I emailed them from India to get a surprise delivery of some desserts for my sister’s Birthday. It was a very pleasant Experience and Patrick was kind enough to call me from there and take my order and instructions. I ordered for a Curly Wurly cake , wild berries and almond tart and a chocolate roulade . The delivery was done exactly when i wanted and reached my sister perfectly. She told me it was scrumptious and I’m super happy :)

It was unfortunately the most disappointing experience with one of the staff in Cinnamon Cottage, Rochestown, Cork today. Bought 4 sausage rolls, out of which 1 sausage roll fell on the ground tearing the packing on the cafe’s door. I went back to the counter to buy 1 more and returned the fallen piece to throw in the garbage. The lady took the fallen piece in one hand, picked up the fresh piece in another hand, but while putting in the microwave to heat, she put the fallen piece in the tray to heat and to serve back to me. As I was vigilant, I noticed it and reminded her. She declined it stating this was the fresh piece, but as I was carefully observing her, I knew it wasn’t. I therefore asked her to give me a fresh piece again, which she thereafter did. Later twice she asked me to step out of the cafe and collect the sausage roll from the window. I said I am fine to stand in the cafe and collect my order in front of me. In this pandemic situation, is this the level of sanitation and hygiene you are observing ? I am absolutely disgusted by your behaviour and will never ever step into your cafe to buy anything! 👎🏻

I always shop here every 2 weeks with my Mum. Excellent choice as always. Fresh produce. Purchased their delicious Simnel 🐣 Easter cake yesterday 35 euro expensive but worth it. Always purchase their fresh duo packed chicken handy for the freezer always have in lemon or pepper choice. Delicious Homade sausage rolls 18 euro a box again handy to have tasty with relishes. Fresh breads, cakes for all occasions Fresh and some frozen. Purchased a frozen large Black Forest cake for a birthday family surprise left I'm fridge over night perfect the next day. Delicious deli products love there turkey and ham freshly sliced. Lovely pies too. Choice wines, Turkish delights, fresh scones. Single and duo portions of all food made available rice's soups sauces. No excuse. Handy for solo living for some people or just as daily day off treats. Grab a delicious coffee whilst there . Soooo good.

After spending a delightful afternoon exploring The Cinnamon Cottage, I can't help but rave about their festive menu. Kinder bueno chocolate cake wasn't fresh . The cake sponge and garnish felt as if it wasn't prepared the same day and been in the fridge for some time. Everybody at the party noticed the same thing. Anyways, I hope it improves in the future 🤞

The raspberry white chocolate tart is always excellent. Great they have it in a gluten free option too so coeliacs or anyone intolerant can enjoy that delicious filling too.
