This is a a great bar . I have come a few times and the food is always good and plenty of it and no time wasted serving us . The white wine from NZ was fantastic I wish I could have stayed longer . Janet served us and was very helpful and friendly. I met Derek the owner and he was very friendly . His father came around to make sure everyone was happy with their food . It’s a lovely family run business. Who care about their standards. If you in the airport and looking for bar food quickly served this is definitely the place to visit . It has a lovely pub atmosphere inside and places to sit outside in a summers day . And lots of parking spaces a god send 🚗🚕

I had a business lunch with some Spanish visitors in your pub today. I wanted them to experience a bit Irish culture and you surpassed all my expectations. My guests had cornbeef and cabbage, pints of Guinness and a wonderful Irish welcome.

Pros- great Irish vibe, decent whiskey selection, ample seating, outdoor seating, fairly large car park, close to the airport. Cons- kitchen wasn’t open during dinner time on the time we went! It was just bad timing, but would have thought the kitchen would have been open at that hour. It was a holiday though, so that might have been the reason. Either way, cool spot with a great name 😉 and they pour a good pint.

Lovely food and comfy little pub. Manager is sound, pottering from table to table making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Recommend the cottage pie. Chips were best I had for ages. Everything fresh.

Our waitress was amazing; she catered to all of our sons' needs without my wife or I even having to ask her. The food is topnotch also and we will definitely be going back.

This was and still is a great pub .. Once you are inside you would actually forget that it is located at a cross roads( so to speak) Managed very well , great service ..

We arrived at 12:30 for lunch, waited for half an hour until 1:00pm and gave up. The pub was locked up, no sign of any staff, rubbish all around and the place looked very scruffy. It’s a shame as it used to be a great place for lunch. Luckily a quick Google search found the Five Mile Inn nearby which was excellent.

I honestly couldn't give Bull McCabrs any less than all 5 stars, anyone visiting Cork needs to visit this establishment. We arrived for dinner with our 2 young children, which as any patent knows is tough going at the best of times but our waitress was so good with both children and did so much to make their dining experience a comfortable and happy one. I was disgusted I didn't get her name but she was a gem. We all ordered different dishes and all the food was not only delicious but very generous in portion size which is not the norm anymore. It's spotless clean and has a wonderful interior, we spent so much time looking around at all the little artefacts. One of the best places we have had a family meal in and we will most definitely return.

Nice staff, quick service, the food was good, not haute cuisine, a bit too much emphasise on meat and chips for my liking but tasty, well presented and nicely cooked. Lots of working men in there for their evening meal and popularity is a great measure.

Staff are 💯 but the new chef???? The food was excellent before but it seems a new chef has taken over and does not care. Cold cottage pie with a finger mark right in the pie. Omg. HACCP level 3? Just dangerous. Won’t be back until that chef is gone. Sorry folk just had to say because the owners really care about their place.

Do a family dinner every year on 23rd, chose the Bull McCabe this year. 4 adults, 2 teens and one 5yo all very very happy with the food. Standard fare with flair, really well done, absolutely hit the spot. Chips were particularly good too. Chef put his heart in it!

No complaint about dinner or service , but it was absolute freezing. We would have stayed for more drinks but I could not feel my finger tips of toes.

4 times I've walked to this pub now on a Friday or Saturday evening and it's been closed. All the while online opening hours tell different, that's a joke.

Had a seafood platter here a year ago and it was amazing. The weather was great and we sat outside by the water. Going back again in a few weeks

It's been about 3 years since I have been there At that point the place was hopping and food served was good This time I was early , shortly after nuin but while the food was good the atmosphere was gone, poty

What an amazing place with amazing staff! We were lucky enough to have stayed in the Airbnb just above the pub for our honeymoon. We loved that we could go down to such a beautiful pub when ever we needed food or drinks! The food is delicious and the drinks are great! Derek is such a sweet owner and we loved the chats we had with him in his pub. We can't wait to visit again!
