Bare bones decor with a casual atmosphere. My wife enjoyed her (two) flight and we had some well above average pizza. The Meatza and the Margarita pizzas were excellent. We had a minor order issue that was dealt with without question and at amazing speed. Absolutely will be back.

Such a fun and chill place to hang out. The beer is stellar, so many awesome favors to quench your pallet! The staff is super pleasant and like to talk about beer! They let us taste a few until we found "the one" You must try the pizza as well!! So tasty!

I like the vibe at this brewery!!! Inside and out. Dogs are allowed outside. Staff are friendly, beer was good on a hot summer day, and the pork sliders were outstanding. Great variety of types of beers from sours to ipas to stouts.

You can order from outside via a QR code and they brought our drinks out to us. There was a good drink selection. We had to pick up our pizza from the pickup window. The beer was delicious, the service was good, and their pizza was wonderful!

Had Mediterranean pizza, one of our favorites. Great beer selection always adding new ones.

Good Outside Atmosphere, drinks were good - had a good selection. Friendly and quick service. We ordered pizza, cheese sticks, pulled pork sliders and brisket sandwich - pizza and breadsticks were oily but other food items were good👍

Options on tap reflected the seasons really well. The ones I tasted were great! Tiki sour, and the orange mallow one (forgot the name) was really good. The sour wasn't an overpowering sour it was perfect. The atmosphere was amazing it was a great night, and there were some family games available to keep our kids entertained.

Had a great time here! They have a big selection of beers on tap, and all of them are very good. In particular I tried two of their double IPAs, double bubba and that’s tight, and they were super tasty with good enough amount of hop! I will go back to try other options. They also have a brick oven so make sure you try their pizzas. The crust was very nicely done and crunchy enough. Only complain is that they could work more on their pizza toppings. The staff are friendly and nice. All in all a great place!! Update: I tried the pork belly bites and they were amazing. The brisket Mac and cheese was nice too, however, it was too soupy and I wasn’t a fan of the bbq sauce.

In town for a Hawkeyes football game and I wanted to try a couple of breweries. I selected this one due to the unique draft options I saw on their online menu. The place was very clean on the inside, staff was extremely friendly. All the beer we tried was very good. I loved their Hawktoberfest beer. Very smooth for an Oktoberfest beer.

Everything at backpocket was amazing. To start- they have a beautiful venue. There’s a big electric fireplace outside which was so enjoyable to sit by. The bar inside is clean and inviting, and the outdoor seating is nicely spaced for private conversations. I was here for a wedding party and they took excellent care of us. Additionally I was able to try so many food and drink options and they were all amazing. I would highly recommend the peach mule and ANY of the Mac and cheese’s that I will be dreaming about for years to come, and the brisket was phenomenal. Their desserts were out of this world, the cheesecake was absolutely stunning. We had a private tent set up and some bags (not sure if the bags are usually available to general guests!)
