Food was nice. Wine was lovely. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. My only complaint would be change the font of the menu. I found it really hard to read.

It was my first time at this lovely restaurant. Didn’t have a booking and only noticed it when I passed by. Popped in and discovered this hidden gem❤️ You don’t always get to say the food’s authentic Italian, but this place truly transports you to the heart of Italy. The chef prepares authentic Italian dishes from various regions of Italy. They also explain the dishes on the menu extensively. Definitely going back here! Do try this restaurant if you love Italian!

3.5 to 4. Food was delicious. Really nice. Prawn soup starter and lasagne with potatoes and cabbage for mains were both delicious. Focaccia homemade bread very fresh and delicious. A different experience for me. Portions were good, i probably could have eaten a small bit more. The food I had here was almost as delicious and fresh as when I was in Italy. I took a star away for the price. I do know Ireland is expensive and that dining in Italy is a bit cheaper, especially outside of Rome, but it was hard not to compare. Overall, I would recommend and will return.

Great dining experience at Da Mirco. I adored the fish of the day and rocket leaves, strawberries with focaccia. Prices are expensive. Staff is friendly and smiling. Staff recommendations were brilliant. Almond liquor at the end must try! Make a reservation beforehand.

Just disappointed that I overlooked this place for so long. Don't let looks deceive you; this is one of the best restaurants in the city with authentic Italian food. Worth dropping a few quid to really enjoy the menu. Service is very good too

Friday was my first time eating at Da Mirco Osteria's! Its been on my on my list for months and it was totally worth the wait! I can't figure out how I never ate here before this weekend! Da Mirco Osteria's is another hidden gem in Cork City! From talking with the owner you can really see why the food here is authentically Italian! The proprietor selects a monthly menu of various dishes from various regions of Italy. This makes every trip different and unique! The staff and the proprietor are very friendly and attentive! They will explain each dish on the menu extensively sonyou will know exactluly what you are ordering! The food was delicious and it really felt like a homemade Italian meal. For starters I had the calamari and potatoes for a starter and my partner had the gnocchi and for the mains I had the Pork and my partner had the Braised Beef Cheek. All the dishes were amazing! I really mean that! The Pork was so delicious and the reduction it came with was amazing! Definitely the best Italian food I have had in Ireland and I didn't even have to leave my own door step We both chose the same desert whcih was their special on the night we were there. It was a chocolate hazel nut chilled moose and it really hit the spot after an amazing meal! They also served the table with a homemade Focaccia bread which was very fresh and delicious! We also had a shot of Limoncello to have after the meal! As for the price I would say it is more expensive than a normal iriah resturant however, this is not a normal dining experience and it is totally worth coming for a treat or special occasion! We will definitely be coming back to sample the unique monthly menu when we decide to have a nice evening out for a meal! If you are looking for Italian food then you must try this restaurant and I really love that it is in Cork City!

Nice little restaurant but could have used some music for atmosphere as it felt very quiet like we had to whisper. Both appetizers were very good, the meat and cheese board and the burrata with polenta, pictured here. I had the special pasta and that was very nice but my partner had the ragu and it was good, just nothing too special. We tried 2 different glasses of wine and both were just ok. Tiramisu was the best part of the meal though, would not skip out on that. Really nice wait staff as well.

We dropped in on the Wednesday without a reservation. The manager gave us the deal: we had 1.5 hours (.it’s usually 2hours) before their next booking. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for my boyfriend’s 45th birthday dinner. He loves nourishing, tasty food - and somewhere clean, spacious and comfortable to enjoy it. I had a basic salad(but there is enough choice to eat well and try something new on a gluten-free diet, as I am coeliac) and he had a yummy looking chicken dish. I love an aperitif and we each got one each: aperol & mirto spritzers. Go here if you figure you deserve a treat with kind, friendly staff to boot.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. The food is super and the service is wonderful. Highly recommend the calamaro. Everything tastes really good but the calamaro is the best.

Not recommend for a birthday occasion. Firstly no music Secondly we were extra charged 12 euros for just eating the cake we brought there which we never experienced in so many restaurants celebrating birthdays Thirdly we were originally rejected to order some extra drinks when it was 8:20pm and the restaurant closes at 9pm. I understand the booking had time limit but would you be considered for a birthday occasion… Our requirements were all rejected originally when asking to eat cake there and when ordering some extra drinks. Not very pleasant experience. For your reference.

Dined here just yesterday, we didn’t have a booking but luckily they had room. Delicious food, the Cannoloni and chicken dish for mains were both really nice. The meat and cheeseboard for a starter was also delicious 😍. Not cheep but you get what you pay for! Only restaurant in Cork with traditional Italian food.

Loved by the Irish Times, so had to check it out. Beautiful and simple food yet exceptional because of that simplicity. Great value as well.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in Cork recently. The food was superb, especially the hake, which was a special when we visited. The cured meats board was also excellent, as well as the ragu. On top of all that, the service was excellent!

We've been meaning to come here for years and finally made the trip yesterday and it didn't disappoint. Both of us are vegetarian and usually we're not sure what to expect from restaurants but we were delighted with our experience. Most of the dishes could easily be made vegetarian for us without compromising on flavour. We could tell that the chefs put as much effort in for our dishes as with everyone else's. Very knowledgeable and pleasant wait staff. Delicious wine and aperitifs too! We had a great time and can't wait to come back.

We cannot fault the valentine’s special. We loved every dish of it. Micro’s hospitality is exceptional.

Superb food and service. There are a small number of items on the menu, but everything seems to be made with care and dedication. I also noticed the head chef come out to discuss food options with a vegan customer to ensure that they would receive high quality food that was suitable for them. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Was blown away by this restaurant, The first inkling that you are onto a winner is the small menu - so you know they are focus on doing what they do well rather than trying to too many things…. Portion sizes were perfect. Quality produce and delicious fresh pasta - Would definitely recommend to other to try out… I’ll certainly be back to try out the tasting menu!

Heavenly, authentic Italian restaurant. Six of us visited Da Mirco for dinner. We were amazed by the delicious dishes and they were great at accommodating our dietary requirements. It's definitely an experience that is not to be missed.

First time visit last night. Busy when we arrived. Always a good sign. I had been on holidays in Italy 2 months ago and the food here was as good as the best meals I had in Italy. Well presented, very tasty and very good service. Will definitely return.

Outstanding. We've been to Italy approx 10 times and this is absolutely the best Italian food all 3 of us have ever had. All 3 dishes tonight perfect, Surely that's rare anywhere. Service was also lovely and of course what a great atmosphere with that fabulous window. Looking forward to next time.

Da Mirco is the authentic Italian experience in Cork, quite litterally the best restaurant in Cork. We went for a small birthday party and had some the best dishes ever ordered since in Ireland. Trust Mirco's suggestions and make sure you check the wine list, quite extensive with some very high quality Italian selection.

Amazing food, so delicious. Great value considering the very high quality of food and service. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed everything massively. Wheelchair accessiblility is difficult however and unfortunately toilets are not accessible.

My Fiancée and I went to Da Mirco for the first time last night! I cannot believe we hadn't done so before. The whole experience was exceptional! My partner has not stopped talking about it since. Everything from the food, the atmosphere and of course the extremely friendly host, Mirco himself! It really is like a little piece of Italy in Cork City; very authentic! We cannot wait to go back again.

This place was a small Italian Home in the Cork,Ireland. The food was delicious and classy homemade Italian food. According to my bf who is from that Italian region, it was heaven. I swear we were so happy. The owner and the staff made the environment like eating at home and talking and having fun. Thank You So Much For The Wonderful Food.!😍🥰😘♥️
