Stopped here during a self-guided tour in Coronado with my family. It was a warm Tuesday, but it wasn't busy. My nephews were able to sample the flavors, which one of them Cinnamon and I got Tiramasu. Both were really good, but I liked my nephew's Cinnamon more. My brother got Crème Brûlée, which I like over my Tiramasu as well. I guess I wasn't feeling like Tiramasu that day. There were four different sizes (Kids, Small, Medium, and Large). I got a Kid-size, which is just a scoop and satisfied my small sweet tooth at the time. I would consider coming again if I was in the immediate area.

This place never fails to disappoint. Ice cream was great and staff was polite. You can never go wrong with their Strawberry flavored ice cream!

Delicious affogatos - probably some of the best I’ve had. Got the cardamom and hazelnut; the hazelnut paired with with the espresso really well, super smooth.

We were in the area and got some gelato while waiting for our table at a restaurant across the street, we had just finished at the San Diego zoo so we were tired and hungry! This gelato place was good. Personally I don’t eat a lot of ice cream so I always get the kids size. I couldn’t even finish mine. I got chocolate because I’m a chocolate lover. But if you see any flavors you might be iffy about, ask to try the sample. The Nutella was really good and it paired well with the banana flavor as well!

I have only one word to summarize my experience at Nado Gelato: DELICIOUS!!! All the flavors I tried were awesome, but lemon sorbet, and strawberry basil were definitely my favorite!! Miss it already 🥲

Yummy! The lady let us tried several flavors, I ended up getting hazelnut and lemon ice cream, both flavors awesome. My sister had a cremito (expresso and ice cream) she loved it.

This is the best gelato I've had in the U.S.! Their cantaloupe gelato is so fresh and authentic, it was incredible! Our whole group went two days in a row and couldn't stop talking about how good their flavors and quality of gelato were. We'll be back!

This is just phenomenal. I had no complaints. Plus, everything is homemade. The flavor was mouth watering and the prices were very reasonable. All coffee is brewed on the spot. The staff were super friendly. Great place to get gelato while you enjoy a walk around Coronado.

The Gelato was the smoothest I've ever had. I loved my panacotta and kiddo was in love with the black vanilla.

The staff is SO nice, gelato is perfect, coffee is great! Cute store, good prices, awesome treats.

I don't know what the difference is between ice cream and Gelato buy they do. This is the richest, creamiest, most delicious frozen confection you will eat. Don't miss this place like we almost did. It's off Orange so you might not venture past it but you will be glad you did. They are generous with their scoops. That cone is a small. It's two scoops! Then that cone. That cone is a treat on its own. Bonus - their sugar free chocolate is the most decadent chocolate I have ever tasted. I still refuse to believe that it's sugar free.

Very kind people and amazing ambiance ! However, ice cream tasted like it was sitting in the back of the fridge and old and not rich and creamy like gelato is supposed to be

My boyfriend and I have come here twice so far and we have left completely floored by the quality of the gelato here. I love all the options but usually hot with a sugar-free flavor because they are SO good. Plus, wherever we can cut out sugar is awesome. Whenever we go to Coronado, we now *have* to stop by Nado. Highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this shop while biking around Coronado. What a treat! I got a medium so I could try 3 flavors. I ended up with coffee, amaretto and chocolate. They. Were. Delicious!!! All the flavors were great but the amaretto was too die for!! Wish I lived in the San Diego area. This would be my go to sweet spot. Great custumer service.

Everything Gelato is fresh and delicious. There are accommodations if you want to eat on site. If there is a line it is worth the wait ! (Thank you for the 3hours of chopping kiwis 🥝 the Gelato was delicious 😉)

I was excited to find this place, but unfortunately, let down by the experience. The gelato (strawberry and lemon marscapone) was more like sorbet vs. the creamy, rich gelato of Italy that I knew (I’ve spent about 3 months in Italy, for reference). The serving size was also incredibly small for $4.50. :( I walked down the street a bit further to Gelato Paradiso, peered in, and found gelato that looked exactly like the gelato they serve in Italy. (And the flavors were legit Italian as well!) If I could have a do-over, I’d skip Nado and go there instead.

Yummy little spot after dinner and a walk through town. It was very clean even though there was a line outside waiting to go in. Line moved fast. Flavors are listed for what they made that day. Customer service was helpful, upbeat, and friendly. Ordered two kid size cups of Tiramisu Gelato. Tasted amazing.

You should def try their ice cream! It is amazing! Price was ok too! They provide samples but wont accept giving 2 flavours in 1 scoop, staff, 2 boys , are really nice and charming, they also give suggestions about flavours, good stop to grab an ice cream for a walk

The gelato was decent, but overly sweet, too soft and more like ice cream IMO. I've had gelato in Europe and all over the country, and this one was just alright. I have a hard time believing the hype. I also ordered a dirty chai which was also just alright too. The most memorable thing (in a bad way) was the lackluster service. The woman had something of an attitude and the staffers were discussing tipping (bad vs good) really loudly. Lol. Apparently working on a Sunday wasn't really worth it for her. 🥴

Really good Gelato and many options for gluten free and sugar free which is nice. However, they're severely lacking in comfortable seating. No one finds this comfortable. All the outdoor chairs are like this, not even a cushion sadly.
