Their salads are some of the best I have had and they have a great selection of pizza. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. I would recommend this place for sure!

Scooby Doo approves this pizza joint! Not only is the special that we had out to this world with flavor, (peaches with balsamic and walnuts and stuff) the staff was very welcoming and very dog friendly. Thanks for the great grub! We will be back!

Plank Road was on my 🍕 hit list. Cheese pizza is 🔥 and the BBQ pizza didn't disappoint. Great dough, excellent sauce with properly portioned toppings. The family loved it too, which is highly important! Ps there's a whole BBQ joint attached to the same building..... smart!

Came on a Sunday afternoon for a solo meal. I ordered the plank road pizza (a chicken bacon club). Pros: -indoor/outdoor seating which is nice on a sunny afternoon like today, you can hear the live music next door from the patio! -the pizza was great, the flavors balanced well and you tasted each ingredient in each slice! Cons: -for this particular pizza they were out of avocados and they DEF belong on this pizza. Considering it’s been months since they’ve had avocado (going by other reviews here) I think the price should reflect that not being an option or take it off the menu, possibly make an avocado aioli to go on top instead? Overall definitely tasty pizza and one of the best I’ve had in St Charles so far (they have the awards to back it up!) I’ll definitely be back with more people to try a variety of the pizzas they offer 👌🏽

Very tasty craft pizzas. Pizza and salad lunch for $10 was perfect. Pizza crust had a nice crunch but was still thick and soft. Salad was crazy tasty! Staff was very friendly and helpful too. We will be back soon!

Food was delicious and fresh! We had the Hilltop pizza and house salads, and the dressing was SO GOOD. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed. Top-notch service, as well! Emily was so kind to bring our 8-month old a little plate of cheese to snack on and she was very gracious when he and our 4-year old made a bit of a mess. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience here! The counter service was quick and efficient, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. They also offer a great lunch deal. While inside seating is a bit limited, the spacious patio more than makes up for it. The clean bathrooms were an added bonus. Highly recommended!

This pizza place was much better than I was expecting. When you walk in you see that it’s really just 16-18 year olds working the place, but they actually do a really great job. When you walk in, you order your food at the counter and then sit down. It’s nice because you don’t need to tip so you save a bunch of cash too. Prices are very fair. The pizzas themselves are top notch. The dough is literally some of the best pizza dough I have had. Its is thin-ish but much softer than you’d expect. It is a pleasure to eat and not a burden (like some other places). The toppings are plentiful and there are about 15 different pizzas to choose from, most of which are rather unique. They will also allow you to split a pizza into two different types, which is great. All in all, Plank Road Pizza is top notch and I know I will definitely be back.

The staff is amazing! Today was our first visit to the restaurant and I have a list of food allergies. Not sure what I could eat if anything, two staff members spoke to my husband and me in length about what is in their homemade salad dressing . We placed our order and not only did they go above and beyond with explaining the ingredients they continued the same care for my order with the pizza. (Which I did not expect) The customer service is above and beyond! By the way… the warm cookie is a must!

Decided to try something new and thought it looked interesting. A well kept house welcomes you with herb gardens around the property they use for their pizzas. You walk in the front room to order and get your drinks. They do have a lunch special of salad and smaller pizza. We went with the regular size pizza. The pizza took about 20 minutes or so which was expected. They bring it to your table. They have a nice large patio for outdoor dining or plenty of inside seating. I’m sure it fills up at busy meal hours. The pizza was tasty and not too greasy. If I’m in the area again I’d definitely stop again!

Came in at 7:00 last night. They were already cleaning up to close at 8. We ordered and went outside since all inside tables had chairs up on the table. We got our pizza, but hadn’t gotten our salad yet. She said it’s coming. I had to go in and get plates and forks myself she didn’t offer. Salad came halfway through the pizza. We finished the pizza and I went in to get a box for salad to take home and a refill on my tea. I got the box but the tea had been dumped for the night at 7:30. I left a 15% tip when ordering. I won’t do that again They we’re just concerned with closing and going home. We eat here 2 or 3 times a month. Disappointed with this visit.

Plank Road Pizza is a Cottleville gem! The salad dressing should be sold, it's that good. Never disappointed by the pizza or the patio, not to mention the staff is friendly. The Main Street – Margherita is my favorite.

We had the pineapple pulled pork BBQ pizza. The flavor was really good. I would like to have had more meat so will add extra next time. Pizza came out hot and the crust was just right. I noticed later you can get individual size pizza so next visit we will try a couple different ones. Their pizza is big enough for two not a very large pizza so if you have 3+ you may want to order more than one.

Did not disappoint. The building is fantastic with modern old Cottleville charm, the service was great… the food: the classic salad was delicious, the thought put into chopping the lettuce to bite sized pieces, the dressing was amazing. The pizza was fabulous, the fine ground sausage was so good. They have the best ice & the ice tea was really good ice tea. The fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were over the top! Incredible thought and detail were put into every aspect of this business. If you are looking for great food and a charming location in the heart of historic Cottleville…Plank Road it is!

Used to like their pizza. Service is terrible. Ordered pizza on line. Showed up a few minutes early. Two people said it would be a few minutes. I moved to the waiting area trying not to be “that” guy. 45 minutes later I had to be annoying to get noticed. The pizza had been done for 30 minutes. Same person who told me it would be a few minutes told me she did not know I was there. DO MOT ORDER ON LINE!

Excellent pizza joint. Love the creative styles of pizzas and toppings. We visit Plank Road probably once every two months. We’d frequent it more if we lived closer. Oh, they also have an amazing salad!

First time visiting and their salad was delicious. Had the personal size pizza which was also great. Friendly people there too. But I don't understand why they have a tip section on there screen when you pay when you place your oder at the cashier station. A tip for just taking your order. Of course I left a tip because it makes you feel quilts if you don't. Only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star.

Excellent food, unfortunately the service not so much. I ordered a lunch special & ended up with some other pizza that didn’t include a salad and then when I requested one the girl working there slammed it on the table and said here’s your free salad. Guess it’s still hard to find good help? luckily the food was still good. Time to review the staff and explain customer service

Pretty good pizza. Loved the little made over house and the lighting. Thought it was a little pricey for pizza. Salads are big and I loved the dressing. Cute little place! Edit. Had the lunch special today. You get a smaller pizza and half a salad. Again pretty good.

Salad was ok. Pizza was good. Wine in plastic cup was too little for the price. Overall, it’s a lil expensive.
