The most beautiful place to escape- this paradise is close to Salt Lake City! The rocks are so fun to climb on and the forest is magical. Bring comfortable shoes and a jacket, for the weather can change on a dime!

I love this trail! It is well paved and scenic, following the snow melt/runoff in a stream from down Big Cottonwood Canyon. The trail passes by the Old Mill House and has markers along the route for other historic sites that used to be located there. Recently the city or an independent group has begun lining the trail with painted rocks with little messages or pictures that really add to the uniqueness of the walk. Dogs are allowed and the pond at the end is a great rest stop for the pups!

We wanted to celebrate the end of the school year with some hot dogs and s’mores and were please find a beautiful and clean picnic spot by the raging waters! I didn’t know if reservations were required or if the spot must be paid for but we didn’t see anything about on the bulletin board. Go try it for yourself!

I love walking and running this trail. The views are amazing, and when the snow melts in the spring it adds to the experience. The elevation gain can be a challenge if you're not ready for it, and drink plenty of water.

It is a beautiful paved trail and I love walking by the creek. Keep in mind if you are walking or pushing a stroller that there are a lot of cyclists and you need to move over for them pretty often.

A great open space for dog walking. Be careful in the spring, it can be kind of thorny for the pooches feet.

I love this trail. Its close to my work so sometimes I go for a nice peaceful relaxing walk on my lunch. It's beautiful, there is a small stream/river and a nice path to walk on.

Big canyon with trails and ski areas, home to a cold-water creek and dozens of mountain lakes. No dogs allowed.

Was thinking it was a dirt trail it’s paved trail. Nice but not enough shade for my little ones would prefer to do it on my own. It’s easy for kids but not fun for them.

Beautiful trail to have a nice evening stroll on. There is an okay amount of tree coverage but mid day can get pretty sunny.

Great trail to walk on and took grandkids to place positive messages painted stones. They had a great time and we threw rocks into the pond for an hour. Easy fun hiking and good entertainment for family fun.
