Wonderful dining experience. Absolutely outstanding! The food was good; I liked it but it wasn’t supreme. However, the entire dining experience including the show with professional dancers and the staff were simply great! I would go any time again!

No air conditioning. Be ready to sweat! Food is great and service is fenomenal.

Not only is the food authentic from the southern region but they have a performance which displays folkloric music with traditional clothing

Loved the ambiance. Our waiter was very helpful, suggesting dishes. At first I was a bit weary, but it turned out to be great. The suggested dish was so tasty! With the luve music and entertainment it made it an unforgettable everning.

Authentic local Chiapaneca food. Cozy atmosphere and very good service! Sopa de Chipilin : Creamy and tasty corn soup. Platon de Botana : Various taste of tasty appetizer. Very delicious. I prefer the shrimp taco. Garnachas: Small taco. Spicy! Tasajo con Chirmol: The beef is very tasty! Like it! Cochito Chiapaneco: Baked porky with special sauce. Good. Filete de simojovel: Beef with special sauce. Also good. Pumpo: A kind of sweet fruit wine. pineapple and lemon juice+ice+voka

Great place to watch live regional dances and music. You don't want to miss it of you're spending a night in Tuxtla. Show starts around 8:45 pm, you can eat and chat with your companions while watching regional dances in the center stage of the restaurant. Food is pretty good not the best one, but you can try some of the most popular dishes at a very reasonable price.

Good food, but the red chilled wine wasn't that great, traditional dishes, and a pleasant atmosphere at the restaurant.

We went on a Sunday, food was cold, drinks didn't have alcohol because it was Sunday but we got charged the same price. Very friendly and warm service. Prices are reasonable.

Wonderful show of local dances in Chiapas and marimba music. Delicious local food specialties. I particularly liked sopa de chipilin with cheese, pescado chumul, and tamal enrollado con hierbas. They also have really good artesanal beer Mala Hierba. Important notice: restaurant has a parking garage in the back street.

Excellent restaurant. The waiter was particularly attentive, explaining each dish in detail. Their speciality drink is well worth too. In addition, there was a show at 8:30 - showing local dances. I feel we got great value for our money. I will recommend this to friends for sure.

It was pretty good, you can tell it’s a tourist spot. What I mean is, for the authentic ambiance it’s fine. For food it is up there but not the greatest.
