Great food, great beer, and an amazing view. The Rat is an amazing campus bar, and an amazing bar and restaurant in general - and all ran by students! A ton of house specials named built around a UM theme. Pitchers of beer keep flowing whether you're in the newly renovated space inside or taking in the great weather at an outdoor swinging bench or bar. Don't miss the happy hour!

Great food and drinks with a nice view to the lake. Prices are great compared to other bars. However, the service experience greatly varies depending if you're polite to the server or if they're understaffed.

They basically turn this place into a ghost town during finals. They stop reordering beer 3 weeks before their last day. That is preposterous I'm just trying to have a good time. Don't come here during those last 3 weeks of the the semester because you will regret it.

Great on-campus bar with good food and a nice selection of tap beers. The bartenders were super friendly and even gave me a free beer while I was waiting for a keg to be changed. Plus the prices are quite low!

The best. Class was regularly missed in order to make some of the best memories of undergrad here. Drinks are cheap, food is good, service is awesome, environment is one of a kind.

The on campus hangout at UM. You may have to get there at 10am on Friday’s to hold a table for happy hour. It gets that busy. If you are Greek friendly you can probably share a table. Plenty of cool alumni hanging out who will buy you a beer if you flash them “the 🙌” sign! Look for alpha sigs here.

I honestly love the food and service, excellent location close to where I live. The cashiers are always very kind. Highly recommended.
