So lovely to visit and find the house and grounds open too. I have never been in the grounds or The Priory before. Well worth a visit when they next have an open day. You don't need tickets and it's free entry.

Unfortunately when we arrived there was filming going on so we weren't allowed into it, tried to find out what they were filming but security said they didn't even know, but you can see bits of it and the gate house. The church is worth a visit as well, don't forget to go though the middle door at the back of the church as well.

Interesting place to visit, if you are in the Bridgend area, car parking and entry is free. Ewenny Priory dates back to the 12th century and there are various remains to look at including the walls and gatehouse. The church is architecturally intesting and is still in use as the parish church. We also enjoyed the grounds and deer walk. Unusually for a Cadw property signage isn't great and it's hard to work out which areas are private.

It's free to enter. There's not much to look around so I wouldn't travel here just to see the priory unless I lived nearby, but if you're heading to an attraction in the surrounding area like Ogmore Beach or Dunraven Bay (Southerndown) it's worth a visit on the way or on the way back. Although, backtracking a little on my comments, the priory is set in beautiful surroundings, so it would probably be a nice place to come and relax in the sunshine or under the shade of a tree and while away the day to the sound of pheasants and peacocks that can both be seen here (although on my first visit the peacocks decided to torment me, calling out from every direction but never revealing themselves 😂).

Amazing venue. Our daughter's wedding celebration was held here. Really beautiful and scenic location (assuming good weather). Loads of room for marquees, good parking. We couldn't have wished for a better location.

Such an interesting place, pity so much of it has disappeared or is in private ownership, ghe Church is well worth a visit and you can access the monastic areas behind the altar. It is well worth buying the little guidebook available there

Fascinating! First time visit - there's so much of the original priory available to see if you go into the church.

Free to visit. We were the only visitors so we were free to explore all the Abbey and artefacts with kids without disturbing anyone else. There is not a large amount to see but this was a good choice for a drizzly morning. Nice walking route is possible too.

Beautiful Norman Priory Church. Surrounded by defensive walls.

Wonderful Norman church, part of a rare fortified priory. Fascinating history and beauty at the same time. Well worth the visit.

So tranquil a setting near farm and house. Obviously a very busy place in the Vale. Now a delight to see and touch the stones. Peacock surprised us as did pheasant in grounds.

A place of quiet contemplation that in times past was an important part of life in the area. Although the priory is a ruin, the associated church contains information of historical interest. Free to visit but no onsite amenities although these are available close by.

Ancient Priory ,very informative, although some of it is not accessible , It's free to enter and no car parking fee although there's limited parking space,The church is disabled friendly but no toilet for the public.

This is a great place to visit, shame more of the grounds was not open to see more of the old priory. The building is amazing with some well kept masonry from the old buildings. It is a small place but such a beautyful place too.
