Yes no doubt it is expensive but there’s a clear reason why it’s the best restaurant in the world. Flavours for the dishes are very complex and well balanced. Creative presentations. Beyond excellent service. Wine pairing was exquisite - love that they’re mostly natural wines and they just keep on pouring and pouring… 👌🏼 I hope you also get a private kitchen tour at the end! Overall an unforgettable experience. (Went for their 2022 Ocean Season)

This has shown me that the other Michelin 3 stars I've been to are, in fact, not very good. I don't really like seafood, and we had the seafood menu here. Noma is now my favorite seafood restaurant. Everything was richly flavored, complex, and presented beautifully. The only dish we thought was a slight miss was the apple oyster - everything else was simply flawless. The casual environment, big windows, and outdoor garden all added to the experience. I'm always skeptical of anything claiming to be "the best in the world", but perhaps that's not so much of a stretch here...

To put it simply, it’s an incredible experience. The service is impeccable and we loved being able to watch the staff prepare the food so visibly. Juice pairings are better than the wine pairings, but depending on how strong your stomach is, you may want to just order by the glass. We also put in word about celebrating birthdays and the staff were able to add in a small addition at the end. I would highly recommend to try Noma at least once. Yes it’s a hefty price but if you happen to get a reservation (a bit easier due to travel restrictions and less tourists these days), definitely check it out.

Had a lovely time at Noma. The experience and food were great. Personally, I wasn’t mind blown on any of the dishes but I will say they were executed exceptionally well. Maybe it was the menu/season that also played a factor. Overall glad I was able to experience this place once before they evolve into their next venture.

Noma. The best restaurant in the world 2021. Every foodie should experience Noma at least once in their lives. It is remarkable. We went during the Game and Forest season so everything is themed accordingly. The Game and Forest season consisted of 16 servings with a few differences from a "normal" tasting menu. 1. No snacks. Generally a long tasting menu starts with a few smaller servings and a glass of champagne. Not here. You choose "wine or juice" and then you are off to the races with the first course. 2. No bread serving. This seemed like a bit of a bummer since bread in these kinds of restaurants is always perfect. However, I often eat way too much of it and you really didn't need it with 16 servings. Every dish had a beautiful presentation and the pacing of the meal was excellent. The food is a bit more experimental than I am used to so there were a couple of servings that were more interesting than excellent. The reindeer brain custard for example was a weird thing to eat but not something that I enjoyed for the taste. Others were both interesting and top notch like the dumpling with bear caramel. A few were merely superb like the wild duck. The service is friendly, as always in these places, but there were a few mistakes. We were served the wrong dish once and the final dessert twice. I've read in other reviews that this is not uncommon. No biggy of course but I had to mention it. My wife is allergic to a few things and her dishes were completely replaced as a result. Generally they simply replace the ingredient but our waitress explained that they would rather serve her something else than mess with the dish itself. She was served a few dishes which were obviously from the previous vegetable season. No complaints there since those dishes were great as well. All in all Noma is a stellar restaurant and I will definitely be back for the vegetable season. However, I would not recommend Noma for your first time eating a tasting menu in a Michelin star restaurant. You should go here to experience something unique.

The location is great, the staff is extremely well prepared and the experience blows you away as soon as you enter the restaurant. Wine pairing was excellent, juice pairing was not that great. But a good supplement to the wine. The food did not live up to the hype that Noma has been getting for many years now. The technicality of the cooking is great but the flavor profile did not live up to it. Personally, it is a place that I am glad I had the chance to experience but I would not go back, as the experience does not live up to the price.

It took me 6 months to get the reservation, and it was years on my to-do list to visit Noma. Words can't begin to describe the experience - because it should be really taken as such, an experience. From the first welcome to the waiting greenhouse, up until the last goodbye, everything is an orchestrated perfection. Before I even begin to talk about the food, I want to acknowledge the service and overall feeling - I feel I first time really felt the danish "hygge" - the space is so warm and welcoming, while allowing guests for their privacy. I loved the atmosphere and as a guest at a shared table, it was extra nice to socialize with other guests and become friendly at the end of our 4 hour experience. Service was phenomenal, every dish was explained and we didn't even have to ask for things, our needs were immediately met. And the food - where to begin. Absolute culinary heaven, perfection on plate and visionary paradise. You can't really describe the flavors with words, it needs to be experienced. My visit was really above and beyond any of my expectations, and I really hope to be able to follow Noma in the next stage!

(Sea food theme) Wow, I’m impressed. Service is impeccable, just great, super friendly and helpful. The food is clearly perfected in several iterations. The theme is incredibly thoughtful and runs through the whole meal, each dish is a wonder in itself. I’m super happy to have experienced it 💕

Incredible experience beyond fine dining. From the moment we were welcomed (the way everyone stops working for a second to say hi was heartwarming) to goodbye the whole evening went by in what felt like minutes (even though we spent 3+ hrs). The food experience has been one of the most intense of my life - we left surprised, deeply satisfied, happy and almost overwhelmed. The effort and attention everyone puts into details was very appreciated but the atmosphere never felt stiff. Have to come back!

What does it mean to be considered the best restaurant in the world? To have three Michelin stars? And to be located at the end of a spit of land surrounded by water? This is Noma. Where reservations are incredibly hard to get; they sell out an entire season in 3 minutes. Literally 3 minutes. We were on the waiting list for every single day we were in Copenhagen and got one! You arrive and are seated in a greenhouse-style room. You are served a lovely cup of tea. We then walk outside in the dark to the main restaurant room, where the entire kitchen and serving staff welcomes you. The room is beautiful, warm wood, and decorated for the current season - Game and Forest. It is earthy. Even the bathroom has evergreen boughs on the floor, which let off a lovely scent when you walk over them. The service is impeccable - everything perfectly timed. Every dish is described in detail by people who you can tell really care about what they are doing. The food pushes the boundaries of how to use preserving and various forest edibles to dine. The food was interesting and complicated. However, was it delicious? Should one expect deliciousness - or just a stretching of your thinking about food? Some of the dishes certainly were delicious - the wild boar belly and the reindeer tongue. The grilled fallow deer was perfect. Some of the food definitely was not. A stuffed rosehip berry. A bowl of shaved walnuts that was just -well- walnuts. And dessert was a candied pine cone, a chestnut sauce you are by dipping sumac into it, and a caramel flavored with woodruff and pine. After dinner, you are given a tour of the kitchen and facilities where they work on their next menu items. It is an amazing and complex organization. Their graciousness and attentiveness is amazing. Our experience at Noma was complicated - pine cone desserts are really not good, but our evening there was also magical and the fulfillment of my dream to dine here.

After watching several stories of Noma and chef Rene, what i have experience is vaguely satisfying. Almost all dishes have a taste of Japanese food or Japanese ingredients which for me this is a Scandinavian restaurant... *Atmosphere is too good. Nothing could do better. *Kitchen staffs look very professional, to the point I feel like watching a military training camp. *Services is professional no room for errors. They try their best to comfort and be intimate but I guess lack of a little bit good faith. *Food tastes well balanced and can feel hard work behind it. Presentation scores even more compare to taste. My favourite is the mussel broth, barbecued burbot, and sweet oyster. My least would be eye pie and cod roe waffle. *Chef Rene is on holiday when I was there in February 2024. To me, this restaurant can be compare to flying a Business class from Japan to Denmark, taken care by a very professional cabin crew, serving you a dishes well prepare by well trained dedicate chef.

So I finally checked off all seasons. Did veg in August 2023 and recently game forest season December 2023. Noma Kyoto in May 2023 and shared seafood and vegetable season back in 2019(?). Boy oh boy I was very excited for this season as I saw spoilers and I do like game meats. Of course the whole menu was very extensive with reindeer, fallow, mushrooms, nuts. Creative cooking but end of the day it’s very delicious. Honestly I didn’t know walnuts could taste so good. And yes deer brains in an omelet? Another serving please. Totally recommend if you come with an open mind and are keen to try weird things. Looking forward to seafood season in 2024!

Noma is an institution. They were the ones who kickstarted the great Nordic gastronomic revolution. And they are the ones who represent everything that new Nordic cuisine has to offer. Always re-innovating themselves, always boldly experimenting and always striving for perfection. In essence, do visit Noma if you wish to experience gastronomic pinnacle, surprising new tastes and phenomenal attention to detail. It’s all worth it.

I waited 3 months for this booking and wasn’t disappointed. I had the Meat and Game Season menu, with the juice pairing. I was a single diner so I was paired with three others who had travelled from around the world to be there and it made for great conversation - nice guys and was happy to stick around for another drink post-dinner. The food is fantastic, the flavours were insane. There’s nothing to complain about when it comes to the food, or the service or atmosphere. I would say that the Juice Pairing is too expensive but that’s my only gripe.

This place man... Hands down the best restaurant in the world. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. This is the most perfect experience ever. Thank you so much, Noma, for a very, very special evening. The food. The service.. everything was perfect. The tour to the fermentation lab: Perfect. I know this is an expensive place, but it was worth every penny. Go here for dinner, go here for an experience you’ll never forget!!

Whether you'll like this or not depends on your expectations going in. Noma is clearly a world class restaurant, and would be on top lists for many diners. Good and unpretentious service, good food, overall pleasant experience. While it is fine dining, I'd not go in expecting fussy service or extremely inventive dishes, presentation or taste wise. I.e. it'll all taste good, but don't come expecting molecular gastronomy or similar. Our group's understanding of was that they use local produce, maximizing what they can use based on what they have in a way that also makes the food inventive. Menu rotates anyway so it's not like whatever I review now is going to be applicable moving forward. Friends did like the non alcoholic beverage pairings. Alcoholic beverages seemed to have a 'natural' focus. We felt comfortable dining there, and the staff indulged us by giving a tour of the area after (shout out to marina).

I had an individual seat at a shared table with 3 others. It is by far the best restaurant I've been to in terms of food, albeit some of the details regarding interior and overall experience could've been more polished, in my opinion. For example, the restrooms were very unintuitive where one would have lock two doors for privacy.

We went in vegetable season in the summer. It was simply and unquestionably the best dining experience i ever had. We went right after Noma Kyoto and the Japanese influence was apparent, though i can imagine its always the case. Worth it without a question.

Securing a reservation at Noma is quite an effort and you should budget 5,000 DKK per person for food+wine. So is it worth it? The architecture and interior design are really amazing and service was great as well. All staff members were super friendly and welcoming. René Redzepi though spent a good amount of time in the dining room, but kept chatting with a few patrons and buddies and didn't bother to quickly stop by at other tables. All the courses were tasty and beautifully arranged. However, only a few plates stood out and secretly we had hoped for some more mind blowing flavors and fermentation magic. Also the vegetarian male in our group left the restaurant still feeling somewhat hungry (offering at least some bread at some point could have helped here). Overall you can definitely spend a nice evening with good food in a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere at Noma. But you might come with very high expectations that will be hard to meet.

There are 15 courses with wine and juice pairing. In my opinion, the pairing is a little bit overpriced. But it's still a lifetime experience. The taste and flavour are something I never tried in my life! I do not recommend that people quickly have diarrhea to try out their seafood menu. 3/4 of us had diarrhea after dinner. It's not a food quality issue, just too much seafood at a time.

We visited Copenhagen specifically for this restaurant. Sensational. You’re not going to be able understand just how good the experience is from any review or TV show, no matter how well written or presented. Go to Denmark (get a reservation first).

We got a normal menu and a vegetarian menu. Food was good, some a bit tasteless, it felt like a but too much effort was put into the visual presentation rather than the taste. The point of no return however, was when the waiter quite unpolitely asked my partner to stop tasting my food since she ordered the vegetarian menu and I got the regular one. The waiterer told us, that it apparently takes 3 days to prepare the 4 vegetarian dishes that my partner got. However, having spent 4000 kr. For the night i do believe that my partner had the right to taste some of my fish. Nevertheless, the mood at the table was put down by the waiter, and that shouldn't be the case for such a special night, that a visit to Noma should be. Wine was good but not overly impressive.

I was surprised by my wife on my birthday and she made my dream come true. I wanted to go out for dinner at Noma once. That we got a table on my birthday of all days was pure luck. The dinner was an absolute dream. The textures and tastes were unique. The service was modern, not aloof, absolutely friendly. Perfect for me. I am a chef myself and I take my hat off to the precision and technical skills of the whole team. It was like coming home. A very big thank you to the whole team, who did a breathtaking job.

Food at Noma is art. Each dish, each produce eat recipe step is carefully thought of and executed. Our meal ended with a kitchen tour where we saw interns turning radish into petals. After speaking to them we learnt how each one of them speciallises in one task and perfects it. A tasks as simple as scooping ice cream is perefected for over 5 minutes!

🌊 Ocean Season | June 2022 🌊 📌 4 persons - 2 bottles of wines & 1 Juice Pairing ____________ It’s not my first time in Noma. So I am not so biased. What Noma has to offer you beside the new tastes and techniques is an experience. This year’s ocean experience was beyond expectations. Storytelling was present in each dish we tasted. ⚠️ What I missed was the “Why” behind each dish. Service was as always awesome and so well choreographed. Let’s talk about costs: Ok it’s an expensive meal. But is it simply a meal or is it something to remember ? The passion of the team. Their commitment to be the best in the world is not that simple . Do that present to your self and go to Noma with all of your senses activated. Hint 1: don’t miss the book for fermentation. When you will start reading it, you will understand why everything you tasted was so unique. Hint 2: Prior your visit request for a tour afterwards . It’s also a quite unique adddition to your visit.

Totally overrated restaurant! Unfortunately, both my family and I were very disappointed with Noma. We are a family that loves to enjoy good restaurants and we have visited many Michelin star restaurants, in different countries, and Noma is not even in our top 5. - The negative experience starts right at the entrance when all the employees are forced to stop what they are doing just to say 'Hello". I understand staff being polite and creating a connection with guests, but completely unnecessary and outdated behaviour of standing still waiting for guests to pass. - Next, no menu was offered to us at the beginning of dinner, which makes it impossible to know the prices of drinks, and juice and wine tastings. I informed the server that we were thinking of ordering juice tasting and he put the drinks straight away without even offering a menu with the prices. Luckily we can pay, but I think of those who have a more restricted budget and just want to have a special dinner, I think how they will be surprised with the bill at the end of the experience. - The server takes LIVE seafood to every table, with the excuse of 'presenting' what we are going to eat. A cruel attitude towards the animals, which are out of the tank for a long time, without air and suffering, I felt like I was in a zoo. Cruel and inappropriate attitude. -The first course was a soup presented inside the crab, but full of rubber bands. Terrible presentation and terrible taste of dead fish. - As for the other dishes, they were all very well made, correct, well presented and delicious. However, there was no surprise, just common dishes that can be found in any starred restaurant. The main course, a lagostim with beurre blanc, that the French restaurant next to my house does exactly the same thing. - Escalopes were served ALIVE. Another completely unnecessary and cruel attitude towards the animal. - We ordered bread and more than one server came to ask us why we were asking for bread, while almost all dishes had sauces. When the bread finally arrived, after we had to explain why we wanted it, a slice of bread came for each couple. That's right, ONE slice for two! I even thought that the bread was only for the employees, but when I went to the toilet, I saw that the cook was cutting other pieces of bread and all of them were huge. So there was no shortage of bread, just inconvenience. - Dessert could have been served as a mise en bouche, as it was salty ice cream and without any sweet touch. The second dessert was pleasant, but also nothing special. A pannacotta wrapped in seaweed sheets. -Before leaving, we receive the menu of the 15 dishes we had. Totally unnecessary, to offer it after the tasting as they all went to waste. It would be much more sustainable to put the menus on the table at the beginning of dinner and offer them to those who wanted to take them home. - We were invited to take a tour of the restaurant and we really appreciate the attitude as well as the tour. In conclusion, Noma is not worth the price it costs. Unpleasant and old-fashioned service. Average food, no big surprises. The place is very beautiful, as well as all the tableware. None of us left satisfied and we all agree that we wouldn't recommend Noma to anyone. Many other restaurants offer superior experiences at fair and honest prices, and better service.

The only restaurant I have visited that I’d give 6 Stars if possible. The entire evening was a pure celebration of food and dining. We had so much fun talking about which of our 15 courses we ranked best and exploring the wine and juice pairing, giving the juices an edge over the wines :) There was a perfectly harmonic atmosphere and we felt very welcome by all of the staff members.

Visiting Noma had long been a dream, and I was so excited to finally do this for Vegetable season 2023. After 7 years I finally made it to Noma, and despite having egregiously high expectations, I was completely blown away from start fo finish. Every single aspect of the dinner was immaculate, from the incredible staff to the amazing location to...absolutely everything else. We did a trip to Denmark surrounding our reservation at Noma (after trying to get one for years), and experienced the seafood menu. Every single dish was seafood, we could barely finish the food we were so full, the wine pairing was esoteric and off-the-beaten-path. Although we got a reservation for a shared table, which we were a bit dubious about, in the end it made the night extra special and we made new friends. It's even more fun to view and taste each course with others and see everyone else's wide eyed looks of amazement. If Noma isn't on your bucket list, it should be. If it is, move it to the top. Doesn't matter what the menu is (honestly I want to do the vegetarian menu more than anything now), doesn't matter where you sit. You'll be able to see the entire restaurant, front and back house, fermentations, food lab, molecular biology, etc. I can't even begin to describe our favorites, but the king crab, the main event, was so bizarre and different from any king crab I've ever had, that I was left speechless.

(Translated by Google) It is a pity that some of the few green oases we have in Copenhagen are being turned into such a once self-absorbed, "see me" place. The burgers were now quite decent but nothing special, only that it is made somewhere people know the name of. Seemed unfortunately it has become more the norm than it outrere. A little sorry I tried it, you just support that kind of thing. They for only one star due to the quality of the burger versus the price and wait time. Look out there and see the pink elephant, then find another place to eat. Worst food ever. Visited over 30 Michelin star restaurants and this was the worst. Nothing compared to Mirazur, which currently holds Rank #1 worldwide, where I was last year and Noma is supposed to be #2? Overrated & overvalued. Lots of grass, very little substance. Nothing from all of the corses, which would have a taste, not even the deserts, which are always quality at any Michelin place. Was leaving the restaurant or hour after I came there .....

Noma 2020 Corona style: take away cheese burger and veggie burger. I had high expectations in regards to the veggie, but thought it was a bit bland.. My co-eater caught more nuances in the flavors than I did.. Cheeseburger was extremely tasty, nice texture of the beef. Long queue to get it but the nice weather and the wheelbarrow filled with drinks made it a good experience, but probably wouldn't bother doing it again..

Wow! What a great experience! From the welcoming at the entrance by the grand master chef himself to the goodbye from the crew - absolutely amazing. The part in between should be experienced by you. Words can hardly do justice to what they create in this place. Thank you!

Definitely a very eclectic dining experience. One you won’t ever forget. Eating at Noma is much more than a meal, its a lifetime experience. No detail is spared and everything there happens for a reason. The wine and juice pairings are very intriguing. Food is very flavorful and you need to eat what’s in front of you without thinking twice about it. Not for everyone, but we loved it and highly recommend it!

Noma is an experience, a theatre with taste and smells and history of food. I have been to the old Noma a few times, and now the new Noma. And each time I have a new and entertaining experience. Not all the food is for everybody, we had reindeer brain for the first course this time, and if you don't like to experiment with food and taste you should save your money and instead go to a fine dining restaurant. So I had a great experience, and recommend this to everyone that loves food theatre

Confirmed - the BEST restaurant in the world! We were on the waiting list and it felt super surreal when I received the reservation email. We went for lunch and were the first ones in the restaurant, and the entire team was behind the door to greeet us - amazing! The ambience is fantastic and the food is unbelievable - in textures and taste and presentation! The "bad" thing is that now we compare all other restaurants with Noma....so definitely will be coming back.

An absolute bucket list item We were lucky to score a last minute reservation due to a cancellation on one of the days we were in Copenhagen. Even luckier that it was Ocean season and the entire menu was seafood. Naturally, this isn't somewhere you'd be eating on the regular and Copenhagen is expensive so this is one of the most expensive dinners we've ever had, but oh so worth it. Overall the experience was fantastic, a relaxed casual atmosphere with waitstaff making genuine conversation. Over on the next table, a mother brought her young Danish son to experience the food and the waiter translated all the English into Danish (after seeing that he didn't understand) without prompting. I think this shows Noma's attention to detail. Food, of course, a stand out. We loved every dish, and especially the crab soup (served in a crab), the langoustine, the eclair with caviar. There were different textures, flavours, seafood and all courses served with fluid efficiency across all tables. Absolutely recommend any foodie to put this one on their bucket list, they're number 1 for good reason.

Whats not to like! The by far most impressive culinary experience in my life. If I could, I would give NOMA not 6, but 7 HUGE shining stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! Wow. The service, the waiters and the food: Out of this world. And yes, it is art on a plate, but our tastebuds were thrilled and we were not leaving "hungry" but filled with an experience that we will never forget. Rightfully 3 Michelin Stars, and being The Best Restaurant in The World 5 times! Thanks NOMA ✨

No doubt it’s the frontier of today’s food technology and dining experience. However, there’s still room for improvement in terms of service, attention to the guests and overall atmosphere & impression it all makes together.

Undeniably the best food experience I've ever had. Welcomed personally by all of the chefs as we walked to our table past the central kitchen. Every dish was incredible and tied to their game and forest season. Incredible flavours and textures, and every dish was a 9 or 10 out of 10. FOH staff provided an excellent attentive service and explained everything well, and we felt very relaxed throughout the lunch service. Treated to a tour of the restaurant afterwards, and were thanked by the chefs on our way out. Absolutely incredible, I hope it remains in Copenhagen in some form after it allegedly closes in the next few months.

Was exactly the exquisite experience expected, that everyone is raving about. Of course, this was only the 'sans reservation' Noma burger restaurant, but it was classy, friendly and a truly different experience. And the food, of course, was just great.

I would particularly like to highlight the support from Charlie from the NOMA-Team, who made sure we had a fantastic evening. The wine taste of one of my companions is very classic (which didn't always fit the concept of NOMA), but Charlie took up the challenge and solved all the problems with flying colors. None of us had to go back to the hotel sober ;-)

What can be said that hasn't already been said? It's an amazing restaurant and, in my opinion, worth every penny. We were there for the game and forest season - excellent. Nuts, mushrooms, venison, duck: all presented with perfectly complementary flavors. I was particularly impressed with the wine pairings: it was all interesting wines I wouldn't normally have tried. It also needs saying as well that the service staff and cooks are all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Top to bottom, a world-class meal.

(Translated by Google) Noma's cheeseburger was a pleasant umami experience without appearing boastful, and without particularly strong taste impressions. The burger itself was aesthetically ugly, greasy and fluid. Reminiscent of Jaggers burger, but at double cost, one hour waiting in line, and lack of flavors. More an experience that was fun, but not something you definitely want to repeat.

Had the chance to try the cheeseburger they're currently selling in this period. We queued 2 hours (depending on the time you arrive, you should take this into account, so better be prepared and show up before they open). The staff is amazingly prepared and very kind. Overall, the experience was awesome, although maybe not 100% worth the waiting time. Main reason is: despite the already excessive amount of time we've been queueing, we had the unexpected surprise of being offered eating at a bench "with lake view". Personally, I don't deem eating on a bench as much comfortable as eating at a table. Anyway, the burger was delicious, just something you can't try anywhere else.

One of a kind experience. Really love the concept behind noma as whole - how inventive they are with techniques, the balance of flavours, the presentation, the friendliness of the team and the tour at the end where all the magic happens just brings it all together.

An experience unlike any other for all five senses. What strikes you is how many personnel work at Noma - service, attentiveness, cuisine - everything is on the ball. Food experience is borderline creatively insane which makes it especially unique. We preferred to keep dishes a surprise until after we had finished each course - what an adventure. I can’t spoil all the surprises. A magical evening. Wine by the glass and water very pricey.

The expectations were high and yet it exceeded our expectations. The whole experience from when you are greeted outside, through to the beautiful path passing glasshouses, the food and the service, the story telling and the tour of the restaurant afterwards, it was all so amazing and definitely worthy of bring no 1 for so many years. I also loved how down to earth and non pretentious the restaurant was, despite its status and unlike most fine dining places. Shout out to Maria and Daniel who were so friendly and knowledgeable. We've signed up to the wait list in their pop up in Tokyo because we cannot wait to try more of Noma.

We went during the vegetable menu, and every single dish we ate was like nothing I have ever tasted, and the most exquisite way possible. The staff were unbelievable, so kind, and professional but nice and sweet. Whoever is a true foodie has to go once to Noma
