Appalling service and extremely unwelcoming attitude from the manager. An older gentleman, in a black top, presumably the owner/manager started to give out to his younger employee in front of us over giving us a table for two when it wasn’t available. No alternative was given and he continued to give out to his coworker while we tried to ease the situation. The girl was extremely nice but the manager was horrible and rude. We will never try this place again. Improve your manners.

A surprisingly spacious wine bar in a Georgian building with two floors. Worth a visit. Friendly service.

This is one of Corks hidden gems , a truly unique place with amazing staff and wine . I cannot comment on cheese boards etc but assume they are good too . I love going in here as the atmosphere is second to none. The only thing I would say is that the last 2 times I have been in there it has been very very cold , I do know energy rates are high ,and that it is a v old building but If the open fire could make a come back it would be one of the best spots in ireland . The electric replacement doesn’t quite cut it ! Thanks and see ye soon !

The best Cork Wine Bar. It is always playing Jazz in the radio, and the Staff are always kind. They have fairly priced wines in a vintage atmosphere. They just open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm to 11h30pm

It was a surprise to meet this small but cozy place that you can drink a good wine while looking at the collection of clothes they have on display.

Love it. Great little atmosphere on a Saturday night and a little bit different to everywhere else in Cork. Nice staff too.

Lovely cosy wine bar with very friendly unpretentious service and an unusual selection of wines by the glass. The setting and atmosphere is very unique and chilled! Certainly well worth a visit.

This place is a gem in the heart of Cork to enjoy some nice wine and relax after a long day. I often go there with my partner. Also, recently, I organized an event at Meade's for about 15 people. The staff were very understanding, friendly, and helpful. People I invited loved the place, I am sure they gained a few regular customers that night! Thanks for all the understanding!

Hidden gem in city centre 6 stars for atmosphere, no star for tapas (nothing vegan) and just 3 stars for wine selection.

A wonderfully cosy place with candlelit setting, and more spacious then it appears. Nice wine selection, a few snacks available. A quiet place so you can chat and enjoy. Hidden gem

Nice location, really bad selection of wines. Glasses available only of 8 wines, tried 3 and none good. Short selection of bottles, definitely not enough for a wine bar. No alternatives to wine as well.. It's a pity because the staff and the location are nice
