Dunnes Stores in Blackpool is another great Dunnes Stores location in Cork City. And like the other Dunnes locations in Cork, there is two open shopping areas, one for clothing and homeware and the other is a grocery and food shopping! The grocery area has a wide range of food items from fresh fruit and veg! There is also a selection of fully cooked and ready to go meals! There is a large fridge and freezer section full of great produce!

I took My mother shopping and she bought Mince beef in Blackpool , cork last Thursday. dunnes own brand. She made shepherds pie today and had to throw it out. Full of bits of crushed bone and gristle. My mam is 86 and I had to organise a delivery of food for her and my dad ( 90 ). Quality control needs to be better and procedures reviewed.

Great staff, very helpful. Nice to see high staffing levels. Well stocked and well run store. 2023 Update: Standards have dropped, place is dirty, untidy and stock missing, price labels missing or incorrect product. A lot of the staff have left, and now college students show a lack of care and / or knowledge. Empty boxes left on the shelves or floor. Stocking trolleys left blocking the isles. Customers have to move around staff.

It was so busy today at approx one o'clock and two. The staff were so Lovely. Wishing everyone happy new year, plus I ordered my salmon to be filleted and forgot to go back to counter and the lady came and found me Phillip is also such a wonderful help always. Giving advise about the fresh meats. The lady at the fishe counter is Mary and Aoife who is new is so willing to learn and do lovely with the customers. I love Dunnes in ballyvolane. The cashier today was Sonia. Maura Marie and Tina are the staples of the store.

Dunnes Stores staff 100% females are really awesome!!! Never had any bad experience and I must also say that cashiers when customers not want to take a vouchers are giving them away to other customer who need it .This is so generous and deserve all the respect in these days BRAVO

One bad experience after another here. Clothing is a good selection, but lacking is some sizes. Many items marked with incorrect price or in a few cases same item with two different prices displayed. Items stocked in wrong shelf, so items displayed with price of other items. Bought dunnes own brand cheese here opened a few weeks later still well within best before date it was mouldy and disgusting they would not refund the payment without a receipt which is poor customer service on duel levels. Saw staff spraying who knows what beside uncovered food. Touching fresh cakes with used gloves. I could go on. I would give this dunnes 1 star but to its credit I have had ok experiences here usually.

Prices are moderate, most household stuff are there plus you can some savings on your shopping.

A large clean store,that offers good value. Just a shame they can't keep the Mens clothes section stocked with all sizes. Small and medium we're the only options
