I always choose Coronado dog beach for my walks with my beautiful and adorable dog. She's a Vizsla and loves our time there. People and dogs are always friendly and respectful of one another. It's a happy place to spend time!

Big grassy field...small play structure. Bathrooms across the street at the beach. Free street parking which is ridiculous in the spring/summer. Cool place to watch military airplanes/helicopters landing. No dogs allowed although dog beach is across the street.

It is a beautiful place but be careful! No guardrails. We saw someone fall into the water who climbed on a rock that ended up being slippery. She needed to be rescued and taken to the hospital. She was not a strong swimmer and was being thrown against rocks by the waves.
