One of authentic traditional Japanese places in the area. It’s worth visiting if you want to try good Japanese sushi and flavors. Their servers are friendly and knowledgeable.. unique Japanese style dining area that is worth experiencing!

Nice place. The foods are good. Not that big or small servings just right for one person. The price is a little higher compared to other places we visited. The place is clean and staff are nice.

I went with my brother and SIL for the first time last night and it was so good! We all enjoyed our meals… miso soup, tuna suzukuri, harusame salad, spicy tuna rolls, gators rolls and chicken tempura rolls. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and responsive! We also enjoyed that there were booths with the doors that could close.

2/24/22 Two years later and still delish!! Two years ago review: I’m eating my leftovers and had to come and write a review.. this is my second time eating here and the food was absolutely incredible it’s delicious everything I had was absolutely tasty! I’m usually bothered by too much salt everything was seasoned perfectly the miso soup was actually delicious and flavorful sounds like an oxymoron but was absolutely delicious.. Customer Service wasn’t horrible we know what it is don’t expect Worldclass but for the food quality and the price completely worth it highly recommend!

Very busy for take-out, when I walked in, I was told it is taking 45min to an hour for Sushi, I decided to wait for it, it took over an hour. The flavor of the Sushi was good, but rice was under cooked. Definitely try the Hot-Mama roll 👌

Sakura is my favorite Japanese restaurant by far. Every time we go we always get a different sushi plate and each time we’re amazed by how good they are. The employees are always so nice and attentive. I always sit in the private booths (a MAJOR plus at this place). The eel lover roll is one of our favorites. Their fried pork gyoza isn’t too thick or thin. Price is worth their food portions. If you ever get one of the boats get a size or two smaller than how many people you have. So if there are 4 people get one for 2 and there would be enough.

After multiple recommendations from FB groups stating that this establishment has the best sushi in CS we decided to finally try it out on a Friday. When we arrived, they were pretty busy and we had to wait about 5-10 mins for a table. The lady at the front was really nice, and from the interactions I had heard with other customers, she treats everyone like family( knew all her customers and regulars). We ordered the shumai dumplings as appetizers which was a big let down. I feel like you should tell your customers if it’s an item that is straight from a package and is microwaveable, I was expecting handmade/fresh shumai. Next we had the volcano roll, tl roll and the roscoe roll. All the rolls were average at best. There was more rice than actual filling. I liked the vibe of the place and the friendly people. We may or may not give a try again.

I’m so sad to be writing this negative review as this was a place I used to visit all the time. Not sure if they went downhill or if my tastes changed but it’s just not a good spot. They charge a premium price for salmon belly and o toro nigiri but the cuts are very thin and the sushi just flat out isn’t good. Flavors aren’t strong and textures aren’t right. It feels like you’re eating a photograph of sushi, not actually sushi. The tempura was greasy and a little over cooked. The udon soup was good. Their prices are very high considering the overall low quality of their dishes.

My family and I ordered a boat for 4 for take out. The lady on the phone was friendly, staff was friendly, I have no complaints there. The food on the other hand was awful. Everything tasted the same. First thing we noticed was the color of the tuna. It was so bright red, we questioned if it was dyed. We got our answer when we removed it off the rice. It was for sure dyed as you can see the residual on the rice in our photo. This was a new sushi restaurant to us, we were excited to try it but very disappointed. It definitely won’t be a repeat order. I don’t recommend this place as the quality of fish is subpar.

cute small place. it was not busy at all. just us and maybe 2 other tables. this does seem like a better place for to-go orders. we were seated in one of the booths on the side. they could’ve been cleaned a bit better. there were crumbs all over my side, and they can close with barn doors but idk personally i could’ve done without them. it made our room dark and sliding it in the middle rather than blocking either side, the whole table was blocked and i felt talking an order would be a bit odd for the waitress. as long as they don’t mind i guess. she was very helpful. the food came pretty quick though and it was very good quality and portion size. and their menu is pretty extensive. there’s something for everyone. i’d come back, just maybe to-go instead.

Big (8 + 2 kids) party. Delicious food. Long waiting. Missed to pick up order for some persons. Missed to bring some dishes. Some dished waiting time was too long.. So in general ordering process were too messy. Only 2 different beer to choose from. Final check was prepared properly from 3rd attempt (down from 500+ to 250+). So it was delicious but poorly organized lunch.

Excellent food, service, and setting!!! We were warmly greeted at the front door and put in a booth with a sliding door for privacy. Peaceful atmosphere. We ordered a rice and meat meal along with a sushi roll. Complimentary miso soup and salad. Not only did the sushi have a unique name, they were uniquely made. Largest sushi roles ever with some custom combinations. Excellent and friendly service.

Their rolls are huge so you don’t have to order too many to feel satisfied. I have been asking every sushi place I go for sweet potatoes rolls and they never have them, this place has them and they were good. Staff was nice. We’ll be returning many more times.

The staff seems friendly and the appetizers are ok but the fish is horrid. It tasted like rubber and cleaning solution. None of it was fresh. Maybe days old? They also over charged us. The sushi regular is $19.98 check the menu. We were charged 29.95. I asked for a spicy tuna roll which the waitress said was an extra $3 not $10! The stir fry chicken was a 6oz brest covered in onions. There was maybe one broccoli and all carrots. Not worth $25 We had 2 appetizers that added up to another $20 and they were sub par Publix has better sushi than this and not by much. I took some home because I just felt bad saying anything but look at that. This was supposed to be a spicy tuna roll and tuna sushi and it looks like plastic and mush. The tuna roll wasn't even spicy. It has this nasty sweet after taste. Just pure yuck. For $100 we expected way better quality.

The service at this restaurant is truly exceptional. The staff is so polite and friendly. I like the private seating. The miso soup was excellent and the sushi rolls were great but we actually didn’t like the chicken teriyaki at all. That is the only negative about the place. I will definitely return!!!

The kamikaze roll was excellent. Shrimp shumai fried and tempura shrimp roll also great. Lobster roll is overrated and needs to come off the menu because it's not made from fresh lobster. Friendly service. Place needs an update.
