the bowl and that i did not have time for them to make a new one. despite all this i still had to ask for them to take it off my check since i had only had a few bites. pretty disappointed with my experience today :(

I have been going to this place since I was a kid. For over two decades, the food here has remained consistently impressive. I have tried just about everything on their menu, and it is all delicious. The seating is cozy but comfortable. They also have a large private area that can be reserved for events and family get-togethers.

Yummy tempura banana & green tea ice cream desert topped off a good lunch special. Good service and an variety of options make it a place I want to return to. Too bad I'm just visiting. In town for a few days and remembered my previous visit 2 years ago and stopped by again for lunch. Happy I did, had a delicious role and udon soup.

I had the bolgogi bento box, and the fried rice was just okay kind of dry. I should have asked for steamed rice. The seaweed salad was great.

Some people recommended this restaurant to me, I went there to ordered Tempura and sashimi platter, tempura sauce was different, then I realized it's some kinda style japanese food. It's okay to try the difference. I don't recommend sashimi platter...

Cheap sushi with quality still intact. This place has a great deal on specialty rolls because it includes 2 pieces of nigiri with the roll. Each roll is between 12 to 14 bucks which is average. I tried their chef special and was disappointed... There was a wide variety but not the best deal with a low quantity of fish. The California roll was a low end filler. Atmosphere was a little cramped but cozy. I have high expectations for something that says chef's choice and since I dont get to choose all my fish it better be fantastic. So if you go here... Stick to the rolls.

California roll pretty good but I am pretty sure that my chicken was not OK. I took one bite and it tasted like it was starting to go bad... fried rice had a flat flavor and very greasy. Egg roll was gross. Waitress was great

Food is good. Our customer experience was pretty darned poor. 3 things we had to ask the lady twice for. The table is sticky and icky even after asking for a clean rag and having to wash it again ourselves. Overall, pretty disappointed except for the great tasting food

This place is always busy. Lot of take out orders and seating is limited, but if you're lucky enough to walk right in and get seated the service is fast. Food is Korean with splashes of Japanese sushi. I always order bento box with side of kimchi. YUm!

Husband is obsessed with the spicy seafood soup. He got it today and it's been 20 years since he had it considering we don't live in the area anymore. It incredible! Thank you!
