The park is vast and beautiful. There are rabbits that can be found while walking if lucky. River Lee passes next to the park and is just breathtaking...

A beautiful huge park, multifunctional and has something for everyone. Lovely walks ranging from a simple 1km to a tougher 7km. Flagged and signposted, suitable for a gentle amble or a serious run. Full size football pitches, basketball courts, full playground, loads of room for flying kites, drones, any sports you want. Outdoor gym equipment for dad or mam. Near to playground. Gorgeous river and waterfall alongside walk. Forest area too. Definitely a must visit place.

One of my best places in Ballincollig and maybe in all county. Magic paths, cheerful kids at playground, competitive buds at coaches, calm river and astonishing sunsets

Amazing park for a walk in Cork. There are many trails to follow and te place is full of amazing views. One of my favourites is the river trail, for it has a river flowing besides you.

Love this park, so many different routes to take and great pathways for running through the fields and along the river. Never get bored of the scenery. The skate park, basketball court and playgrounds are amazing amenities for kids too

This is a multifunctional public park with a lot of ameanities and there is something for everyone. It is an ideal location to grab coffee or tea and have some lunch on the picnic benches and enjoy the lovely views of the river Lee! There are a number of beautiful walks and trails which are flagged and signposted, ranging from a short 1km loop around the sports fields to a longer 7km trail following the river, sports fields and the Gunpowder Site. Ideal for running and walking along! The facilities in the park also include a number of full size football pitches, GAA pitch, basketball courts, full playground, outdoor gym and a nice skate board area for kids! Near the main entrance carpark by the river there is a little free library whoch is a great idea. Its a great honesty library and has a range of books for adults as well as kids! The old Gunpowder site is also located here and there is a load of history to look up! It is definitely a great park to visit!

Nice place for walk, play groud for kids, green field for football....for pets... Pay extra cautious in the evening when get dark (not a safe place to walk if you are alone) , there is a pannel were you can see the opening hours at the entrance, stick to it.

Nice and spacious park for the whole family. 1. Main car park is near the kids playground. There's coffee and cake to be bought. 2. 2nd car park has a crêpe van in the weekend 3. Great for jogging and dog walking 4. Path next to the river has beautiful views.

Plenty of open spaces. It has big play ground for the kids in addition to several pitches for football and basketball. You have several nice walks beside the river +WC. There is a small coffee (no place to set)

Fabulous park with excellent paths. Signs on trees explaining how they grow etc as well as many species of trees named. Super playgrounds for children. Park wardens/ workers in abundance keeping this beautiful park in pristine condition. Great seeing so many seats around the park also. Good car park. Nice to be able to buy refreshments as well as good public lavatory facility. Highly recommend this park! 5*+

Beautiful park with great tarmac paths for buggies and bikes. They usually have a coffee and maybe a crepe van in the car park. Unfortunately though, there are no toilets.

Lovely place to walk, cycle, run, bring kids, hang out with friends and family. It’s one of my favourite spots. Only downside are people walking their dogs off lead despite numerous signs up saying to keep them on a lead at all times.

Great place for all walkers. Whether you want a stroll by the river , take your kids on their bikes, or through the fairy trail , train for your 5k. Or just sit and enjoy nature .. forgot to mention the state if the art playgrounds, basketball and sports courts . This park has it all . Two criticisms, parking is very tight and needs more public toilets .

Great place for a walk and children will have great fun in the playground. You can get coffee and cake from mobile coffee dock. The lack of toilets can be a problem.

A lovely place to spend some time in contact with nature. It might get a little crowded as of late, though. Also, some vandalism has been happening. Burned benches, burned bathroom, burned trees. And a whole historical buildings as well! As of late, runs are organised every weekend. So try to be there early, to avoid the crowd.

This is a wonderful park close to Ballincollig Town. It has lots of walking options (mostly paved and some stone/dirt areas). It has lots of seating, pitches with goals in place, enclosed (fenced) basketball and football areas and a children's play area (slides, swings etc). There is also a river side walk and a fairy trail too. Its a very popular location and has pedestrian access and car parks. Also located next to the car park is a skate park (at the west entrance). Also to be found are the gunpowder Mills and other historical locations of interest. One of Corks best parks by far.

Fantastic views, beautiful flowers and wildlife. There is plenty of things to do, walking, cycling, skatepark, playground, soccer pitches, picnic tables, benches. Ballincollig Gun Powdermills. But, unfortunately there are no public toilets.

Stopped off here to kill a couple of hours before going to Cork Airport. A beautiful well maintained park, with many walkways. Really well looked after with hardly any litter seen. Loads of people there making use of the facilities, running paths, walkways, playground, exercise machines etc.... And its all free including the parking.
