I ordered a #2 - Pork ribs, Chicken katsu, double rice, double mac. I think if you want a decent amount of food for a reasonable price, this is the place to go :). Having said that, this is the second time I’ve eaten here, but I don’t think I’ll return for a third. The “banana lumpia” was mostly wrapper but still cost $1.50 a piece. The mac salad was very al dente this time around - I don’t know if that’s just how they make it here now, but it was disappointing. I’ve been very nostalgic for home and the mac salad just made me feel even more aware that I’m not in HI anymore. Maybe I seem dramatic, but for me, the mac salad is the cornerstone of a good plate lunch lol! I do realize not everyone makes mac salad the same or has the same preferences... Otherwise, this place usually has a very friendly staff and a clean facility, as far as I can tell.

Very good food the sauce with the katsu chicken was just the right spice and boldness. Cashier was very polite and courteous. Wanted to the brisket but was sold out Will definitely check back.

Food is delicious 😋 the brisket and the Kalua Pork with cabbage with their spicy sauce is my favorite! Must try!! (Here’s a picture of the brisket, the pork was eaten before I could snap a pic 😋)

Everything we tried was delicious! Everyone working were smiling and friendly, music playing, just a feel good place to grab some damn good food. So glad we decided to try eating here. Recommend giving this place go, you'll definitely make it a regular spot when you do.

I kid you not! This place is so good. I got a 3 meat plate for about $15 delivery and when I tell you I’ll be back tomorrow I’m not lying! The teriyaki chicken is phenomenal and the curry katsu almost made me tear up! The ribs are tender and juicy and THE LUMPIA WAS INDESCRIBABLE! 10/10 recommendation! YOU WONT REGRET IT!

I was a lost customer because of previous bad experiences. It has been a while but out of curiosity I tried again. Certainly glad I did. Apparently someone made several changes that significantly increased the quality of their food. I made a large order and everything was great. Exactly how it should be. I am now a customer again and happy because I missed Hawaiian style cuisine.

I read through a lot of the reviews and decided to give this a try. Weeks went by and as I was driving into cove and pulled right in to the parking lot. When I opened my door I was met with this breath taking smell of hawaiian bbq. Walking into through the front door I was immediately greeted not only by staff but the huge menu too. After studying the menu I decided on the number 2 for myself which included, a pork rib, chicken katsu, rice and macaroni salad . My husband also got a number two but with brisket, kalua pork and a double salad. He enjoyed his plate a lot! The salad was crispy and fresh, the pork and brisket were super tender and flavorful. As for mine...katsu was nicely breaded and crunchy, the rib was fall off the bone (literally) but the sauce had an acidic background but not a lot of flavor. My sides were rice, which is fluffy and sticky. On it was a type of teriyaki sauce and wow it was good!! The other was macaroni salad which had a creamy texture but again no flavor. I also ordered 1 egg role and 1 spam musubi. The egg roll I feel was like something you get when you order chinese and the musubi was meh. The musubi rice to meat ratio was way off and the meat was barely on the other side of cooked. Honestly this place has the potential to be good just have to add seasoning to some stuff. I will be back for the katsu for sure.

Best Hawaiian food I’ve had in central Texas; better than other Hawaiian spots in Killeen/HH/Cove. The Mac salad is so good! I really like the new furniture and island vibe you get from the interior. It makes me want to book a trip back to Hawaii today

Made my mouth smile so big at the first bite!! If you want to be married forever, take your spouse here!!! He/She will love you forever!!!! The pulled pork and cabbage is to die for, and the teriyaki chicken just melts in my mouth! Makes my mouth salivate speaking of this place! I will be back next week, and the week after, and the week after, and the week after! Going to get frequent Flyer miles at this place! A must on the bucket list!!!

Came here to pick up a doordash twice in one day. The morning shift is a bit more professional. Evening shift likes to have more fun, which I understand, but some things shouldn't be said in front of customers. Restaurant was clean and peaceful (other than staff). Backing out of parking can be tricky if during rush hours, so I'd recommend parking behind the building.

LARGE PORTIONS PEOPLE! I was amazed at how much food was on the plates for the price I paid! I loved everything on my plate except the brisket and my rice. The brisket was juicy, but not my favorite, and my rice was mushy. The spam musubi wasn't what I'm used to either. The kalua pork and katsu chicken, however, were great! I absolutely loved the layer of crisp on the chicken. The pork was very juicy and full of flavor. I can appreciate the fact that they put my macaroni salad in a side cup also. It had a really good creamy texture. The teriyaki chicken and cabbage were also great choices. I also tried the guava cupcakes. They were a nice addition to completing the meal. I had enough for two days, and it was even better the second day. The service was great, very quick, and helpful with any questions.

I will say the food is good. Love the teriyaki chicken. Great price for amount of food given. But atmosphere needs work. No friendly greetings at door or direction on seating yourself or where to order.. Hot environment. Sticky tables. So a nice lunch or dinner outing to this environment is a No but will have food delivered because the food is good.
