In the center of Cosenza, a small restaurant where you are immediately welcomed like an old friend. Excellent food with quality local raw materials. Very fresh fish. The chef also recommends and prepares off-menu dishes, a menu that is not fixed but changes every month following the seasons, accompanying customers to try Calabrian products. The quality/price ratio is excellent and very honest even in the prices of the wines, always Calabrian. You have to book because the place is small, thanks to this the customer is at the center of attention. In addition to starters/first/second courses and desserts, there are also sandwiches on the menu, everything is made by them, even the bread, breadsticks and taralli. What a gem!

Il proprietario è attentissimo alle necessità del cliente,molto presente durante il corso della serata per spiegarci al meglio i piatti e la provenienza della materia prima,che c'è da dire,davvero fresca ed eccezionale! Sin da subito abbiamo trovato cortesia, professionalità,amore per la cucina e per soddisfare il cliente! Cosa dire di più? Questo ristorante ha lasciato me e il mio compagno a bocca aperta,torneremo sicuramente per provare gli altri mitici piatti di questo locale,sicuri che saranno sempre al top! Locale moderno e super confortevole, gli arredi elegantemente sobri e lo staff sanno metterti subito a tuo agio. Il personale è gentile e attento ad ogni richiesta, anche le più particolari legate ad esigenze di salute come nel nostro caso. Il cibo è ottimo e fresco, declinato in un menù sempre vario ed interessante che tiene in grande conto i prodotti locali ed a km 0, come ad esempio la scelta di offrire solo vini del territorio; in special modo abbiamo apprezzato i vari tipi di pane, le paste fresche ed i taralli autoprodotti, ed infine i deliziosi dolci che non deludono mai. Torneremo sicuramente.

We had heard about the restaurant and with two friends with great curiosity we booked last Saturday... We were pleasantly surprised first of all by the welcome and kindness of the owner and chef of the restaurant Marco, who recommended us and told us about his dishes like a poem 😍 when you can convey the love for what you do it's a sublime feeling and he's truly top!!! The dishes we chose were not just food, but refined cuisine capable of truly awakening the senses... Everything delicious from the first bite to the last, perfect combinations and quality raw materials.. I absolutely recommend it!!! to try and return... As far as he looks at me, I promised myself that I would love myself by tasting the whole menu 💯💯💯💯

Delicious lunch stop en route to the Amalfi coast. Fresh, delicious meals and desserts, very quick, helpful to non-Italian speakers, and 4 kinds of fantastic homemade bread on the table.

This is the place to eat! Pasta was out of this world!

Upon entering we were greeted with a very good welcome and accompanied to the table. The environment is very pleasant, with pleasant background music that gives it the right touch of refinement. The mixed fried food was good (which I highly recommend) and the sandwich menu was also good, which in the difficulty of choosing we were excellently recommended by the staff in the room. Try the overcooked sandwich (in the photo), which can also have its ingredients modified if you have particular dietary needs. Ultimately I believe that the experience I had was more than positive and that having also an excellent quality/price ratio, "Pelata Matta" is an excellent place to take into consideration, which I recommend and which I will more than willingly return to.

5 stelle meritatissime...ambiente pulito.. tranquillo...familiare .. il cibo super...oggi mi sono deliziata con un buonissimo spaghetto alle vongole e un tiramisù cremoso e squisito...mio marito invece salsiccia arrostita e verdure grigliate...tutto strabuono.Ormai è il nostro punto di riferimento ❤️ bravi

Se vuoi stare davvero bene, è il posto che fa per te. Ti accoglie in un'atmosfera serena e familiare... con la simpatia e il sorriso del grande chef Marco, attentissimo al cliente e pronto a "raccontare" i suoi piatti come le più affascinanti storie. Il "tutto fatto in casa", dalla pasta, ai dolci, alle varietà del pane, e la scelta del "chilometro zero", sono un sicuro richiamo. Insomma, tutto con amore e con arte. Consigliatissimo.

We stumbled upon this place while passing through Cosenza and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was amazing and the service was very polite, friendly and genuine. The decor was very slick and clean. Must try while in Cosenza!
