Stopped by around noon n it was busy. My first thought as soon as i walked in was. Wow. This place is huge. The dining areas are huge. The atmosphere was cozy. The people were older generations but thats great. Cuz then u know there aint no issues. The lemonade wasnt too tart. It was delicious. My waitress took my order fast even helped me cuz it was my first time. I checked out the food pics posted on n i thought the seafood looked great. My only issue, n its not a big issue. Is the booth i was sitting at. Either i was too big or the booth was too small. But not a big deal. Plenty of tables to have sat at. I had the cat fish n 5 fried shrimp All I could say is oh wow. It was so amazingly fresh. The shrimp still had a fresh flavor of tasting just caughtm n the fried cat fiish, amazing. I especially notice the shredded lettuce n dice tomatoes. Completely fresh. I am so upset i did not know about this resturant sooner. Definately a place to check out for lunch n get the seafood. I specificately came here for fried fish n shrimp n they did not dissapoint. I will definately be coming back n i will be bringing guest. However i will be sitting at a table instead of a booth. But i will not let that affect the score. 5 outta 5 for me. Didnt run into n e issues.

South texas eats at its best! Stumbled upon this restaurant and was shocked at the value, quality, and quantity of the food. Absolutely recommend!

Staff is friendly and fast, they have breakfast after 11a and food is always fresh and delicious. They have daily lunch specials and plenty of seating but does get super busy during lunch time. I recommend to my friends and family!

Food is always good. Shrimp cocktail is one of my favorites and the seafood is fresh and delicious.

Corpus has a lot of Mexican restaurants. Most of the do breakfast. All about the same. Small differences but all pretty average. I usually order the machacado con huevo plate if they have it. If not, barbacoa con huevo plate. They had the machacado and they loaded it down. Almost more machacado than eggs. The beans and potatoes were good. Only thing lacking was the salsas. Both were plain. Service was good too.

If you’re looking for lowered expectations this is the place for you. Extraordinary greasy beans and enchiladas. Sprinkle some tums on your plate to soothe your stomach. Our waitress never brought us our corn tortillas and guacamole. Also she never returned to ask for refills. My combination #56 with shrimp and catfish was a 2 out of 10. This best item I received was a cold Modelo. Buyer beware.

Back again had the #47 and it was yummmmmy! With husband and brother who left clean plates.

My rating is somewhat poor because I looked up mexican seafood restaurants and this one had a decent rating so we decided on trying it. After trying their seafood, I quickly found out that seafood is not their strong food. They might be strong on the Mexican side of the food, but I didn't try the Mexican food. Although I might go back next time I'm in town to try it out. The Mexican plates did look waaayyyy better that the shrimp ceviche tostada and the shrimp and octopus cocktail. I know I won't go back there and ask for seafood that's for sure. The octopus was very chewy and it almost felt like I was chewing on a piece of rubber. Definitely not a pleasant experience.

Best all-around fish plates..., they give you soooo much food on your plate. And it tastes fresh, not frozen. I can never get enough of their catfish and shrimp! You get your money's worth at this place.

Giving this place five stars and I will give you what I love and what I did not love so much. Been here twice, the first time I had the street tacos and today I had the green chicken enchiladas. Both fantastic. Best mex food around and this is my new spot. Best homemade tortillas as far as Tex-Mex that we've had . And I haven't even tried their seafood yet which I think is their specialty. What I did not like. Homeless guy in the parking lot directing traffic and opening the door in hopes of a donation. The other thing was while eating a vendor came up and tried to sell us Mexican trinkets. We'll be back.

I ordered a fish plate with shrimp and oysters. And OMG those oysters were very tiny. I do understand that they don't have a choice in the quality of the food. But that is my reason for the score.

Food was good. Had me some cheese enchiladas with refried beans and some rice. Wish the waitress could have served me some more tea but she left the food with the bill and never bothered to see if we needed anything 😕.

I placed an order, then proceeded outside to wait. I was outside for about eight minutes or less to move my vehicle to the front. I then went back inside and was advised that my order was on the steel table next to wall around many customers. Most restaurants keep your order on the counter or behind the counter for customer. Then I was told it was placed there cause I wasn't in building. This has never happened before since I have been going to this establishment for years.

Best Real Authentic Mexican food. Best in Corpus I've tried almost everything they have on the menu and give it 500 if I could. Clean,service great food is true to Mexican food. Huge variety on menu.

Food was delicious. Treated my nephew from SA. He had the sampler plate. Loved everything especially the oyesters. I had the shrimp sandwich. Loaded with shrimp. Loved it. Perfect Sunday lunch.

Good place to have some good food at. I recommend the fried shrimp it's very good.

The beef supreme nachos were delicious and amazing! Love it! Will come back when I'm in corpus Christi.

This restaurant has some bomb seafood and other food as well. Js. They offer different kinds of 🐟 you can buy by the lb or piece. Tilapia, flounder, catfish etc with 🍟. Here is my tilapia and shrimp plate. 🐟 was huge. And the 👃 was awesome.

My sister took me there I like the food and they were delicious and the waitress was so nice to serve us.. I recommend a lot of people to stop by there they serve delicious food especially breakfast and lunch thank you guys Merry Christmas to you guys and happy New Year

The carne quisada with cheese, barbacoa with cheese was delicious. The potato, egg, and cheese taco was missing the cheese. They brought me some cheese but, that is not the same so I just took it to go. The horchata was good. Tacos are tacos so no need for pictures.

Food was ok. Prices standard. Service was a rate of "D-"!!! The female staff that was servicing is took more care of construction workers coming in for lunch than she was concerned about a family needing and expecting the same to notch service....but did not receive. Food has decent taste but was warm because it took waitress forever to bring food to us.

Food is wonderful service very horrible Waitress made us feel very unwelcomed. 20 minutes to just get drinks took three waitress before we got drinks and then they wrong. How hard is it to make one unsweetened tea and one sweet tea . I have never felt more unappreciated as a customer

The food is good. I had like 3 different waitress and only came when I had my drink, my cheese dip I asked and food. They didn't come back to check if I needed anything else.

Cocktail shrimp sauce was delicious but shrimp was over cooked. Beef and shrimp plate excellent! And plenty for two people easily. Flour tortillas home made delicious. My Ribeye steak properly seasoned and cook my shrimp not hot as in temp. Still delicious. Overall as a self taught chef/cook. They had all the great ingredients to take it to a higher level but I believe they can get there but they need to temp and taste their food more often to assure food temp and quality
