Very nice park and facilities. Visited as part of a community 4k race and enjoyed it.

Absolutely beautiful little park. Clean and well cared for however the water area itself could use a filter in the wonderful fountain system they have. It would make that water so much more delightful for people and animals alike. Little bridge and sitting areas lots of places to take pictures absolutely beautiful.

We loved this park. It's a great place for a walk. Very beautiful. It could use a little more upkeep, and have the water ways and streams cleaned out; maybe a "community clean-up day" would be a great way to liven up the park a little. Either way we love it here.

Quite surprised by the beauty of this park being in a small rural town. It's much more beautiful than most big city parks.

A beautiful city park and a great place for a peaceful walk in a lovely part of town. We met some nice people along our walk. There were benches and seating spots along the path. Great place to bird watch too. The parking lot where we parked is across the street and people drive too fast up and down that road so be careful

Always love Mingus park! It is a must whenever we go to Coos Bay! Absolutely beautiful and very spacious as well. Even if there are a bunch of people there you can still find your own space in the crowd. We did have a hard time finding bathrooms here. It looks like they shut down all the actual bathrooms and have put up porta potties throughout the park. Still a beautiful place and an enjoyable stop.

One of my favorite parks! Very beautiful and a great place to walk! Lots of beautiful scenery and benches to sit and enjoy your surroundings. This park also has a nice little play area. However the play area in the far corner seems very neglected and always wet/muddy. Everything else is wonderful though.

Urban park with paved and unpaved paths. Great waterfowl in the pond, Japanese garden, and small forest to wander through.

When I go to Mingus Park, it is to the pool. However, the park is always peaceful and serene. People are allowed to bring pets, so long as they are on a leash. I didn't notice many picnic tables, but there are benches aling the way.

There’s a paved trail around the pond with lots of ducks, cute tranquil Asian inspired bamboo garden with the pretty red bridge. Surrounding the park is forest areas with many dirt trails, looks like some dirt bike trails too. I took a jog through the mix of the forest dirt trails and around the pond. Very clean and nice and lots of lush plant life:)

Beautiful park to visit! The playground was a bit run down but the gardens and landscape made up for it! The wooden pathways and bamboo forest were neat! You cross over a few bridges. The wildlife was plentiful and the pond was pretty to see with all the lily flowers and fountains. Not sure about the condition of the bathrooms.

My kids and I love coming here. Not only is it beautiful but there's always something to do. Whether feeding the ducks, enjoying the gardens, or playing at the park were always entertained. I personally have been going there since I was a kid so it's amazing my children can experience it as well...despite the Changes to the place. One thing though the bathrooms are beyond ridiculous as they are vandalized, broken, and not maintained. My daughter was not comfortable using them and I couldn't blame her. It's kinda scary. Definitely need to work on otherwise it's a great place for the family.

What a beautiful place. Saturday's venue to honor the First Responders with several bands was fantastic. Very well organized. I really enjoyed listening to the music and just relaxing in the beauty of the surroundings.
