Too many people disregard the ON Leash rule at the park. Animal control is worthless for maintaining the rules as well. My dog has been bitten by a dog not under control. I've had several come aggressively running up to us. A woman was attacked by one of these dogs also. Not to mention too many people allow their dog(s) to chase the foxes and other animals here too. It's disappointing.

There's so much to love about this place. The 1 mile trail around it has large trees along the Little Cottonwood Creek. There's a playground that was updated May, 2021. Tennis courts, although they aren't lighted. An older swimming pool that still has lots of charm. One of the best features is a family of red foxes that you can spot playing in the field on less crowded mornings.

Great running trail. Lots of people walk here. It’s a relatively short series of loops (my garmin said about a mile for each circle) but it’s nice. There’s even a hill you can sprint up that goes to the neighborhoods. It’s a bit odd getting here, but it’s a nice neighborhood and a nice gravel trail.

Loved this park since I was a kid! They've made some updates to the playground but I don't have kids so I spend all my time here walking the beautiful trail! Pet friendly (please clean up after them!), I don't see it being too much fun on a bike (but I don't see why you couldn't), water, flowers, a pool, and fun for the whole family!

Absolutely amazing public park hidden deep within a fairly wealthy neighborhood. Very large dirt and stone trails that wind around pretty fields and through small forests, perfect for walks and runs. Dogs allowed also which is a big plus! Lots of natural wildlife likes to roam around here too, i’ve seen cute little families of Red Foxes running around here on multiple occasions, which is always a pleasantly adorable surprise! There’s even a public pool here which is pretty cool, although I’ve never been inside. Probably one of my favorite parks in the Cottonwood Heights/Sandy area!

Great park with various walking trails next to river. Bathrooms by parking lot. Tennis courts and pool. Exposed trail but lots of greenery

This park is a fantastic hidden treasure. I love the 1.3 mile gravel loop for jogging, the open field, the creek with birds chirping. It is an ON LEASH park and I admit, we've let our dog off-leash a few times to chase birds. People are nice about it since she doesn't bother people at all. There is a fox den on the northeast end and you can see them at dusk. It's good to keep distance! Some people have been leaving eggs for them. It has a small, older playground and a pool in summer which I am anxiously awaiting to swim at! A great find in SLC.

Does someone need to be attacked to get this taken care of. Crestwood Park is a LEASH park, where there was wildlife present until Cottonwood animal control and local law enforcement decided it was not their issue that dogs could run freely and attack wildlife and other dogs. When I called animal control they told me to video the owners and their dogs, and follow them to their cars and photo them with their cars. How safe is that? I have been threatening when I asked others to leash their dogs and my son has had his dog ripped open and nearly killed by a "nice" dog! I get harassed by animal control in front of my home when I go get the mail (no signs posted that I need a leash in my driveway "! It's bad enough that dog owners let their dogs bark all day and night with zero respect for others but going to a POSTED LEASH park and getting accosted by the unleashed dog and possibly their owners. Where are the environmentalists? They seem to be the worst at this and they don't care about the wildlife being chased off.

There is playground equipment, tennis courts, a rest room, a swimming pool, and two drinking fountains (one east of the tennis courts and one east of the pool) . My favorite area is behind the developed park where there are dirt/gravel trails and a creek. A couple of bridges cross the creek between the developed and undeveloped parts. The primary dirt trail is about a 1 mile loop. If you're lucky you'll see the foxes that live there.

The park is clean. The people and dogs are friendly. There's shade, an orchard, and a little stream. The trail is a one mile marked loop. There are tennis courts and a playground. Love this park.

This place is big and beautiful and wild. There's two sections the small domesticish part then there's the trail which parallels a stream for half the length, wonderful walk, we were greeted by a symphony of birds too. There's also a free pool for the community

My FAVORITE park. Not a ton of shade but nice walking trail with river and mountain views.

Such a great park/community resource! Lots of space and options for recreation. You can take a nature walk, have a picnic gathering, play on the playground, play tennis, and even enjoy the pool during the summer months. Easily one of our favorite places to go after school!

Our family loves this park because we can wear the kids out either by playing at the playset which has been recently upgraded, or go for a long walk around the Riverbend. It's absolutely beautiful. There's also a swimming pool lol

Love this park, and how secluded it is, and a hidden little gem. Their pool is great and very inexpensive as well.

Excellent place to walk around and get some fresh air! Took my dog here with a friend and her dog and had a great time!!! This park is very spacious so you can have your own area. Great for training dogs or spending time with friends/family.

A beautiful park and lovely amenities. I wish the fields you can walk around weren't just full of invasive weeds, there could be a lot more native bird life if that was taken out and native grasses and flowers were seeded through that area, but generally a wonderful park and nice place to visit.

It’s like a little forest hidden in the suburbs! Many great memories over the years here. Swimming and air soft when I was a little kid. Walking the trails with cute girls in my teens. Now taking the family and the dog to explore on the weekends.

Great little piece of nature in the middle of town. Almost got ran over by a deer being chased by a dog. Love all the shade and water access. Great place for kids to explore

One of my favorite parks! Always nicely maintained! The creek is beautiful and the play area has been recently updated. A giant plus for the park system! A+

I had been looking for a new park to explore that would be fun for Dexter and the kids. I decided to go on a Sunday after church and this place exceeded my expectations. It has tennis courts, a pool and a kids play area which is mainly tires in the sand and a few other things which are just ok. It has a traditional park feel with grass big trees and picnic tables. But take the dirt trail and you find a fun walk filled with great mountain views and the steam which was really low when we were there. I'll definitely be going back

Nice decent and pretty big for its location they even have an area for equestrians would have gave it the full 5 stars but the pooling in Oban other than that it's a pretty swell place with plenty of shade and even a little Bridge with a stream under it's tucked away in a really nice neighborhood

Fantastic park. Great walking path. The only downside is that there are usually a lot of dogs off leash.

Great place to walk a mile on a trail or walk your dog on a leash. You feel away from homes until you look up on the ridge. Swings, a bridge, and a dirt trail is nice for a quick "get away." Wondering if the pool will be open in summer.
