The Noguchi Garden was built on what used to be a lima bean farm and now is the home of two office buildings. The garden depicts California and it’s terrain. Redwood trees, sculptures, desert plants and a fountain all displayed on 1.6 acres. Nice place to sit or take photos. The parking was easy on a weekend, this is office space, so keep that in mind when parking Monday- Friday.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO FREE PARKING. parking is 2 dollars for every 15min. First 15 min are free. This little Japanese garden style is beautiful. It definitely seems more designed for the employees of this small business complex. Super beautiful to walk through and sit down and relax. I was here on a Monday around 4pm and it was empty. A lot of wind channels through here so it can get cold. I really wish they would design more and bigger version of this peaceful oasis. Great for pictures and taking a second to relax your mind. I loved this place. The atmosphere is so precious.

California Scenario (Noguchi Garden) is a small hidden public sculpture garden in Costa Mesa, CA. It’s 1.6 acres of open garden is surrounded by office buildings and tall corporate buildings. It is open free to the public from 8 AM to midnight. Parking can be found in the parking structure on Avenue of the Arts for a fee. However, there is a free parking lot if you look hard in the area. This park is great for taking photos, wedding shoot, date spot, relax and the best part it has a pingpong table and cornhole for visitors. Overall, it’s a nice sculpture garden.

Small garden with some interesting architecture elements. It's surrounded by tall buildings that can make great perspectives. The place is very popular for Instagram photos. Parkings are in a parking structure and it's reasonable for $9 for 3 hours.

I can’t believe this gem of a place exists and is so accessible! I’m a wedding photographer and my bride & groom wanted to do their portraits in Noguchi Gardens and it was stunning! So much fun architecture and minimalist greenery that helps soften the texture of the space. I love that parking is available too!

Noguchi Garden is a place where no one will think it exists. Being accessible only by limited number of people, due to parking restrictions, it adds to the charm that you can enjoy the art - undisturbed. If this place eventually gets the fame it deserves, I hope everything remains pristine.

As a photographer, one of my favorite places for a simple & elegant photoshoot! It’s usually pretty quiet. Parking can get pricey though if you don’t have validation/ so definitely get a drink somewhere 😁

🌟ℕ𝕠𝕘𝕦𝕔𝕙𝕚 𝔾𝕒𝕣𝕕𝕖𝕟𝕤🌟 •••Costa Mesa.CA••• 》Noguchi Gardens is a tranquil oasis set amongst the hustle and bustle of the city life. It is easy to walk right by it without realizing that behind the scores of buildings sits a tiny world of it’s own. The site was commissioned by philanthropist Henry Segerstrom, who had parlayed his family’s lima bean fortune into a South Coast Plaza mall on one side of his family’s property....Perfect place to MEDITATE, RELAX and REGROUP 《 November 11,2021

The pictures posted here are very deceiving. The actual "garden" is so small, and the pictures make it seem like it is such a huge park and more. It is surrounded by a bunch of businesses, and it was a struggle to even figure out how to get inside of the place. You also have to pay for parking, and it was expensive. Definitely not worth the trip, unless you are going to a nearby restaurant.

A nice little place to rest and clear your mind. I don't think it's worth a special trip to visit. It's a good addition if you happen to visit the Orange County Museum of Art across street.

One of the most magical hidden gems in the entire OC. Parking is expensive, confusing and narrow. But everything else is just superb. It’s great for photo shoots or for a relaxing, meditative walk. The water features are so calming! I really love the exceptional atmosphere this place has.

This is a great place to go and sit quietly. It is surrounded by a group of buildings, so during lunch there is some foot traffic walking around, but the buildings also give it an enclosed private feel. A wonderful place to get a meditative respite. The garden has a few types of environments for you to enjoy. Make sure to read about it on the placards they have put up.

Amazing and accessible area for photoshoots and just relaxing with a zen vibe. Though it is small, there are plenty of areas to find great backdrops and also enjoy the architecture. I would recommend coming right before golden hour so you can set up and have enough time for the lighting.

Interesting architectural take on a park space, definitely feels more like a museum place vs a recreational area. It was very popular with people taking portraits.

Great place for a nice walk, picnic, and pictures. But be aware of parking price $14 for an hour, NOT convenient

It was late and they were closing. It was 4th of July and they were out of Boba, but apologized for it. Kind staff and recommended something else and new. Delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. Very clean and fast.

Peaceful little park, set amid office buildings and a parking garage.

Truly unique gardens - love that it is a delightfully peaceful escape from the busy urban environment. You fee peaceful and even quiet solitude. Like an oasis.

Noguchi Garden is a place that feels unreal. I wanted to get away from studies for a while and go somewhere far, a place where I can forget it all. After looking through the maps for a while, I find the Noguchi Garden. After reading a bit of its history behind the art, I realize that it could be a nice place to visit. I got to the garden through the bus south and then walked on foot towards the garden. It was a little awkward since I was a casual student with a huge backpack walking down business buildings with people in fancy attire walking down and lightly staring. After a bit, I made it. It felt so unreal, something about the environment was so soothing to me. It may not be for everyone, as it can be boring for some people. But for other people like me, just sitting on the bench and staring at the whole landscape is just, serene. I loved it and I’ve visited two more times after school. Nobody was ever really there, it always felt like a safe haven. A place to get away from the metropolitan city and scholarly stress for once.
