1. The Staff: the staff are always great. They are Always very approachable and helpful and friendly. 2. Cleanliness: This chipper is Always very clean. 3. Food: There is a big selection of food and drinks. Sometimes its to hard to choose. 4. Prices: i find everything on the menu to be reasonable. An order must be over ten euro before you can use a laser card. 5. Car Parking: there is car parking all along the street. 6. Others: best chipper ever. 7. Complaints: garlic mushrooms are needed on the menu :)

What are people raving about. The chips were good, the curry was good. The onion rings were a disaster. We ordered chips cheese and garlic but got chips cheese and curry. Tried it, won't be returning.

Chips are okay. A hamburger and customer service were on the same level. I don't think I will ever be that desperate to visit this place again.

All I will say that they can serve you large taco fries in a burger box topped with some plastic bag inside I guess that's for cheese to melt...

The best chips and Philly steak in town. Missed this place for a while and after few months managed to detour to get food there. You can't go wrong here. Great prices and really good food!

Not the same old murphys portions have got smaller and still forget the odd pie or sausage it's now something to have for lunch rather than dinner

Murphy's in Blackpool, is one place everyone should try out at least once in there life, food here is fantastic, staff are friendly and very professional, prices are one of the best in Cork, this is definitely one of the best chip shops in Cork

Portion size of a large chip is scanty to be fair. 4€ for a large chip that has a euro worth of chips in it. Sound!

They didn't ask if I wanted salt and vinegar so I didn't enjoy what could have been a lovely meal.

The best chipper in Cork, great value, big portions, freshly cooked. Authentic experience of chipper. It seems the sloppy Foley is there signature wrap. Quite substantial.

Local chip shop that has probably outgrown this location. There is little or no parking outside best to visit on foot. There is only a small space inside so when busy it's quite cramped. It's busy quite a lot. So be prepared. The food is lovely and the owner is a really nice guy.

We ordered chips+cheese, chips+cheese+garlic and sloppy that contains chips also. All the chips were raw. Literally raw. I've tried to call them but no one is answering the phone.

Brilliant chipper, my favourite here is the Sloppy Foley. It's just unbelievable. Also like there proper chips and pies

They don't answer the phone. Like totally ignoring it. Weird. Edit: walked into the shop with phone in my hand, one person in the queue. Phone ringing, nobody answering. Three staff. I've been told "we are busy.."... full baskets of chips nobody buying them. They obviously weren't busy. I wanted to order few meals for me and my friends over the phone so I don't have to wait, but it seems they are not interested in taking orders tonight. Nice fake eyelashes though.

Very cheap compared to other takeaway and generally good quality food, it’s not as good as it used to be but still leaps above any chipper up in the north side of the city. The sloppy foley is a classic and is something everyone should try at least once.

Tried for the first time on Sunday after seeing richies food review. Sloppy foley was gorgeous also tried battered sausage and garlic mushrooms. Couldn't fault any of it. Only thing is why is this place not advertised more. Savage food and so cheap too. Murphys chipper is a hidden gem.

Reasonable price and best chipper I've been to in cork. Bit of an obscure location but the food is excellent. Great curry chips
