Deirdre is extremely professional and a fountain of knowledge for all things baby. I cannot recommend her services highly enough. The clinic is clean, warm and inviting. Deirdre made what could have been a very difficult experience so pleasant and we learnt so much from her. She was so kind to our little boy and we all left happy and very relieved. I can honestly say that without Deirdre I would not have been able to breastfeed my son past week 2! I cannot recommend 'Tongue Tie Cork' highly enough!! She made all the difference for my son to be able to feed comfortably. Deirdre has an incredible way about her and a wealth of knowledge which she shares in the kindest, most nonjudgemental approach. I cannot recommend Deirdre enough. She was so professional, supportive and amazing with our daughter. We attended her clinic when our daughter was 3 weeks old due to her being extremely uncomfortable with wind and gulping air when she was feeding. We did a lot of research and came across the tongue tie Cork website and our daughter had nearly every issue listed on the list for tongue tied breastfed babies. It was so quick and easy to get an appointment. When we met Deirdre initially we were instantly relieved and put at ease with how supportive, caring and knowledgeable she was. Our daughter was so comfortable with her. She really spent time discussing the issues we felt were present and we felt really listened to as parents which we have not felt so far when we tried to previously reach out for help regarding this with multiple other healthcare professionals. Deirdre really educated us on the type of tongue tie our daughter had and how this would result in what she was experiencing and how to resolve it. She didn't only discuss the tongue tie she went through so many techniques for winding, comforting our daughter and with breastfeeding. She was amazing carrying out the procedure! I can honestly say we both felt a weight had been lifted off our shoulders when we left the clinic with our daughter. Deirdre followed up with us after the appointment and the next day. She sent us videos and educational tips which were so helpful in the days following. It is now 3 weeks since our daughter had the procedure and she is a different baby. She is feeding so much better, way more comfortable overall and doesn't struggle with colic or wind anymore. I could rave about Deirdre for the day, she is absolutely amazing and we can't thank her enough!

Couldn’t recommend Deirdre highly enough for any tongue-tie issues with your baby. We have been to Deirdre for two of our babies now, she was a huge support in helping us with very painful feeding and latch issues. She has a lovely calm and gentle manner with baby and makes the whole process feel as relaxed as possible. Deirdre is incredible to deal with. Really goes above and beyond in helping with the baby and feeding in general. The procedure itself its quick and the baby settles after about 5 seconds thanks to Dierdres good way with the baby. Deirdre arranges a follow up package to see how it is healing and to offer advice on the exercises. Theres a changing and feeding room up there which helps relieve the stress of bringing a new born somewhere. In all honesty we couldn't recommend Deirdre enough.

Deirdre is amazing to work with. She takes her time during the assessment to explain all about a tongue tie and the various impacts it may have on your baby. This was a fascinating and very informative conversation, and due to her understanding of the issue she was able to describe in detail the different issues we were seeing without us saying anything. One important element I have to say is that she takes her time and gets to know your child before doing anything, this is amazing as many medical professionals today only talk to the parents. During our follow up appointment Deirdre took the time to chat with us and give us some very helpful pointers around feeding and winding. I really can not put into words how great Deirdre is with babies and how easy she makes the whole issue. I’d encourage any parent who thinks their child may have a tongue tie to go for a consult and get it checked out. We were so glad we did. We had our twin baby girl assessed and reviewed by Deirdre for tongue tie. She was diagnosed with a posterior tongue tie. Deirdre was incredibly brilliant at soothing and releasing the tie. We had a follow up appointment and her assessment and advice was fantastic as she referred us for a paediatrician review to further assess the baby’s weight gain. We attended Deirdre’s Clinic last month when our son was 5 days old. We would highly recommend Deirdre’s clinic. Our son struggled with feeding issues because of his tongue tie from birth and we noticed an instant improvement from when it was cut and in particular the weeks after when we undertook the exercises she provided. She gave us great advice around feeding which also helped us and she provided a great follow up consultation. She is exceptionally trained, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.
