Cracking play area - a highlight for our child of a day exploring Cork. Good for a wide range of ages, lots to explore and pretty challenging in places. On a sunny day it's busy after school, but a handy toilet and water fountain, plus a Mr Whippy van.

Children really like this game island. They play and ride the swing with delight. The occasions around the rides are made of soft coating so that children are not injured during a fall. A little upset the paid toilet. No, it's done great, but people who visit this office should aim better.

Amazing park with lots to see and do for kids, open space with shade on the sunny days, cafe, relaxing water fountain, great big playground for kids all in the one place. Highly recommended for chilled out family time.

Spent an hour here to wind down under the Autumn leaves. Lots of photo opportunities, plenty of parking and on a bus route. The museum was very interesting. All about Cork. That's what it is on the Banks of my own lovely Lee.

Huge area for small and big kids with a vast range of slides, swings, seesaws, climbing walls, etc.! One of the very few playgrounds in Cork with an actual sandpit! Lots of benches and picnic tables around but parents - beware! Your child will be hard to watch as there are so many places to go, so many places to hide! 😁

We love this playground. It is spacious, has plenty of bench seating, feels safe, has enough activities for the kids. It does have parts though that if you sit on a bench as a parent you won’t be able to see all parts of the playground. There is also green space next to it for soccer etc. as well as a flat paved path around the entire playground. Cool graffiti wall too.

Fitzgerald Park. One of the best parks in Europe. In the nineteenth century. And still today has an up graded play ground. A state of the art music venue. And a not so hanging garden feature. Also a museum. And refreshments. But the up keep of the gardens. Are a little bit of an eye sore. Pity.

The nicest park in the city proper. It has a large and we'll mantained playground as well as a beautiful park, a great cafe and usually a great old fashioned ice cream truck, my favorite 99 in Cork.
