Cool little independent coffee shop. Nice outdoor area to sit. Good service. They have their own small parking lot but there is also a decent amount of street parking. Pretty busy on Sunday morning so you have a small wait for your order.

Fun little place to get good dessert and boozy coffee drinks. There’s outside and indoor seating with cozy environment. Fire side seating outside and usually music playing. Ordered the half-baked cookie with ice cream and it was delicious. Unfortunately it wasn’t half-naked though. It was rathe me well done but still had great flavor.

The spiced lav cold brew and deluxe avacado toast were amazing, the service and vibe was awesome.

A fantastic cup of coffee! I had seasonal cappuccino and it was AMAZING! Great coffee, service and atmosphere. There's nothing better than a handmade cappuccino in a ceramic mug!!

I enjoyed visiting here :) last time I went was about 2 years ago. The food and drinks were delicious! I hope to stop by again soon

The menu and coffee offer an imaginative healthy delicious experience. The wait for a coffee is upwards of 20 minutes. I always get my food before my drink. Plan accordingly.

If you have not found Upshot yet you are missing out. It is a great place to meet up for coffee. The food is also incredible, my favorite is the everything bagel. Great service, great vibe, great location in Cottleville.

Incredible breakfast burrito and chorizo quesadilla. It can get a bit noisy if it's crowded, so bring headphones if you're the type that needs 'em to hocus-focus. The outside area is a decent place to chill as well. Found out that I'm not a fan of matcha, but that's not their fault! They have a solid amount of coffee/tea options and I can't wait to go back to try more.

Another good experience. Very friendly service…attentive, listened, and kind. Got the Guatemalan finca la Burbuja pour over - good flavor though the dark chocolate peppermint cookie overwhelmed the more subtle flavors. Coffee was smooth (low bitterness) and while I wasn’t able to name the flavors (my fault, not the coffee’s) I could tell there were notes of differences with each drink.

Really cool local coffee spot. Lots of great options and the folks working are very helpful if you’re not sure what to get.

Now this place is special.. The coffees and the vast amount of choices of coffee and food and truly all taste great. They also have juice drinks, smoothie style drinks and basic oatmeal straight black coffee or tea if that's what your interest in 👍. Pro: Food and various style of drinks to pick from are extraordinary. Food has so much flavor 😉 con: Parking is a bit of a mission Prices are $$$ but very well done food so very worth it for the area. Something unique : This place has such a peacefulness to it in such a nice niche of in area that makes you feel happy and relaxed👍👍

This is my favorite spot for coffee in the St. Charles area, both locations are awesome! Their honey chicken breakfast sandwich is amazing. I love the seasonal latte options and that they have fresh juices and broths and options for take home healthy foods. The staff is always awesome. They have gluten free and vegan options as well.

I have been here three times now. Very unfriendly staff. Today I waited 30 minutes for a Matcha Tonic. I also purchased two 50 dollar gift cards today. I will not be going back after today. Way too long of a wait and the staff needs a lesson on how to be friendly.

I went today to meet up with a friend I had not seen in well over a year. The coffee was unbelievable! I had a caramel latte with oat milk and I don’t think I’ve EVER had such a well balanced flavor profile in a coffee before. I’m so sad that I don’t live nearby, this would be the coffee shop I’d go to EVERY DAY! The food didn’t impress me though, I had the breakfast burrito and it was very complex. There were too many flavors going on inside it. After a few bites I liked it better, however it was only okay. Not amazing or anything noteworthy. The atmosphere was very nice. I sat and talked with my friend for 3 hours at the counter and the staff was very nice. My friend got a special drink that she didn’t care for after trying, and they made her a new drink free of charge. I’ll definitely have to come back!!

Always a great time and amazing coffee! Also best chicken biscuit sandwich ever, the siracha honey is out of this word.

Deluxe Avocado Toast is my absolute favorite highly recommend if you love excellent flavors and love avocado toast! It pairs perfectly with almost any coffee choice. Also recommend the Pumpkin Spice Latte when in season. I highly recommend it even if you hate the psl from Starbucks. This will give you a new view on Pumpkin Spice Latte’s and you won’t regret it. My only complaint is pricing on some food items but for me it’s well worth it. I can typically spend $6-$22 with tip for food and drink (yes I know that’s a lot for one person but trust me you won’t be disappointed)

Great coffee! Been here two times and the flavor was consistent. I love how it’s served in that type of glass, I feel like it makes the drink even better than it already is. First drink pictured is an iced brown sugar latte with cold foam, the second one is an iced pumpkin latte with pumpkin cold foam! So good

Great experience this past Sunday. The coffee was great and the breakfast was really good. I got the breakfast sandwich and my partner got the bagel. Both were way beyond what we actually expected. I highly recommend this coffee place!

Upshot had a wonderful environment and friendly baristas. The coffee was very tasty and had a really rich flavor. And paying $4.50 for a monster cinnamon roll with a delicious flavor and perfectly airy dough was the steal of the century. If you're looking for a place with comfortable vibes and good drinks for studying or catching up with friends, Upshot is the place to go.

If you like coffee this is the spot. I like going to different coffee shops and seeing if they have anything different. I was hoping for a cold pour over but usually places don't do it. Blake was already hip and suggested the perfect coffee on a hot day. Then I was ordering a baked item and my man Blake came through again. He suggested the banana bread because it would compliment the coffee. So not only good coffee and food but awesome atmosphere and a unique experience. Not only will I be coming back but I suggest hitting that direction button and go immediately.

This place has a moody vibe. They are always offering an interesting twist/new flavor options. The staple lates are a consistently solid choice. I like the avocado toast but haven’t figured out how to enjoy it without the hard crust scuffing up the roof of my mouth. This is clearly a “me problem.” The staff is very kind. Each time I’ve been here I’ve been entertained by the behind-the-counter conversations while waiting for my order. It would be nice if they had cozy indoor seating for folks who want to sit and stay or work a while. If you go up on a Saturday morning it has a housewives of Cottleville feel… with groups of moms and their kids, cyclists, and golf cart cliques enjoying their mornings. Thankful Upshot is a part of our community!

We had my daughter’s graduation party at Upshot. They catered for us & we also had a barista for the event. From start to finish they were WONDERFUL! I am so thankful to have been able to throw such a great event for my grad! Thank you to alibi & team for an awesome night! ☕️🤍

I try to frequent local small businesses. While I was in Cottleville, I wanted coffee and decided to go to a local rather than my usual Starbucks. This place is kind of hidden. It has a nice lobby area. The food looked a bit froufrou and to $$, but I was just wanted an iced latte. I chose the iced latte with cinnamon. The girls working were very friendly. The coffee, even with extra added sweetener, was bitter, yet somehow, bland. I managed to get half of it down before I gave up. I'm giving 3 stars because of their variety of bone broths and how friendly and sweet to staff was.

5 stars and beyond!! I only have good things to say about this place. The coffee is amazing and the staff are all so courteous and wonderful. I stop in about every day and the staff is SO NICE to me and my puppy. The menu is great (tons of options) and I truly feel special everytime I stop in. THANKS!! 😁

Our first time here this place was awesome, exactly what we were looking for! Kids had a craving for different kinds of popcorn and had everything we could have imagined. We will definitely be back, great service and great selection !

Great little quality coffee spot! Def worth a visit and staying for a cup coffee. The coffee art is worth the wait.
