Great vibe, nice happy hour and good food. Lots of out door seating with patio heaters and Firepit tables. Kid friendly and pet friendly. Happy hour deals are right on the menu and they include drinks and food. Service was fast and friendly and the drinks kept flowing. We will be back to enjoy more of the menu, vegetarian options. I always make a stop here during my vacation and I love the food and atmosphere here. They have great live music and the place is very welcoming. I ordered the Shepherd’s Pie which was excellent and our server was very attentive. I highly recommend getting the Shepard’s Pie or Fish & Chips from here.

Onion Rings and BBQ salad was excellent. Beer was cold 😀. Enjoyed sitting outside and Tara, our waitress, was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back.

I wasn’t expecting much from McP’s since it looked like your basic Irish pub, but boy was I wrong! The service is so friendly and you immediately feel at home once you’re there. (Side note: I saw the entire staff taking great care of a little boy who was absolutely starving and they treated him so kindly and got his food out so quickly.) The onion rings not only had a great presentation but tasted great as well. The onion didn’t all fall out of the breaded part which was nice. I only wish I had eaten less so I could enjoy my Impossible burger more. The burger was great but the fries were even better. Highly recommend!

Hands-down a great place to hang out! Good food and drinks, ample seating and a variety menu. Best of all, the sharable menu has some vegetarian options! The onion rings are very good, and the avacado toast is a must-have! Local beer is fantastic, and house cocktails have a wide variety.The staff is very friendly and amiable. All in all, a great spot for a relaxed evening in Coronado. Outside seating is pleasant in the evenings, with patio lights etc, but it may look very different sitting the day. Indoor seating is underwhelming, and too loud to talk. But if you're headed here in the evenings, outdoor patio (which is also dog-friendly) is the way to go!

Great pub with plenty of outdoor & indoor seating. Beer & onion rings were very good! I returned after going to the theater across the street & had another beer with a Reuben sandwich. It was a perfect combo to top off the day!

Ok, I will start out with typical SEAL bar, but that's ok. They have great food and cool beer. The service is good, and they keep it clean, so if u are in Coronado and want a drink or something to eat, stop here. it's a good place.

The bangers and mash are very good. I ordered it without sweet peas though. The service was good. I love the outdoor seating. Good prices for the amount of food. Not much parking, but that's typical for the area.

Good food! A tad pricey but isn’t everything these days? Service a bit slow as teens take their time but they’re very nice. Got the fish and chips. Large filets of cod lightly coated and fried along with great chips! Would recommend. Pretzel bites were light on the inside and crispy on the outside, freshly baked!

loved everything. Our server was attentive, food came out fast, super fresh and omg delicious! Lots of vegetarian options. The impossible burger was one of the best in we’ve had. Overall a great experience for us!

Something happened to food and other reviews show the same as coming here after boating at Seaforth for many years but this time it's off. Shepard's Pie was a hit but now it seems like canned ground meat with instant mash and some corn and peas with cheese thrown on top. Lacked flavor and seemed very basic compared to prior visits. Staff was awesome and attentive. My group of people seem to side with me in terms of food - again something changed in that kitchen. Even my meatball sandwich which had good amt of cheese n sauce but meatballs had barely any flavor and maybe came from an old frozen bag. From all the years coming here, this was my last.

If you are looking for a fun hole in the wall bar and grill this is a great pick. Large patio area. Food was delicious, try the Irish fries! Drinks are good and they have a pretty diverse selection. Parking can be difficult, small parking lot behind the bar and the rest is street parking.

Great service, food, atmosphere, all of it! Perfect spot to grab a drink, lunch, or dinner. Tried the elote dip and ABC burger. Delicious!

Had an amazing lunch at McP's Irish Pub. Had ordered Fish & Chips and Hot Chocolate and both items were really good. The Fish & Chips were honestly the best I've ever had and I highly recommend them. They have a great vibe with the military atmosphere around, so that's something great. Special shout-out to Sean who made my time there enjoyable with his great conversations and awesome service. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in Coronado.

McP's is a well-known pub and grill in Coronado. It's popular with military service personnel and locals, too. Filled with Navy SEAL memorabilia. There's a large outdoor dining area that is dog friendly. Favorite dishes are sheppard's pie or fish and chips. The have a full bar. It's been a Coronado iconic destination for decades.

So I really want to give this place a good review. The service was great, they love American, support our troops and they are dog friendly. But unfortunately the food was eh. The quality of food was not great either. We all had different things the philly cheese steak and the roast beef dip neither of them had very much flavor. The onion rings on the other hand we bomb. The fish taco was lacking. The chicken lettuce wraps were ok once you added some of the sauces to them and hot sauce. The fries were good. Maybe if you stick to bar food it would be ok.

Nice place. Out door seating was nice, but the music was a little loud. Our table was next to a speaker, so maybe it wasn't too loud for everyone else. Food was pretty good. French dip was slightly bland, but the bread was really fresh!

Went with a group of friends. Appetizers were yummy. We tried the pretzel Stix, meatball skillet and the Buffalo wings. All were delicious. Most of the crew had burgers that were huge and juicy, one had fish and chips, and one tried the rueben sandwich. No complaints and we were stuffed. Beer was good too. Quick service and friendly staff.

McP's is the happening place in Coronado. Great food and drinks are flowing. Patio and indoor seating. Music is always good and live entertainment nightly. Come hang with the locals and the out-of-town guests.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The food was amazing 🤩 I got Mulligan Stew and it was delicious! My hubs got Shepherds pie. Our kids got club sandwich, McSliders, and Fish and chips. Everything was fantastic. Although I would say my stew was the best. So delicious.

My husband was in the Navy and spent some time with the Seals as well. I enjoy coming to this place and seeing all the history! Food was good as well. We will always come back! Was back on Wednesday:) 😃

Amazing food! The burgers are insane. The mixed drinks are medium sized and on the edge of weak, but still tasty. The beer selection is very standard.
