So many switchbacks to head down from the parking lot. 18 in fact. Maximization of asphalt and handrails, minimization of natural plants and foliage. Quite excessive. And lots of trash in the water ways, beside the path, in the forest. I would skip this park. The best part was the overlook where garbage was too far to see. Actually, negate that. Amongst the dandelions in the picture you can see trash.

Great little park in the heart of the city, lovely atmosphere and a good place to unwind, the park has alot of character with people who care about keeping it as tidy as possible with no help from local authorities. There is a parkrun weekly on a Saturday morning which I love bringing my 11 year daughter too with very friendly and helpful people organising this event, This park brings alot of joy to alot of people...

I live a stones throw from here and it's a beautiful and peaceful place for a walk/run/cycle.

Definitely one of our favourite parks in city it’s quiet. Love to come there in the mornings while kids are at school, so peaceful, in the evenings I recommend always have a buddy just beeing Precautious. The only downside of it is ppl dropping rubbish (motorbikes also in bushes) this could be monitored i hope in future. Used to be lovely tree sitting spot but it was destroyed year ago and now is a danger last time been there (3 weeks ago maybe). Park lacking toilet (wish they had one but probably it will be destroyed)

Lovely park, close to the centre of the city. The weekly parkrun here every Saturday at 9.30am makes it a great part of the community too. Very nice spot for a stroll by the river!

I haven't explored the glen park at all (to my shame) but while passing the other bight, I noticed it was on fire. Queue call to the Gardaí and Fire Brigade. Some damage to the biodiversity of the park but hopefully it'll recover. Will be a shame if this happens again (seems to have been a problem recently with people starting fires either intentionally or accidentally).

A beautiful, almost wild place in the heart of Cork City! Incredible nature that takes you out of the walls and ceilings, faraway from the sounds of human activities. I recommend!

I couldn't find the park, I think Google need a update for this place, the only thing I found was grass which you can't walk
