Some of my favorite hibachi in South Florida, been going here for ages. They’re always so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious every time. Portions are really big and prices are great, you get a lot of delicious hibachi for the money! Love the steak and salmon, they prepare it so perfectly every time.

we picked up a to go order for this place. it's nice enough inside to eat in. i'd like to go back and try the hibachi. for this visit, we just got a kids chicken tempura box and miso soup. sooo good. the portion size was good too, even for an adult. just a bit pricey. will be back for dine in and hibachi.

Very disappointed in the service and food safety level. First off, they forgot our rice, drinks, and were very inattentive. They mix raw food with cooked food. This was brought to the chefs attention and did not care. He just asked if he should give the chicken mixed with raw tuna to others at the table. There was a disabled person at the table that could become seriously ill if raw food is ingested. This was made clear to the pony-tailed server before when a California Roll was ordered and no masago was requested. When approached to adjust the bill, this server was apathetic and dismissive that one person was not able to eat their meal due to their negligent cooking process. Any normal food establishment knows not to mix raw with cooked. Of course they would not refund the one person's dish or even offer any adjustment. Not even an apology or attempt to make it right. They did offer to make some chicken in the back that would gave taken 20 minutes more. That's not all. They claim to sit 10 "comfortably" at at table. That is not true. We were 9 and one person had to sit literally on a corner. Lastly, I come to find out that the pony-tailed waiter made inappropriate comments to a woman in our party, insinuating she should be making him dinner and was being what was perceived as flirtatious. This was very distasteful and accurately descriptive of this entire experience.

Really good place with really good food and for cheap, but the fire alarms kept going of during multiple shows. Don't know if they were faulty or it happens all the time but if you have tinnitus or have a fear of loud noises beware

The food was good and the atmosphere is an intimate setting and not congested. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Great atmosphere and decent Japanese food. Cheaper than most of their competition.

The food was ok. We had the hibachi. The cook did not give a show he only cooked our food. It was decent. The waitress only came by in the beginning and the end. We wanted a refill and had to track her down. I know that you don't always get good people to share the table with. That was definitely our experience. We had grandparents with their 6 year old grand daughter. The girl was listening to a tablet the whole dinner and it was very loud. I was trying to be nice and not say anything because I thought the staff might ask her to turn it down. That didn't happen. I felt like I was eating dinner in a cartoon. Was not the best experience.

Went with a party of 10 and the staff and chef was able to accommodate us all very well and efficiently. The food was great and everyone seemed to have been able to get a small portion of what everyone else ordered. You really get a ton of food when you go here. Everything is cooked really well- not overcooked at all. Highly recommend!

Friendly service, delicious food, and a good show. This was our first visit, but we'll be back.

Truely the BEST hibachi I have ever had, my husband and I have been enjoying for years. I have tried many other restaurants' and none have ever even compared to izumo. Everything from their seasoning, to ginger dressing and veggie mixture to the sauce they cook in is so flavorfull and sets the bar so high. They even offer noodles with their meal which i have yet to find anywhere else I miss living nearby, but if we ever find ourselves in the area we always try to grab for dinner. Takeout is just as good as eating there. Definitely my favorite hibachi!

Old fashioned restaurant but the food is good, as it is the service.

10 of us went here for my birthday on Friday. None of us have been here before. We had a reservation. The service was horrible. The hibachi chef had to bus our tables of salad and soup bowls because the waitress never did and he was complaining. We had to ask multiple times for drinks, chopsticks, the typical hibachi sauces. The waitress brought an old beat up 5 gallon bucket of sauce trays to the table. I'm sure they were clean but definitely not the best presentation. The chef cooked the food well BUT there were no typical hibachi theatrics. None. Not even the volcano. It would have been more lively at waffle house. I even let the chef know that we had two people with us who would never been to hibachi before (hoping he would make it extra fun for them) not to mention, it was my birthday dinner. The other table was a lot more lively and the waitress seemed to tend only to them. We had to ask random workers to get us drinks and refills. It really wasn't a good experience. The sad thing is, all 10 of us said we would never go back there because the service was so bad. The food was decent and the prices were okay. Definitely lots of better options around with better service. I know the restaurant industry is still trying to get it's feet back on the ground but I eat out a lot (3-4 times per week) and this was the worst experience I've had in a few years.

The staff was so friendly. Food was delicious and they serve a very big portion. I had leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day! Great environment and you get sat down with no wait even if you’re table isn’t full. We will be back. Definitely recommend, especially the steak!

Fantastic food. Had a few items and all were delicious. The fried rice was honestly by far the best I’ve had in the state of Florida, really reminded me of places in California where I’m from and the prices are great. Also the staff is always so nice. So happy I found this gem. I recommend everyone try it out asap!

I had an appointment next door and ordered myself an early dinner. My shrimp tempura was good, but it wasn’t very hot. I picked up on time but it tasted like it sat for a little while. I will try dine in.

Definitely a hole in the wall but the food is great! Don’t let the server throw you off. His attire is strange and I felt like I was walking into a Hot topic, but he’s super nice. The chefs are friendly, I recommend for any occasion.

Look at the menu on the web site, not on the yelp or somewhere else

This place really should just market itself as what it is... a Hibachi restaurant. Picked up 2 sushi rolls and they were just okay.. no where near the quality of Sakura Sushi. Haven't had the Hibachi so I can't comment on that but I won't go back here for just sushi. Staff was friendly and the wait time was only 10mins.

Limited on roll selection, but very fresh and very yummy. Also, very polite and accommodating. We placed a pick up order 20 min before closing and they took our order without hesitation. Great local spot with great prices. I can’t wait to try their habachi!

The staff was right on point and helpful with any questions we had. They believe you should enjoy your meal at your own pace and not feel rushed. I highly recommend you come and enjoy the food and keep this place open for sure.

We go to Izumo Hibachi every year for Mike's Christmas birthday. The chefs are full of character and plenty of chef magic. They have Sake and plenty of beer and wine available. I recommend Kirin Light. The food is always fresh and delicious. I order the chicken, shrimp and scallops hibachi. The shrimp appetizer is delicious. The lobster is delicious. The steak is delicious. Everything is delicious. I don't think you can go wrong at Izumo Japanese restaurant. The sushi is delicious too! The staff follows all social distancing guidelines.
