Well, for starters.. the pet fee is per pet. That's not advertised online even though I was certain to check beforehand on the pet policies. The AC stopped working the second day, I stayed in the room for four hours waiting on staff because my dogs were there but gave up and left. Thank goodness they still fixed it. The water in the showers is too hot on the very lowest setting it's still too hot to stand under for more than a few seconds. When I say hot, I mean BOILING HOT. Then... My trailer with Kayaks were stolen, out of the parking lot on the second night, and the front desk were less than helpful, only offering to call the police and letting me know that they only have cameras INSIDE the hotel. After extending our stay one more day in the hopes the police could locate our stolen property.. we came down the elevator to it MALFUNCTIONING and dropping us from somewhere between the second floor and the ground. Not only was it terrifying, but it also hurt my already damaged back. When pointing this out to the staff at the front desk they just said there was nothing they could do that it happens all the time. The staff at the desk proceeded to laugh. I'm sorry but your hotel is 11 stories tall. This is an accident waiting to happen. Reported it to police and elevator commission.

I recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in Dolphin Mall, and I must say, the location couldn't be more convenient for shopping at Dolphin Mall and exploring MMX. The hotel is situated perfectly for anyone looking to enjoy these attractions. The rooms were impressively clean and well-kept, providing a comfortable stay. While my experience was generally positive, I believe the overall experience could have been enhanced if the staff were a bit more supportive and pleasant. Nonetheless, the hotel's prime location and cleanliness make it a good choice for anyone visiting the area. I appreciated the convenience and comfort during my stay. #ConvenientLocation #CleanRooms #ShoppingHub

Overall nice staff, but I had to request towels 4x’s before I received them. I asked for housekeeping after the first night because the room had sticky floors and food crumbs on the carpet upon arrival. They did not vacuum or mop, they just sprayed air freshener. They actually did not vacuum the entire 5 days I was there. The room and hallway smelled like old socks. Restaurant staff was very friendly.

The person who welcomed me at the front desk was very warm and helpful. The room was very clean and smelled clean as well, which was a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the thermostat was set to a comfortable temperature. All in all, I had a great night’s sleep and had a good (and reasonably priced) breakfast in the morning before check out.

All good. Rooms are quiet and spacious, large TV, free parking, free bottled water and friendly staff. Bathroom had some mold here and there, should be cleaned better. Nice pool area.

An amazing experience! Hotel Staff (Front Desk & Breakfast Staff) was just incredible and sought to satisfy us like we were some sort of royalty! They quickly walked to gather us anything we needed before our breakfast got less hot or warm! The front desk was really quick in having us get three additional towels in less than five (5) minutes after calling the front desk at 8:00pm in the evening! The cleaning personnel shows that they are there to make my family feel safe and bathroom was like new and fixtures shined better than our own home! Amazing hotel and staff.

The Hotel manager, C. Santos is not fulfilling their duties in assisting guests of the hotel. I'm having an issue that I was told by staff only the manager, C. Santos, can address. I was told to send this person and email and wait for a response. I waited a week, no response. I called back and was told by staff "C. Santos, was on vacation, they are checking emails and will get back to you shortly." It's been a week and a half and still nothing. I don't even want to waste my time calling back. Be aware that if you have an issue, you will get no assistance from management.

Super clean hotel and room. Modern look. Great location. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. I’d definitely stay here again.

Super clean and pretty but it’s just very LOUD. You can hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallways. It felt as if the people talking out at the halls were right at our door. The lady’s who clean are very loud and I’m not sure if it’s employees or others staying at the hotel but my fiancé and I heard bumps and bangs ALL night. Couldn’t get any sleep for the two nights we were here. Worst part was that they put us on the 3rd floor right next to the elevator and a room everyone goes to I think for supplies.. if you want a quiet and not so cramped hotel I suggest a more quiet area.

Hotel is a bit confusing as Garden Inn and Homewood Suites are in the same building. After checking in and attempting to enter the room, there was someone inside doing work. He indicated the room was not currently available and sent us back to get another room. We were okay in the room for a couple hours but after sitting in a chair, my daughter immediately started experiencing an allergy attack. Shortly afterwards, I also began sneezing. We ended up leaving the room early.

Unfortunately the rooms were all booked but two young men at the desk,Junior and Justin that I feel went out of their way andoffered to check availability at nearby hotels and found us a great one, Home 2 Suites. After checking in we went back to their restaurant and we're waited on by a delightful waitress named Gina. She was very sweet and attentive. My wife had shrimp fettuccine which she said was one of the best she's ever had. I had meatballs from the bar bites menu with homemade marinara that were excellent as well.

Service was wonderful! Check-in was smooth and fast. The room was fairly clean. The little trap door under the sink would not close and had a tissue on it. The toilet ran throughout the stay and the remote was really slow. There were multiple streaming services listed on the tv but were “not available at this time” during our whole stay. Had to rent a movie that I could have streamed through my Hulu if it had worked.

We were on the 11th floor. I enjoyed myself. Only problems I had was before arriving it took 4 times calling before anyone answered. After arriving, wasn’t greeted as a gold member (I’ve worked for Hampton & Hilton an I know we had to thank the member for being a gold or diamond member) nothing was explained as far as the food credit went, or that you had to use your key in the hotel in order to go to your floor. That definitely would have helped. Minus those things my husband an I actually enjoyed ourselves. We were there for our 1 yr wedding anniversary!

My new go to hotel in south Florida. Great Location, staff was welcoming, although interactions were not necessary. The room (including the bathroom) was very spacious and clean. The lobby and all other general facilities were modern and well kept.

The room are very clean. The staff are really nice and accommodating. The food is excellent. The water could be warmer for the shower. I would recommend this hotel.

Wish i had more time at this place. Only spent 1 nite. Ended up here when my flight was cancelled and airline put me up. Got there late evening. Bar was buzzing and vibe was great but i was too tired to participate. Room was really nice, clean and hi-end. Will def be back!

Spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Unfortunately most of the lamps from the room weren’t working neither was the TV or Netflix, Wi-Fi and cable. I guess I wasn’t lucky enough! The staff was unwilling to help and didn’t cooperate or even know what was going on with the TV, cable and Wi-Fi. When I tried calling the receptionists they were very rude saying that I needed to go to the lobby to get the Wi-Fi fixed and even spoke Spanish to me and when I said I didn’t speak Spanish they were mean. I didn’t go downstairs because as you would expect after traveling a whole day you just want to relax and the least you could expect for such an expensive hotel room was good service and maintenance! After a long time trying to get the TV fixed (again, they wouldn’t help) and waiting for so long on the phone I just gave up. I certainly don’t recommend this hotel.

I was there for a workshop of several days. The hotel is very clean and comfortable at very reasonable rates. And the catering is just outstanding: delicious food and the most helpful and warm staff I ever met at such a place.

Clean, spacious rooms at a decent price. The staff was friendly and check in was efficient. Shower pressure could be a bit better, but temperature was good. And you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways. The flamingo mural was my favorite though and I loved that we could look out our window and right up at it. The little things. Overall a good stopover for the night on the way to the Everglades.

Edit: I have reached out to customer service multiple times with no resolution. This was one of the worst check in experiences I've had at a hotel. Would not recomend to anyone as they do not care about your satisfaction. I wrote an email to management a week ago with no reply. We specifically booked this hotel as we were looking for early check in and we were told that was possible. We were also traveling with a child with disabilities which makes traveling more difficult. When we went to check in we were told were lied to about early check in and hotel amenities and we would have to wait to check in for 4 hours and the only thing they could do for us was to cancel the reservation so we could go to a different hotel!! After 1.5 hours of waiting we were shown to a room with no apology or explanation. As the Hilton prides themselves on hospitality I did not expect this level of service. Overall, the hotel and room were as expected, but there were a few minor inconveniences, i.e., Lightbulbs were burnt out in room, phone on the kitchen table wasn't working, and wifi was not working, reception was hard to reach on phone in room.

I stay at this hotel quite often. This time it was Justin who checked me in. He is a true professional in the hospitality industry who go goes above and beyond for his guests and radiates true leadership skills. The bar was only serving beer and wine and he wholeheartedly apologized as this was the second time there’s an issue with the bar since I was last here. Justin, thank you for going above and beyond for me and for coming up with a solution to the inconvenience I faced. Dear leadership at this hotel: he is a true leader!

This is one of the best managed hotels I've been to. ALL of the staff were incredible. The manager has it figured out. Hilton should hire him as their C.O.O.

This is the best hotel to stay while visiting Miami. They located directly across from Dolphin Mall. In addition, the staff is very professional and courteous. They will meet your expectations.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Despite what the other reviews say about the customer service, it is actually good. The rooms are nice and clean and decently roomy. The gym is quite nice, there are dumbbells and one cable machine. The breakfast I enjoyed quite a bit. You can cook to order food. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, omelette, and French toast. Overall the hotel is new and pretty good. However, there’s a reason it’s not 5 stars. The wifi is annoying to get working and it kept disconnecting over and over until it finally worked. For some reason, when I called room service, my call was not picked up even though I called several times. There is also no complementary breakfast. Overall, would recommend.

Excellent experience! The room is cleaned, quiet, and the staff are helpful. We were provided options for higher floors or lower floors on checked in. Free bottle water were provided!

We participated in an Event for 3 day in this Hilton location, the place look impecable, nice decoration however the cafeteria closed to early and was the espresso coffee machine on the self-service cafeteria was out of order for the entire time set.

Clean rooms, excellent location across the road from the mall. Good service from the staff and a Latin cuisine restaurant on site along with a small variety shop at the front desk.

We were staying at this hotel, for a business trip this week and our rental was stolen. We asked if we could get breakfast due to the inconvenience of us having to sit here and wait and they said no because it was a separate entity. Then we found out, three other cars were stolen and this happens frequently around 5am. Then why would you not have security? Frankly, poor customer service. Disappointing to say the least.

Bad service all around. We checked in late around 8pm. Went to have dinner which took forever. The waitress was more interested in talking than anything. Wish we had the male waiter who was working. He was attentive and on point comparable to other our waiter. Next day, decided to go to pool. I called front desk, no one answered for 20 MINUTES. No joke, literally. I called main line on my cell, no answer. So I go to front desk and there's 3 people working. Ask for manager suddenly the phone is being answered. Of course they look at me like I'm crazy. I wouldn't recommend this place if you need anything, any assistance, don't look to them to help you.

I Would’ve Easily Given This Place No Stars If I Could, But In Order To Leave A Review I’m Giving It One. PLEASE If You Care About Yourself & Your Loved Ones Do NOT Stay Here. By Far The Most Incompetent Staff & Poor Working Conditions. Several Of The Lights Did Not Work In The Room & The Water Temperature Sucks! I Would Try To Turn On The Cold Water Because I Was Risking 2nd Degree Burns With The Hot Water & It Just Kept Getting Hotter & Hotter. Also, The Power Went Out In The Hotel TWICE For Over 30mins & The Hotel Had No Backup Generator. While I Was Showering The Power Went Out & I Slipped. When We Contacted The Front Desk For First Aid, Such As A Heating Pad & A Hand wrap For My Wrist, They Couldn’t Help. The Supervisor On Duty Sergio Gomez Was The Most Incompetent Person I Had Spoken With. All He Kept Saying Was That He Didn't Represent The Hotel & That He Was Not A Medical Professional. Hector Was Just As Bad; Neither Refused To Help & Offered Nothing More Than An Ice Pack & Trying To Call Fire Rescue/Ambulance After I Denied Multiple Times Seeing As Though My Medical Insurance Could Not Be Transferred There. My Friend & I Requested An Incident Report & Sergio Kept Misinforming Us & Trying To Suede My Friend From Filling Out The Witness Report. I Spent The Duration Of My Trip On Bedrest Using Heating Pads, That We Had To Purchase, & A Hand Wrap. The Management Team On Shift From 3pm-11pm Were Incredibly Apathetic, Inconsiderate, & Useless. They Did Not Follow Up Or Offer Any Type Of Accommodations To Ensure I Was Okay. When It Came Time To Check Out, They Harassed Us To Leave Even After Notifying Then That We Would Be Delayed Because My Friend Had To Pack Us Both Due To My Back & Wrist Being Hurt From My Fall. DO NOT STAY HERE !!! This Hotel Needs To Be Closed As They Are A Poor Reflection Of The Hilton Brand.

Great location right across the street from Dolphin Outlet Mall. Room was clean, bed was ok, nice amenities to include a outdoor pool, gym, restaurant and bar. Plenty of outside seating and parking.

I was overcharged $20 on a one-night stay. I called the hotel when I got my folio and have proof that they're wrong, but since this I'm calling "after checkout" they refuse to fix it. Really, they can't fix a $20 overcharge "after checkout" even tho the folio wasnt shared before checkout? I expected more from a Hilton than this scam. Shady front desk! Always check your folio!

  • 3/5 Dan K. 1 year ago on Google
Average for a Hilton. The staff was kind enough, but very slow in response. We had 5 people in our room, and needed extra towels. It took calling the desk 3 times before the towels showed up. Room was spacious. Breakfast wasn't great. Elevator was sketchy as hell. We were only staying 1 night before heading to the airport, so it was adequate for our needs.
