This is ridiculous! Their power shut down! And other places around this place has power! They hold our card and not letting us leave without paying. And how you don’t have power?! We will pay but are you holding us hostages or what?! The security is extremely rude and could not handle their power issue. Never ever again! What a nightmare.

The whole bar lost power and they hold our ID’s. It was super weird. They didn’t have power for 2 hours and more and the security was extremely rude and tried to choke my friend for no reason. It was shocking for me. They were trying to pick fights. I hope the management is aware of this. Or the management will only listen the security. But I have videos they are admitting that they were wrong. I won’t return ever. This is so bad.

Let me tell you what happened 12/29/22 night at 7:58pm. Their outage shut down and things didn’t get nice in this place. It was my first time. They refused to give my husband’s ID and the security guy tried to choke him with his arms. And took them outside with 4 people. Are you guys serious?! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I have the video everything and I’m going to management. But I hope the management is fair not to stand with one side. This is not okay and your place has a electricity problem and my belongings could have been stolen the security wasn’t doing anything! Except hurting my husband.

Xena, our server, made this visit so wonderful. The spot is loud most of the time, from what I know. The patrons go for the drinks and then the food, I think? The flavors are pretty wild but the drinks are so very well done. Also, Xena explained everything to us each time we had a question about ingredients and preparation. Everything went pretty smoothly and the decor is pretty shockingly cool. :)

Came here for a coworker’s going away party and this was the perfect spot! Service was on point, plenty of space for large outdoor gatherings, food and drinks were delish! We got the short rib fries and lemon pepper wings. Will definitely be coming back again. ☺️

First time coming here was for their first luau since covid. It got pretty packed but the food was great! When we first got seated, we were sitting directly in the sun and started to sweat. Eventually the staff put up the sun shades and that helped immensely. Would like to try it another time aside from the luau!

Hip mixed crowds. Food & drinks are great for the price. Cocktails are $12. Big entree is only $15. I got crispy honey ribs with crispy Brussels sprouts. They tasted good. My friend got blackened salmon salad and liked it a lot. I would recommend this place to others.

This place is always a lot of fun, and it gets packed in the evenings. It’s got a western vibe, and a party atmosphere. This place was named after John Wayne’s 136’ yacht which is still in service in Newport Beach today. A couple of years ago they expanded this bar to about four times its original size, and it’s now on one of 17th St. best places for nightlife.

Great place with lots of calling to 30 something people. Everybody looks beautiful. Food is great. Atmosphere is great if you’re looking for a place to just have a good beer this is the spot.

We discovered this place during the shutdown. It’s been through a remodel since. It has a creative menu and the service is great. They also have some specials such as Taco Tuesdays, Wing Wednesdays, and Cowboy Steak-Out Thursday’s. Happy hour is M-F from 2-6pm. They also have random activities, like a recent paint night. We enjoy this place. Pics are from several different trips. It’s dog friendly and sort of a 25-45 crowd most of the time. Outdoor seating is nice. Football on TV during season.

Absolutely terrible food, horrid service, and the drinks were garbage. The price point of this place is absolutely INSANE! we had a total of 8 entrees, no ones food was any better than mediocre at best. First rib piece was extremely dry with a sub-par taste, the second and third had no meat and were just chunks of fat. Would not recommend, zero out of ten.

Chris & Madison took great care of us. Big, meaty chicken wings - too bad there wasn't a Wednesday special per their slogan. Impressive collection of whiskey.

For St Patty’s day it’s the best! On other days, I don’t know but the servers are great and they handle business! The vibe is pretty chill and the crowd is great. Next time I’ll try to get their food but overall it was a great experience. The parking is probably the hard part but they got valet!

A long time staple of Newport Beach. Characters welcome. I've been coming here off and on since i turned 21. Wild Goose is a great spot to meet up with groups and meet new people. Can't even count how many beers they have on tap. With new beer being added regularly. It's connected to another bar next door called The Boulevard, which is another great bar with a great vibe.

Cool hole in the wall. Hip music. Great service. The avocado toast for Saturday brunch was absolutely delicious. The homemade foccacia was fantastic. I was skeptical of Cucumbers on the toast but it totally worked and brought everything together by adding such a brightness to it. The classic burrito and hot sauce was perfect. Good drinks, good food, relaxed/unpretentious vibes. Will be back!

Great place to grab a drink with friends. The food on the other hand is just ok, not like gotta come to have that. Got the Chili cheese fries and my friend got the club. We had come before and the food was not all that but was trying it again. I'd say stick to the drinks 🍸 😜 and have fun.

Very fun place with diet busting food choices. Got the Capresse Burger and had them put it on grilled sourdough. No problem! Drinks are mixed very well. Pizza by the slice is thick crust style so one is a meal. Grilled Brussels Sprouts were just the right amount of chat crunch.

Ended up here since it was one of the places opened the latest and I remember it being a cool place. Service - Place gets busy but staff hussles and does the best they can to keep up and help everyone. Drinks - Decent selection of options, and the pours are great here. Prices - Great prices on drinks. Venue - Decent size and has a party, social feel to it. Overall fun place that's worth hitting up.
