It is not authentic at all, it is more Americanized than anything. I bought a burrito, 2 tacos, and a large Pepsi, and it came out to almost $25. That is way too expensive for that little amount of food. I've been to other real authentic Mexican restaurants (that are really authentic), and those flavors are out of this world, and the prices are extremely more cheaper! The salsa's are kept in a fridge and it doesn't seem like they are done fresh everyday, because it tastes like they've been storing them in there for a few days. I say this, because when I went to pour the green salsa to my taco, it came out in a big clump like it was in a gelatin consistency (YUCK!!!!! 🤢🤮), and the flavor of the salsa is not there at all whatsoever. The red mild salsa tastes like it's just tomato sauce from the can, water, and salt...Very nasty! In an authentic Mexican restaurant I've never seen tacos that have lettuce and tomatoes...True Mexican tacos are supposed to have cilantro, onions, and lime...This place doesn't do that! I had no limes, no cilantro, or no onions at all (VERY DISAPPOINTED)!!! What a waste of time, and gas to go there to get some so-called authentic Mexican food! I feel that the majority of the people that give 5 stars or 4 stars, are the ones that are not Mexican, because they don't know the difference of what's a good authentic Mexican meal or not. They put salsa in the fridge and they use canned tomato sauce, water, and salt just to save a buck...Plus they use lettuce and tomato as a big filler to stuff more of that, instead of putting more meat in there! I will never be coming back...EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't be fooled...it says authentic in Google Maps but it is not at all authentic!!!!!!! The only thing that came out delicious was my Pepsi!

The food is awesome EVERYTIME. It is my guilty pleasure. Packed with flavor. Always fresh to order in person and via courier service. My favorite is the steak tostadas and birria tacos. They never disappoint. 5 Stars all around.

I have ordered from this place years ago, not sure why I haven't been back. But today I ordered 4 meals for the family. The problem is the lettuce is badly browned on 2 burrito bowls. I can't understand why they would put this bad lettuce on a meal to ruin it. They could have just said we don't have any lettuce, I would have been ok with that.

The manager has terrible customer service skills. I was dissatisfied with my order , and took it in to get corrected. The fries were undone and the fountain drink was watered down . He was rude the entire time finally I just asked for a refund and he refused. I asked where is it printed that I’m not allowed a refund and he couldn’t give an answer . I will definitely be disputing this charge &’ will not be returning.

Passed this place so many times I finally decided to try and I regret it now. The food was well presented shells were coming apart as soon as I picked it up and I ended up with a surprise and a bloody mouth had the bone been left out of my taco I might’ve been ok with my meal how do you miss a bone this big? Careless !

EVERYTHING about this place was amazing! Customer service was very personable. Spoke english, helpful with food choice. You can tell they make everything fresh. The flavors were on point! We ordered chicken and shrimp fijatis, steak tacos on corn, beans and rice. Out of all the places we have ever been, I will drive the 25 mins over and over again for more Whata tacos! We enjoyed that the owner came to our table and talked with us for a few moments. Very nice inside. 10 out of 10!

Bought a chicken and beef taco, 2 beef tamales and a steak and bean burrito. Every last one of these items was absolutely tasteless! Can you imagine Mexican food with no taste? This place use to serve really good food. We will not be going back.

Very disappointed! Always eat from here but today there was a ROACH in my beef tacos. WHAT THE HECK?! I received a full refund but that doesn’t take away from the unsanitary conditions that their food is being held and prepared! Order can be made wrong or even missing items but NEVER should have FULL GROWN ADULTS roaches with their meals!

I don't hate this restaurant. I dislike the staff that was working. It wasn't the regular staff. Even the cook was different. The customer service was rude. The food was tasteless and the 2 dinners were too salty and they gave me a side order of lettuce should had been thrown out. Which was not needed nor order. I order from here frequently and I refer family and friends there. What A Big Disappointment

I catered a company lunch through Whata Taco and we couldn’t be happier! Mike was great at listening to what we needed. The food was ready on time for pick up. It was hot and fresh. It all tasted great and the few left overs we had held up and people were able to enjoy them the next few days! We got steak, beef, chicken and vegetarian tacos with a mix of flour and corn shells. Everyone loved the rice and beans too and all the sauces! We will definitely cater through Whata Taco again!

I went here with no expectations bc I just wanted something to eat at 11pm and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken taco dinner with the mild sauce and it was absolutely excellent. If you are in the area and have a taste for tacos you should definitely stop in. The wait wasn't long either :)

The sopes, tacos and tostadas are very good. I tried the birria tacos and they were a bit disappointing. They did not skimp on the meat, but it wasn't well seasoned. Also, the consome was overly flavored with lime. It was very overpowering. I will return for the other menu items and the customer service though.

The taco combo I ordered was good and the service was good as well. The cashier lady advised me not to pour the extra hot sauce directly on my taco before tasting it with my finger. Good advise because it was really hot, lol. Overall good flavors. I'll be back soon as I just moved into the neighborhood!

Its hit or miss! I have only had the tacos here so I cannot speak to the other menu items. My typical order is for beef soft shell, corn tacos usually on taco Tuesdays. (All tacos for $2.00.) Their beef tacos are usually consistent. I would say they are good, but not great. The seasoning is mild with a slight hint of sweetness. The toppings a bit on the sparse side—lettuce tomatoes and cheese. The chicken tacos however, I tend to stay away from. The times that I have tried them, the chicken tends to be dry and tough. I’m guessing they prepare it in batches and not freshly prepared to order. I have tried the hard shell tacos. Those are a bit too hard by my standards, they are not bad tasting, just a tad too thick. The service and decor is good but nothing necessarily to right home about.

Went there for lunch from work and the rice was cold and tasted old. The chicken is precooked and cut into cubes then reheated. The beans were the only thing that tasted half decent. I asked for corn and got flower. Then when I was about to leave I wasn’t even given a spoon in the bag to eat my rice and beans with. Second time there figured I’d give it another chance and was disappointed once again. Do not recommend eating here.

Walked in quite a few folks I knew it must of been good and very reasonable. I had a delicious shrimp tostado loaded with shrimp and a cod taco appeared to be a whole filet. Really tasty. The cashier was very friendly.

This is an interesting place. Atmosphere-wise they seem to want to be Taco Bell fast food. However, the menu is huge and they make items with a lot of love. She had chilaquiles with an egg over easy and enjoyed it. I had the biggest burrito in the last three years and also enjoyed it. The main improvement would be more staff (they are hiring). From the outside the place seems like fast food mediocrity: just another place. But don't write them off.

Since it’s a state requirement for everyone to wear masks you would think the staff would have one on but no. The Cashier only has his on when taking customers orders then takes his off and the cooks don’t have one on at all while cooking and talking to each other. Walked out without ordering.

The customer service is great. I Porter's five steak tacos oh, they are really small. Literally two bites each Taco that's it. The quality of the meat isn't all that good, it's one step away from Taco Bell.. I haven't tried anything other than the tacos. Again they were okay. I will only go there if I have to because they're open late oh, other than that I wouldn't take it to someone else
