The dishes I got were excellent. I ordered vegetable pho, veg. Egg rolls, fried rice. I love it when restaurants have all condiments at all tables accessible for easy customization. On that note , the chili oil and chili sauce were great and house made. They were busy but attentive and on top of orders, incredibly impressive. The flavor was delicious in all regards, I would recommend to friends. The staff was friendly/ fast paced and able to accommodate rushes. I forgot my hand sanitizer there and the owner saved it for me, I was grateful and impressed.

I’m VERY picky about my pho. I have tried many places and I have my favorite spot by my house in North Richland Hills. Now when I come out to Denton THIS will always be my spot. Hands down one of the best pho I’ve had. The broth was so flavorful & the service was so fast. The veggies were definitely fresh and soup came out HOT! I will definitely be a regular customer here and will recommend to friends!

Beef Flank and Veggie Pho were both very good. Flavorful broth. Vermicelli Bun with pork was very bland, had no flavor. However, very good customer service.

Was craving pho on this rainy day! Looked up a new place and tried Asian Star. Was a great bowl and really hit the spot! I will be back!

My boyfriend and I love coming here at least once a week for the delicious vermicelli bowls! Food is always great, comes out minutes after you order, and service is always top notch. We come in so often that the servers remember our drink order. They are also following social distancing, as every other table is available to dine at.

I’ve been going here for a few years now and it never disappoints. I used to live right around the corner but moved 30+ minutes away, but still make the trip back for Pho because it is that good. A waitress named Doan (not sure about the spelling) has been there ever since I started going and always makes me feel like family. She greets me with a big hug and smile and genuinely makes you feel good. Great food and environment.

I ate here on a trip to visit my aunt and we both really enjoyed it. I got the XL bowl and it was bigger than my head. The broth was savory and delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly and everything was fresh. Would travel back just for this place hands down one of my favorite pho bowls I've ever experienced

One of the best Pho I ever had. Would definitely visit this place again when I'm in Texas!! Best vietnamese food it was so authentic here, the steamed dumplings were really good, and the pho was just perfect, the chicken broth had so much flavor infused in it. Loved the place and the customer service was excellent too.

The beef pho XL was very devoid of beef. Maybe 12 to 15 very thin bite-sized beef pieces for a large half gallon bowl with tons of noodles. Taste was good but for thr price you're just paying way too much for broth and noodles. My husband's noodle dish was cold and he also had a small serving of meat with his meal. Service was decent. Restaurant smells like sewer though.

I live in Dallas but work near here and this is by far the best pho i’ve had anywhere in the whole DFW area. They remember my order every time and everyone is so friendly! The service is fast and with delicious results!! 10/10 recommend, I probably eat here at least a couple of times each month because it’s so good. I have also come driven over here from Dallas and other places to come eat their pho. Love this place!

This was my first time ordering here, and had a great experience. I ordered the #23 pho for takeout because I’ve had a cold and feel awful. This bowl of pho picked me right up and I already feel so much better. It’s so fresh and delicious!

Pho Asian Star is a gem! My wife and I had lunch here, and it was delightful. I had the Beef Medium Rare Pho, which was delicious. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience!

So we USED to go here. We understand there are issues with orders sometimes but the amount of times we've had issues is ridiculous. We called back and tried to straighten everything out, but no their were very confrontational, which is highly unacceptable. We will not be going back. The food is good but no we are not dealing with having to fight to try to get our food right. Who ever is saying they are a manager @7:00pm 12-30-23 needs to be retrained.

Everything they make is good and the service is the best. Now I expect every restaurant to be like Asian Star. Not going to happen I know. But If I could make one suggestion: It would be nice, if they offered white chicken meat for all the chicken dishes and not just for the chicken soup. Currently all chicken dishes are dark meat except the soup. But still they are 5 stars, no doubt about it!!!

Crab rangoons + steamed dumplings were bangin! The sauces were bangin’! The PHO WAS BANGIN’! The chicken and beef/flat steak was Bangin’! The who experience was ONE HUNNID. Ong.

I've been here for sunday lunch. This is only one pho restaurant in Denton. Not too busy. Unfortunately, pho soup was weak. But services were great. I asked extra cilantro, they gave me whole vegetable dishes. If you are in Denton and looking for nearby pho. This is only option you have.

I had never had Pho before coming here. The sweet little lady behind the counter was so patient and kind while I placed my order. Definitely get the Vietnamese coffee it is so good!!

Absolutely loved the food. They were extremely welcoming and so nice. This is definitely my new go to pho spot.

Food was standard flare and good. But can’t give more than 1 star when I have to flick a roach off my table. I hope this was a one time thing but I can’t come back after that.

Used to love this place but now they’re cutting corners and not giving what you pay for. I order the same thing every time I go. I asked for something as simple as extra vegetables, which I’ve done every time I’ve ordered, but this time they put it underneath the boxed meat and noodles and there were literally only two pieces of broccoli and a couple pieces of cabbage. Before they used to put mixed vegetables in a separate bag so you could see the mixed vegetables, not this time. When I asked about it and told them there were only two pieces of broccoli they told me they needed to see it. I had to sift through my food container to show them there was no mixed vegetables and then a lady came from the back with a spoon and sifted through my boxed meal and tried to tell me it was right. I have eyes and I can clearly see there are no mixed vegetables. I mean come on…I’m paying for food and they’re not giving me what I paid for and then making me sift through my food which is now cold. I’ll find a new place that appreciates their customers and understands what mixed vegetables are. Geez 🙄

They are always so friendly and smiling, even remembering our order! The food is fresh and delicious always. They even helped me figure out what to order as a vegan. We love the spring rolls, pho, and boba drinks. We eat here every week- it is the best around!
