For prospective patients, You may want to consider a drive out of town to a different BSW or stay away from BSW altogether for now at least. If Baylor Scott Health cared in the slightest bit when it comes to either their patients or their own staff, they would either A. staff more doctors and support staff at this location or B. close the doors. When I went there for my first time three years ago, I was met by a doctor who obviously cared, was compassionate, and willing to look into the issues I had been facing. Three years later, I met up with this doctor for the second time today. Things had obviously changed. While still polite, you could tell he was extremely overworked. He told me he was now in charge of 8000ish patients so he couldnt take on even a single "new patient", and for instance in my case, it was booked improper as a 15 minute emergency type visit when I in fact needed more time for my visit, thus making his job impossible. He tried his best for the allotted time of my visit, but he is human. We could barely cover a single issue, let alone multiple issues. He passed me off to another doctor. Scheduled 2 months out and a 20 Min. visit!!! What is going to get done in the extra 5 minutes compared to the doctor I seen today, my guess is nothing. Long story short, unless you are prepared to spin your wheels, consider finding a different place for your medical needs. These folks can't handle their current caseload, let alone anyone else. Rest assured though, they will try their best (and I thank them for that), but patient care is at an all time low right now. Even scheduled a week out for a basic xray. When I say patient care is low, I mean it in the strictest of terms.

Dr. Raymond was the MOST rudest doctor I have ever seen. I’ve been struggling with suicidal thoughts and untreated ADHD. I walked out of my appointment crying. He treated me like I was stupid and didn’t let me get one word in. And he was getting up and I said one last thing and he literally said “we are done here” and shut the door in my face. The nurse was shocked and told me she’s sorry he did that and don’t take it personal and he doesn’t believe in mental health issues. I walked out of there with my suicidal thoughts at an all time high. I’m making an official report and he needs his license taken away.

Dr. Paymaster was extremely demeaning to my mother. She is autistic, and struggles in social situations. He literally asked her what is wrong with her in the middle of an exam, while she was stimming and making noises to help her regulate in an uncomfortable situation. He literally got frustrated when he shined a light in her eyes for an exam, and she flinched in pain, because bright lights are extremely painful. I mean, does he know absolutely nothing about Autism? He didn’t listen to anything she tried to say. He even reprimanded her, and demanded to her that she had to look him in the eyes. Which if you didn’t know, eye contact is extremely difficult and even painful to some autistic people. You would think a Dr would know more about autism, and would be a little more compassionate to patients with neurological differences. Instead, he berated her, demanded eye contact, and made rude comments about her uncontrollable stims and tics.

I had the most unbelievable experience and need to find out who to report this to. I changed my pcm through tricare to Dr Karen, who was listed as accepting new patients. I called to make my first appointment today and was asked if I was employed full-time. I was taken aback but answered. I was then put on hold where I pondered why on earth I was asked. When the lady on the phone finally got back to me I was told that Dr. Karen was NOT accepting new patients. I asked why I was questioned about my employment. The lady paused for a bit and said they needed a guarantee of payment. I said "Ma'am I have tricare prime which covers everything", additionally I said I have never been asked about my employment before getting a doctor's appointment. She just said I didn't have to answer. Go somewhere else!!!!

Had an appointment for a doctor's appointment for almost two months, went to the appointment and had to reschedule for 2 weeks out. Got a call on Friday afternoon (to late to start finding another doctor) stating the appointment on Monday is canceled because they no longer accept my insurance! Total waste of my time and health!

I would give negative stars if I could . Paymaster and the lady with the eye problem is VERY HIGHLY disrespectful ! They make fun of you and make snide comments under their breath and look at you in discust if you're having an off day ! More then once ! I was told to seek help ! I wasn't the only one that heard it either a few times ! They both need to loose their licenses . I just went for my lab follow up which my new Dr was not happy and put me on a sleuth of meds for ! They was NOT fine ! And because I asked why my bun levels was VERY high I was lied to ! My dogs in chronic kidney failure ! Excuse me for crying ! My bun levels as well as his on his labs at his vet was SKY HIGH ! I am diabetic ! Insulin dependent ! Bun levels effect your KIDNEYS ! Refused to fix it ! Said I was fine and stop comparing myself to a dog ! RUN 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ DO NOT walk from this place . They have NO bedside manner for the mentally disabled and will make fun of you ! Make snide comments enough where you can hear them sitting at the desk next to you . This place is a JOKE ! Darnell would be a better option ! And that says enough !

Kizzie Edie is amazing. My son who is now 15 months has been seeing her since he was born. She found that he had a lip and tongue tie and reassured me that I wasn’t doing anything wrong when trying to breast feed him that these were the issues. She always takes her time with him, he is not an easy baby to deal with because he doesn’t like strangers so he just screams his whole appointment but she never is annoyed with him and takes her time. I love the fact that she focuses on him but she always ask how I am doing with being a mom. She cares and wants to make sure I am doing well also.
