Amazingly good and a must visit cafe in Copenhagen. Famous for its breakfast offerings and outstanding coffee. Run by Polish couple Monika and Jan who traveled the world and collected many recipes which they then master to perfection at Seks Eatery. With a sustainability mindset and zero waste attitude, they cook from mostly organic products. Loved their own baked sourdough buns. The menu is regularly updated featuring new dishes. Be assured to always get high quality delicious comfort food. Regional favourites perfected to a crowd pleasing satisfaction. The interior is eclectic, but with its own hygge. I even spotted some natural wine gems in decor. Place is the victim of its own success, so better make a reservation in advance or be prepared for a wait to be seated. Monika and Jan are always present, friendly and welcome every guest. Fantastic place!

An amazing little spot. Went there after a couple of people mentioned it to me and after trying their food I can assure it's a wonderful experience. The dishes take you around the world and the service is very relaxed and warm. You can feel like eating at a friend's home. Do not go if you are in a rush. You are not gonna enjoy the place, things take time and you should take the moment to appreciate the atmosphere. We tried the avocado lemonade and the yerba mate lemonade. Both really refreshing. Being from Argentina i didn't know what to expect out of the mate drink, but it was super nice (I would prefer it to have a little bit more of the bitterness of mate, but do not take this comment as a downside of the drink, just my personal taste) For lunch we had a hummus plate and a fattoosh, both really good and fresh. I do not tend to choose salads most of the time, but this one was really flavorful. For the sweet ending, we had the mystery cheesecake (standing ovation) and the leftovers cake (I don't remember the exact name) but it was crunchy and soft and airy at the same time. They serve Prolog Coffee if I am not mistaken.

Came here for the basque cheesecake and it was really good. The rest of the menu looked good too but we didn’t get anything else. Good service here as well

We loved this place! Food was delicious. Seating can be limited but be patient because the wait is worth it. We had cinnamon roll, Turkish eggs and shakshuka. I will be recommending this place to everyone

What a fantastic hidden gem on a lovely quiet corner in the center of Copenhagen! Stumbled across the place this morning when we were looking for a bite to eat and couldn’t be happier. Cosy and warm with absolutely fantastic decor and even better food and hospitality.

I really liked the anchovies tomato, very delicious! The omelette was pretty decent too. However, portions were very small for the price, I don't think it's worth coming back.

Wonderful vegetarian menu, I would love to return and try more of the options. I had the scrambled eggs and bun. Very very tasty and coffee was great too.

Great lunch and amazing bread. They were kind enough to let us know the amount of dishes we should order, which is good because I would have ordered much more! I will be back for another round.

Let me just start by saying the staff was probably the highlight. Super kind, incredibly attentive and very relaxed. The cake is truly delicious and the coffee was good as well. Just can’t help but think it was a tad overpriced. I can still definitely recommend it, especially if you if you sit outside in the sun on a lovely Sunday afternoon!

Food was excellent especially the chilli scrambled egg’s. However the bill is pretty steep.

Very cozy café in the center of Copenhagen. Kind service and a very good cheesecake, the only thing is that it's way too overpriced

This place feels like a blend of a modern, quirky tea room and a pastry shop. The vibe is amazing and the staff is welcoming. As for the food, we got the ginger and lemon tea with the secret cheesecake. It was a great combination, both very delicious. The cheesecake is soft and creamy, with the biscuit layer adding crunchiness to every bite. If you go there, try to guess the secret ingredient: the staff will only answer true or false. We couldn't guess it, maybe next time ;)

We were in Copenhagen on a trip with our kids (2 and almost 5 year old) and we came here for breakfast one morning. It has more seating then other bakeries which was great! The food was so good! We got the gzik with the 50/50 and it was really good. A soft cheese and the toppings didnt have a super strong flavor, just right! We got the scrambled eggs (no chives or pepper) for the kids and they gobbled them up. It comes with a bread and butter too. They were really good! We got 2 flat whites, apple juice, their special cheesecake, cinnamon roll and a ginger cookie. The cheesecake was super good and the cinnamon roll was good and soft but it had a slight citrus flavor. Overall a great place to try! It was about 455 dkk for everything we got (about $67 usd, so about $15/person).

Greatest scrambled eggs of my life. Nice music. I had this with the buns with cheese, so fresh. Coffee was good too. I didn’t wait at all to have a seat. Great place to eat in Copenhagen.

We went for brunch. My husband got çilbur (turkish eggs) and ended up ordering extra bread to wipe up the delicious yogurt sauce. I had the huevos el estampido, which I thought was a small portion but I ended up being full long before it was finished. The berberian whisky (mint tea) was refreshing and lightly sweetened which was appreciated. We shared a slice of their lovely secret cheesecake afterwards. I will come back again for that cheesecake and to try their mango lassi. Place has a great vibe but gets packed easily. The table close to the door though is not so ideal to sit with exposure to the cold as people come and go. Loved the shelf full of cookbooks that you can take and browse through. Overall very nice and cosy.

I ate here multiple times despite only being in Copenhagen for a week. The food, coffee, and vibe are so lovely. The Huevos Al Estampido were DELICIOUS!!

Lovely little cafe/restaurant, thought the menu was written in a really unique way giving a bit of back story to all their dishes. We went for the bread salted butter scrambled eggs and cinnamon bun. Everything was really delicious and definitely recommend as a place to put on your to go list!

Cool chilled hippy place with individual character and laid back style. Great shakshuka and super friendly staff.

Super cozy vibe. Had a great cardamom roll and a filtered coffee. The coffee was more earthy than what I’m used to. Not bad, just different. Really great place to take an afternoon break.

It was disappointing to pay around 60€ for very little food vs other places we visited in Copenhagen. The service was not friendly and I can see other reviews stating the same so it has not changed. We tried to be very kind but I guess the barista had a very bad day. The shakshuka was ok but nothing to justify its price for just a thin layer of vegetable purée and one egg, the bread is amazing and they make it there and the Turkish eggs were delicious but again, limited quantity with a thin layer. The environment is very cozy with different places to sit (comfy sofas or dining chairs), great to work from there too. It is a pity to have to write this review. I would encourage to consider the amount of food or the price charged per item as well as the staff attitude towards customers.

Amazing place. Not just a coffee shop. I’ve had a lot of scrambled eggs and bread & cheese, and this place executes them with care in a way that’s among the best I’ve seen. Their changing menu has dishes from around the world as well, from Alaska to Jerusalem.

One of the best places I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating/drinking in. Fantastic, friendly service. Fresh coffee and amazing food. Jan and Monika - take a bow. Your place is just amazing. Will be back again.

Overall a good experience. The atmosphere is really cozy but the scrambled eggs was nothing special as they described, some salt was missing. Really tasty the potatoes with creamy cheese -the waiter recommended it to me. Really upset about the kombucha: 60ddk for half of a glass and a lot of ice and it tasted as a vinegar. The secret cheesecake was ok but the cookies base was really to hard to cut.

10/10 Strong recommend. Fantastic, homey, delicious, affordable food. Don't sleep on the Vietnamese coffee -- try it both iced and hot! Great cafe with great music and vibes, run by great people.

The brunch was delicious and the service was great. We were four people and sat downstairs. We were so lucky to get to try their laksa - they only had two portions left! We ordered the buns with two cheeses (loved the polish one), scrambled eggs with and without chili, laksa lemak (limited edition travel cuisine) and the Alaskan hotcake. Loved it all. The laksa brought me straight back to my travels to Singapore and Malaysia. We didn’t know what to expect from the Alaskan hotcake - but that was one of our favorite. The consistency was so good, and it worked well with the sweetness from the syrup and acidity from creme fraiche. We were too full to try the cheesecakes, so we brought two home. They were good too! This is a place that’s interesting, with unexpected dishes that tastes great. Will come back and can’t wait to try more of their travel cuisines.

Tasty, good coffee, very cozy place. The secret cheesecake with a flat white is a must. Smoothie was really good also. It’s not a place to come in rush, everything takes time but the wait is worthy 🙂

Highly recommend this great cafe. A cosy, characterful interior creates a warm environment made even better by the friendly staff. The food, cakes and coffee make it a must visit

Such a great coffee shop and the food was excellent! A perfect breakfast to start the day in Copenhagen. My favorite were the avocado lime lemonade and the sandwich with the a soft cheese. I look forward to come back and try more things hopefully!

It’s a really nice place, great food options which all felt very unique but still authentic. However the service was just not it, unable to tell us when a table free up, forgot our reservation, forgot our order, did not clean the table, no menus… quite hectic

It's a lovely, cosy space, right in the bottle of the city, and I could imagine coming back for a cup of tea. But instead of giving five stars for that, I'm giving three stars, because the food is heavily overpriced relative to the amount of food, even considering the normal level in Copenhagen, and because almost everything was sold out: Half the menu and all of the cakes etc.

Had a nice lemonade, a mango lassi and a Alaskan hotcake. The place is small and cosy and the music is really nice to listen to. If you are visiting and looking for a place to have a break, this is the one. However, there are short in staff, and only one person is working as the front desk. The place is also not that big so when it is busy expect to wait to get a table.

Accidentally found this place, good coffee, unfamiliar taste of bakery but it’s really good !! They also have Thai Red Curry which got inspiration from traveling to Thailand. This place is a must to try!
