Nice Italian restaurant. It was our first time here and we were given good recommendations prior to ordering. Drinks came out fast but pizza took a bit. Totally understandable

I love their fresh bread, stuffed mushrooms, mussels garlic and oil, lobster and shrimp ravioli and creamy chicken Asiago. Special thanks to our waitress, Sarah680, for great service and hospitality.

Mother's day in a wine barrel! Excellent service, excellent food. Susie was a great server, helped to make our mother's day special. Even helped with gluten free, diary free options. Really enjoyed the pizza.

This was my first time here and i fell like it was a really great experience. We were seated in these wine barrel seats which were kind of a neat place to sit. I started off with a house salad which although pretty basic, I loved the homemade salad dressing! I was tempted to order chicken piccata but I wound up going for something more traditional and got the lasagna. Overall it was a pretty great lasagna, but I wasn't a huge fan of whatever kind of meat that was in it. We finished up with a Apple tart type dessert and that was very tasty. The cost wound up being about $50, or $25 per person for a house salad, bread and butter, entrée, iced tea and splitting a dessert. That seemed just a little higher than I would have cared to pay for a basic Italian dinner, but the atmosphere and the service was great, food was pretty good and price was average-high.

It was a great experience. We sat in the hall first but it was a little noisy, then we changed to the barrel booth. It was a lot quieter. The dinner Croissant tasted great if you dip it in the sauce of stuffed mushroom or mussels. 🤌Yummy. But the veal was mediocre. And the Tuscany soup tasted good.

What a delicious Italian meal! After visiting the Topsey Exotic Ranch and Park, the family and I stopped by Giovanni's for an early supper. They have a beautiful patio, in addition to an elegant dining room. We decided to sit on the patio and enjoy the gorgeous afternoon. We started with drinks... Mine was an Italian margarita- fantastic! My husband ordered the artichoke dip. We all dug in before I could a get a picture, but it was fabulous!! My dinner came with the Tuscany Soup and I ate it all up with one of the small loaves of fresh baked bread. It was better than the Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana and breadsticks!! Then my meal came... Chicken Parmigiana. This, too, was incredibly delicious, but I had to take half of it home as I was so full from the soup, artichoke dip, and bread. I was delightfully stuffed!! But, I am certainly looking forward to leftovers tomorrow!! And not to forget our server, Kayleigh!! She was on top of it!! And we especially appreciated how sweet and helpful she was!! For my husband, she recommended the tomato basil house dressing for his salad, and it was perfect! (He usually gets ranch dressing!! But I'm glad he branched out on this one!!) If and when we make it through Copperas Cove again, we'll be sure to stop at Giovanni's for another awesome Italian meal!!

The atmosphere was great. The waitress was pleasant and nice. We were a large group of 20 so it took longer to get our drinks and food served. The food was tasteful but not too flavorful. I would have preferred more spices or zest.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! I ordered a calzone and what I loved so much about it was that the bread was soft, which I feel is rare to find The bread sticks they had were also amazing. They were very soft and were delicious. The food came out hot as well Kaylee was an amazing waitress. Even though we were the only ones on the back patio, she still kept checking on us and was very friendly. She went above and beyond I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area or anyone visiting

Amazing experience!! This restaurant was the perfect venue to celebrate Mother’s Day with my wife (mother of three)!! The atmosphere encouraged communication between us while blocking out the ambient noise (see the photos). We enjoyed two well prepared plates. I highly encourage visiting and meeting our waitress (Alondra). She was very helpful, sweet, and attentive. We will certainly be back.

Wow. Been coming here since it opened way back in the day. Definitely upscale for the Cove/Hood area. Came up from SPI and figured what the heck? Italian food sounds great. Unfortunately everything from the soup to dessert was sub-par. Too much salt would describe the meal. Everything had a over pinch of sodium. Our server was Central Texas Friendly and knew the menu well. I'd say as old as this place is, it's had its ups and downs. We caught it on a down swing. The price point didn't add up to the meal. Guess we shoulda had Korean!! Plotted. Scouts Out..

Great food and service. Pricey, but great for the occasional splurge! I had the Citrus Grilled Salmon, which comes with a salad (try the lemon and garlic house dressings) and veggies. Delicious!

A spacious and accomodating Italian restaurant hidden away in Central Texas. Very attentive staff will ensure a great experience at this relatively upscale facility. Lovely decor and seating options make for a captivating experience. Came here for some mandatory fun- ask about reserving a private room for your next event and they will take care of you!

Nice Italian restaurant, stopped in during happy hour & really enjoyed their bruschetta. The pasta trio was good and our waitress was exceptional. $20 plates with lots of options. They serve free bread too which was soft and fresh. They have a really nice intimate dining area that looks like whisky barrels which is super cool HOWEVER tall people beware, you’ll be leaning over as they aren’t very tall so maybe go for a table but still fun. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

We waited for about ten minutes before we were seated. Not bad at all. The server came immediately and got drinks. I got the amaretto sour and a lemon drop. The sour was extra extra sour but not bad. The lemon drop was good. I also got the chicken Caesar salad with chicken. The salad was amazing. It was fresh and the chicken was fresh. The inside was beautiful to look at. I like the artsy feeling that you get when you are there. Good place.

We were able to get seating for 8 without much of a wait. The waitresses were pleasant and attentive. The decor felt authentic and the food was delicious, especially the dessert.

We've been here twice now and both times had a wonderful evening. I like how cozy and intimate the wine barrel seating is. The food is great, as is the service. Some minor things they could do to improve would be to seat couples in that room and adjust the lighting. It's a great date spot till you have a loud group or a table of kids in this intimate little room.
