Horribly dirty everywhere, bathroom is so old and dirty. Service is really cold and bad. Paper walls, you can hear everyone talking in other rooms plus you can hear every car passing on the street. No dumpster on the room. No fridge. Only good thing was big and comfy bed.

Rooms were simple but clean. Just in the second day we got towels which smelled like cigarettes. It is very loud in the room due to the traffic.

I can never reccommend that hotel. I believe they write fake comments about the hotel as if it is a good hotel. The hotel room is very old very bad and uncomfortable bed , very old AC , TV from 70s nothing to watch. Hotel is like to destroy The price is very high It is like an old hostel not an hotel They lock the hotel door at night , you ring the bell when you come at night and wait the poor guy who works at the hotel for 7 /24 to wake up and openthe door, there is one guy at the hotel he is working 7/24 and he doesnt speak english like all the other staff at the hotel so sorry for him this is not humanistic and it is unprofessional So Briefly stay away if you do not want to loose your money and time We are sorry that we stayed at that hotel it was a bad experience in beautiful Lisbon area we trusted to fake comments Don't believe

The hotel was fully renovated on July 2019, haves a new management and offers a 5 stars accommodations with a delicious breakfast!

We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked this hotel for budget reasons and location as it was not long to drive to downtown Lisbon. Location is roughly a 10min walk to the local beach where there a lot of restaurants along the water. Supermarket a long the same street for any snacks. Located in a small town which also has local banks which ATMs if needed. Parking is free in front of the hotel/around the area. Breakfast was included, small spread of cereal, cold cuts/cheese and breads. No hot food. Service was good. Front staff were friendly and were able to help with any questions and storage of our bags. We’re able to fix any problems right away. As for our room there was an issue. We arrived early and asked if we could check in but our room wasn’t ready so we stored our bags. We ended up staying out late and when we did pick up our keys and headed to our room it was under construction. I went back downstairs and asked if they was a mistake and the staff work came up to confirm it was a mistake and helped get a new room. Our new room was nice and large. You could tell it was freshly renovated. There was still boxes and such outside in the hallway of our room. The biggest issue with our room was the new headboard they installed had such a strong wood smell we had to rearrange the whole room because I could sleep with the smell. Other then the mix up of rooms it was nice. The only other down side is we were facing the road and it was really loud in the morning with the traffic. Overall experience was good and we were happy with the location and quality for price.

Worst experience I had as a tourist, the rooms were in bad shape, full of dust and mold. The staff was rude and impatient.

It's an old building/many things are old there/it's a 2 star cheap hotel, but the rooms are nice with the basic that you need for a short 1 week stay. The breakfast service is good with the basic foods you need in the morning to start off your day. There's hot water in the shower, however, I don't recommend drinking water from the tap. The bed is large and comfortable with good pillows. The staff is fantastic, very professional and attentive and super friendly, they speak English/Spanish/French, and the location is the best about this hotel, they're just a 5min walk to Caparica Beach and there are many shops, cafes, supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants in the area near it, and if you need to take public transport to Lisbon, there are at least 3 bus lines to the city with a bus stop just across the street from the hotel. Yes, I do recommend this hotel ! Enjoy your time in beautiful Lisbon !

Very bad memory!!! I forgot my bag in the room, I came back to the hotel after few hours and I asked for my bag, they told me there nothing. I asked to see the room and he was clean, when I left the room I saw a 2 black garbage bag outside I open the bag and I found my wallet in another garbage bag. I found my money and my watch in my wallet but I will never come back to this hotel!!!

The staff very friendly and supportive. Daily cleaning service not any charge also for breakfast you don't need to pay anymore just that you payed when you payed for your booking everything is included in your booking price have a good experience i suggest for Couples and family for holiday. just a 5 minutes walk 🚶‍♂️ you gonna arrive at the beach ⛱️ 😉

We booked this room to avoid staying in downtown Lisbon for an early airport pickup. Very happy we did. Close to a beautiful beach, fun staff and a giant bed with a big balcony. Great restaurants on the beach nearby. Easy parking. Highly recommend

I was initially disappointed with this hotel, as on Expedia this was not much cheaper than the 4 star hotels. And my room here is small and smells of smoke and needs some maintenance. Pictures on website do not match. Also there is no hot food at breakfast. However the location is very good. Near the beach and bus stop. Take bus 3710 goes to arrerio, a metro stop on the green line. Or bus 3011 to cacilhas then the ferry to casa de sodre. If you buy a viva viagem card from the metro station at the airport and charge it up, each journey is about 1.50 on bus, train, tram (28 even), and ferry.

This was the worst value for money I have ever experienced in all my travels. Hotel is old, shower is tiny and needs renovation, cleaning is far from thorough (under the bed, lamps and similar place seem to not have been cleaned for months). Breakfast with very low quality products. staff is nice and friendly, but not knowledgeable to support in queries as you would expect

This is a 2 star hotel. Excellent bedroom, huge bed, super clean (both the room and the bathroom) very nice staff. Excellent bang for the buck.

My experience at the Hotel Maia is incredible, the employees are professional in question of attendance. Rooms are always clean and service is good. The Hotel is located some miles near from the beaches at the Caparica's area.
