Today was my first visit. I wish that I had went sooner. The park is clean, and the trails are great for jogging, etc. There are more deer than you can count, and a few falcons nesting aloft in the trees.

Great park for running trails. Shady, hilly at times, peaceful yet enough people about to feel safe. Wonderful to see the deer scattered throughout the park , the babies in their strollers, the young and old, the fit and not out enjoying themselves.

Beautiful park. I come here to do morning or afternoon walks now. Perfect for family or solo. I walk the trail and it takes about 30 min to walk the Level 1 & Level 2 trail which is 1.2 miles. I started forcing my parents to do this walk too since they need exercise. They are around 65 yrs old and they can do the trail walk no problem so perfect for elderly folks as well. The park has perfect spots to do a picnic, playground for children, and basketball court.

Man, I have no idea how I have not been on these trails, they are Great, with Hills, scenery, so peaceful, and well kept. I love this place, and first time out with my girlfriend, we did a 3 mile hike, and we loved it. We will be back, maybe with bikes next time. My 2 cents.

Always nice here, great trails for the city and open until 11pm is a plus. Definitely try some of the off pavement trails, to and from the Greenway. A lot of deer and other animals to view, plenty of picnic tables and parking. I've been a few times and can explore something different every time. Good playground for the kids, trails to hike, trails to bike and picnic areas, bathrooms available.

I went out Hiking on the Olmos park on Bandara Road and did some hiking and picking up a lot of trash in the park and on a short section on the Leon Creek Greenway. WE CAN DO BETTER SAN ANTONIO!!! Please consider bringing a small grocery bag with you and take the 5 Piece Challenge and try to pick up 5 Pieces of trash per day while hiking. Then simply pass the challenge on to others. I can do a lot while I'm out, but I just can't do it on my own. I need all of us to care enough about the trails that we love to help keep them a sanctuary from the crazy of the outside world 🌎! Shout out if you will accept the challenge and post your challenge pictures to encourage others in your Facebook groups. If we want change, we have to be the change that matters. Thanks 🙏 for caring and helping! <•>==> Squarepeg <==<•>

This is one of San Antonio's great trails for families, cycling, hiking, individuals who are looking for anything from a peaceful walk to athletic run. Equipped with water fountains, portable potties, covered areas and pavilions, playgrounds, basketball courts, there's something for every level of outdoor fun.

Favorite park to go for a shady walk near Leon Valley. The main trails are wide and well defined and used by walkers, runners and bikers. The shady trail loop is about a mile long, narrow but still ADA accessible. Lots of picnic areas and benches along the park with a nice playground for the kids.

I have loved this park since I was a pre-teen. I'm 37 now! The trails to several neighborhood parks connect here. There are bike trails, a playground for kids, paved trails, and my favorite- dirt paths! Go off the trail and down into the creek. There are beautiful limestone rocks, fossils, carved trees, man made nature forts, bike trails and ramps galore, bridges, etc. Soo many places to take beautiful pictures, and so much "Bridge to Terabithia" style childhood nostalgia that we now get to share with our kids!

I was there as a volunteer for the Helotes human society. It's a great place for friends, but must of all its a great place to take the hole family. There's playground for the kids, hiking trails. Deer to watch beside the scenery.

The Playground is really nice. There is also a nice are to sit down and clean Restrooms. 3 Stars for the Playground, seating area & clean Restrooms. I went there to, what i was hoping for a peaceful walk. That sadly did not happen. This park, and most others, are more like walking on 1604. Bunch of Mountain bikes who chase by very fast. For a walker, it's a constant jumping to the side, and my dog got scared of the extreme fast and way to close passing bikers. I used to Donate to the parks, since I used to walk my dogs there. Sadly, that is no longer possible, and therefore I no longer Donate.

I recently visited this city park, and it’s a lovely spot to spend some time outdoors. The park offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The greenery is well-maintained, and the trees provide ample shade on sunny days. One of the highlights of this park is the walking trails. They are well-paved and offer a pleasant stroll through nature. It’s a great place for a leisurely walk or jog. There are also some charming picnic areas where you can enjoy a meal with family or friends. Overall, this city park is a hidden gem for those looking to unwind and connect with nature without leaving the city limits. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing day outdoors.

This is a really great place to go, lots of trees, bring a buddy as it's not necessarily safe to be alone I'm not saying it's dangerous just be smart. Including your shoes and how close you are to obvious drop offs because it is a long way down.

Lots of trails here and a playground with one big kid swing and one baby swing. Will come back to check out more of the park.

I recently went there for the first time today, and I absolutely loved it! Way too many trails to walk the same path twice. As long as you're willing to not stay on the paved path.

Pretty cool trail head ties into Leon creek Greenway and some other trails. Will post up more pictures later. Pretty awesome wildlife out here. Lots of folks with their dogs. Lot of cyclists out here as well so be careful. Would definitely recommend walking this trail or even just visiting.

This is an excellent park for walking, jogging, or bike riding. There are many trails and most the paths are shaded as well as paved and very wide. There's bathrooms at the trailhead. The park is dog friendly. There are picnic tables.

Very nice park with many trail options. Seemed well kept and used. You’ll run into people on the trail but want so busy you felt like there was no space. Various lengths and trail types…from easy and paved to harder in woods paths. Saw deer along side the trail. Areas to rest and picnic tables available as well. Great for families. Trails were for walking, running, biking, and other.
